Vial 1: Cleaned crystal fragment, open to light
Vial 2: Cleaned crystal fragment, closed to light with tinfoil
(Pair 2)
Vial 3: Bloody/"puss" covered fragment. open to light
Vial 4: Bloody/"puss" covered fragment, closed to light with tinfoil
(Pair 3)
Vial 5: Bloody/"puss" covered fragment in distilled water vial(full), open to light
Vial 6: Bloody/"puss" covered fragment in distilled water vial(full), closed to light with tin foil.
 
Each pair was chosen base on comparable size and shape of fragment.
 
Objective: Make note of any changes or oddities the fragments undergo under various conditions in a (mostly) controlled environment as they set for 2 weeks.
 
Results:
Vial 1 and Vial 2: Contents of the vial remained the same. No changes.
Vial 3 and Vial 4: Crystal remained the same, puss and blood solidified into crust like flaky material around the shard. Bits on glass dried out.
Vial 5: Shard decreased in size. Water changed color to faint amberish yellow. Puss/Blood - seemingly dissolved in water.
Vial 6: Shard is covered by small crystallized dust, some of which fell down to the bottom of the vial or floating in the water. Water changed color to faint amberish yellow. Pus/Blood - seemingly dissolved in water.
