  1. (Time for our first fight!)
  2.
  3. I wake up, this time not to sex thankfully. I ready for the day, putting on my chest-piece, my cloak, and a pair of light-brown pants. I walk into the kitchen, noticing nobody is in there... not even Mika, who has a habit of whipping up breakfast. With nothing previously set out, I serch the cupboards for something quick to eat. I eventually find a granola bar, wrapped in thin plastic. A glass bottle of milk sits in our makeshift cold storage (it's basically just a little box that Mika put cold magic inside), so I quickly grab it, and chug a fourth of it down, wiping the remaining milk off with my sleeve. I chow down on the granola bar, and before I know it, I've eaten the entire thing.
  4.
  5. I open the door, walking out into the center plaza of the guild. Figuring none of the Group is there, I head outside, to where the sparring area is. As I open the door, the first thing i see is Berta and Eryne sparring with wooden swords. Berta's is obviously bigger, being the heavy-type she is. The giantess swings down, knocking the sword out of Eryne's hands. She kicks the dragon in the chest, causing her to fall over with an "oomph." "Alright, alright, you got me, I submit," Eryne says, defeated.
  6.
  7. "Berta, satisfied with her victory, sees me watching. "Hey, Sammy-Boy, pick up a sword, I'm in the mood for a fight!" Berta says with a gigantic amount of bravado. "Sure, my sword arm is a little rusty though, so ease up a bit," I reply, taking the thinnest wooden sword I could find from the weapon rack. I step onto the fighting ground, setting myself in my position, sword arm held back with the sword facing a stab-ready position, my spare arm held out.
  8.
  9. Berta appears!

  11.
  12. What will Samuel do?
  13.
  14. A. Tease Berta by taunting her
  15. B. Wait for her to strike first, then counter
  16. C. Go on the offensive, and jab at her shoulder
  17.
  18. (Okay, now play the music, as the scenes will come in short paragraphs, with quick updates)
  19. >Combo A. & B.
  20.  "C'mon, I bet you're still sluggish from all that time lying on your back yesterday!" I taunt, watching as Berta's face contorts into one of pure anger. In a fit of raging desperation, Berta swings her mighty sword horizontally. I roll under it, jumping up to stab her directly in the stomach. She falls back a bit, but recovers quickly, ready for more.
  21.
  22. Berta is enraged!
  23.
  24. What does Sam do?
  25.
  26. A. Dodge until she calms down
  27. B. Attack with a sharp thrust
  28. C. Jump up and slice vertically
  29.
  30. >A. Dodge until she calms down
  31.
  32. Knowing Berta, she's pretty furious right now, and most likely plans on using her brute force to strike. She runs forward, attempting to stab at me with her humongous sword. I easily dodge the gigantic blade, circling to her left and striking her wrist. She flinches, but does not drop the sword. She whips her blade back around, striking me in my upper-chest area. I fly back a few inches, almost falling over, but quickly recover, although injured a bit. I run up to her, planning on feinting her. The ruse works, and she jumps up slightly, swinging her blade to the ground, crashing into the Earth in a croutched position. I quickly duck to the right, and strike the back of her knee with a jab. She topples onto the ground, sword still in hand. Berta gets up as fast as she can, readying her sword.
  33.
  34. Berta is calming down, but is still quite angry
  35.
  36. What does Samuel do?
  37.
  38. A. In her slightly weakened state, go for a jump-thrust
  39. B. Parry in an attempt to get her tired, rather than attack
  40. C. Try to finish this by going for a multitude of strikes at once
  41.
  42. >C. Try to finish this by going for a multitude of strikes at once.
  43.
  44. Figuring Berta might be adapting to my form, I run straight at her. She quickly charges at me as well, her sword above her head, ready to strike down. As soon as I get colse enough to her, I thrust the wooden slim sword at her right arm. The jab connects, and disarms her from her longsword, dropping at her side. I slide underneath her, shooting back up as fast as I can. I chain together several stabs, hitting her straight in the back. I end it with a bash of the hilt, causing her to fall to the ground.
  45.
  46. Samuel has won the battle!
  47.
  48. Samuel gained 20 exp. points!
  49.
  50. Samuel Leveled Up!
  51. Samuel is now Level 1!
  52.
  53. Samuel learned 'Mimic Style!'
  54.
  55. "Gah, you got me Sam, good fight!" Berta compliments, staggering back up. "Though in a real fight, I'd have cleaved you in half with that strike," Berta adds. "Yeah, it was a pretty heavy one too, I'll give you that," I reply. "Hey, Sammy-Boy, I want to fight you too!" Eryne says, getting up from the bench. "Sure, but can you give me a minute or two, that last move took a bit of a toll on me..." I say, breathing heavily.
  56.
  57. After the quick rest, Eryne chooses her sword. I know she's at a bit of a disadvantage, considering she uses her falcata more than an actual sword. Eryne readys into her fighting stance, as I soon follow. Eryne wastes no time, quickly charging at me, sword ready to slice. I quickly roll around it, as she cleaves the air. I get back into position, readying to strike at a moment's notice.
  58.
  59. What does Samuel do?
  60.
  61. Samuel has 2 BP
  62.
  63. A. Mimic Style (2 BP)
  64. B. Attack (Make sure to type how we attack)
  65. C. Taunt
  66. D. Parry (Note, Eryne is a more all-around type, so she can dodge and counter-attack better than Berta can)
  67.
  68. >B. Feint an attack, leaving Sam open, only for him to counter-attack when Eryne strikes.
  69.
  70. Taking charge, I dash at Eryne, purposefully leaving my chest area open. Eryne, noticing this, strikes directly at my chest. I block the move, moving her sword arm out of the way with my sword, as I deliver a quick elbow-jab to her stomach with my spare arm. Eryne knocks back, suprised by the blow, but recovers within seconds. "You'll pay for that one!" she exclaims, angry that she was so easily feinted. She charges, her sword seemingly ready for a quick upward-thrust. I assume a defending position, my sword aimed lower to block the shot before it can gain momentum. Suddenly she's the one feinting me! She quickly changes her plan of attack, delivering a forward vertical slash, hitting me on the shoulder. My spare arm is practically useless now, having been swiped at.
  71.
  72. What will Samuel do?
  73.
  74. Samuel has 3 BP
  75.
  76. A. Mimic Style (2 BP)
  77. B. Defend
  78. C. Attack
  79. D. Parry
  80.
  81. >A. Mimic Style (-2BP)
  82.
  83. Feeling a sudden urge of desperation, I quickly think of what options I have left. At this rate, Eryne is going to beat me, and I need an alternative to my fighting style... think Samuel, think! A thought pops into my head. I circle Eryne, trying to stall as long as possible. I think of Berta and her Berserking fighting style. Suddenly, a stream of vigor and power flows through my body. I feel as though I could tank a thousand hits and strike a million foes! Holy shit! Is this how Berta feels all the time?! With the newfound strength, I quickly charge forward, rushing straight into Eryne. I leap with such mighty force that I don't even think Berta had possessed before, and crash down. Eryne holds up her sword to block, but the strike is too much for the wooden object to bear, and it snaps in half. The shot hits Eryne at full force, knocking her back several feet. I quickly shout "Don't worry, I'll pay for the sword."
  84.
  85. Samuel has won the battle!
  86.
  87. Samuel gained 25 exp points!
  88.
  89. "Jeez... dick, you could've said something like "Are you okay," but noooooo, you just haaad to make a joke," Eryne says, displeased with the fact that she had been bested twice in a row. "Hey, it was just a sparring match, better I joke about your loss than some brigand raping you and slitting your throat," I respond. "Tch, that's so unrealistic, you know swords beat axes, it's like rock-parchment-shears, and last I checked, most of the brutes use axes," Eryne says, basically just trying to argue for the sake of arguing.
  90.
  91. "Well, whatever, I'm getting hungry, let's go to the tavern and grab some grub," I say, trying to change the subject. "What, trying to find your new girlfriend?" Berta teases. "Hey, you aren't any better with little Miss Lizard-Lick, so put a lid on it. Gods, why are you two so on edge today? All I did was win a fair fight," I complain. "You say fair, I say Berta helped you," Eryne replies in a snarky tone. "Hey, what the hell did I do?" Berta shoots back, frustrated with Eryne's accusation. "Did you not see it? He obviously copied your fighting style at the last second, and charged straight through my defenses. Plus, did you 'actually' think Sammmy-Boy here could smash a sword thicker than his with that stubby little sword?" Eryne says. "Well, I'm flattered... I guess... whatever, let's just go to the bar, I could use a pint right about now," Berta says, standing up from the bench.
