- The Fate of Anonymous.- The Happiest Day of Your Life - -1-
- >You're Anonymous
- >and this is the story of how you died.
- >You're Anonymous, You have a shitty job, no friends and as of the end of today, no place to live.
- >You're behind on rent and today you was losing your damp one room apartment.
- >Your family are either dead of disinterested and the only woman you only loved cheated on you with your closest friend.
- >The world you live in is unforgiving and uncaring. You're alone in the world of coldness for one simple reason...
- >You are Anonymous.
- >You Do Not Forgive.
- >You Do Not Forget.
- >Your life up until this moment has been a train wreck.
- >You hear the sound of your alarm, droning on to let you know that it's time to get up, go to your shitty dead end job and speak to people that hate you.
- >You've never been this happy
- >Most days you were depressed, but not this day. This day was different, you could feel it to your core.
- >Today was your day for the taking
- >You spring out of bed turning off your alarm and checking the cupboard for some breakfast.
- "Silly me! I forgot I don't have any food!"
- >Talking to yourself you chuckle at the lack of food, remembering that you had to spend all of your money on last month's rent.
- >With a skip in your step you leave your apartment to be greeted by the landlord.
- >"Anonymous, you need to get your shit out of the apartment by 3pm or else I'm keeping it!" the landlord snaps.
- >You finish work at 5pm and you're running late.
- "Well then it looks like it's all yours! Enjoy!"
- >You offer a sincere smile to the land lord as you walk off
- >"IM NOT FUCKING JOKING!"
- "Neither am I!"
- >You arrive at your job, you work at a call centre for Dell computers.
- >Helping the idiots who don't even know how to turn on a damned computer.
- >you look at the clock on the wall, 09:06.
- >you walk to your desk and wait for the manager to come screaming at you for being six minutes late.
- >as if on cue the manager storms out of his office, eyes locked onto you.
- >Coffee in hand he march's right up to you, he's only an inch from your face.
- >"ANONYMOUS! WHAT TIME DO YOU CALL THIS!?"
- >You glance at the clock
- "Seven minutes Past Nine?" You're smile never fading
- >"SEVEN PAST NINE!? YOU'RE LATE! AGAIN! IF YOU'RE LATE ONE MORE TIME..."
- "Actually sir, I might be a little late tomorrow."
- >"DON'T YOU EVEN DARE, IF YOU'RE LATE TOMORROW, IT WONT BE YOUR JOB, IT'LL BE YOUR LIFE!"
- >You take some ironic humour from the situation and let out a small laugh
- >The manager is not impressed, his face turns a colour of red you didn't even know existed.
- >"FOR THAT IM DOCKING YOU A FULL DAYS PAY!"
- "Heh, why not make it a month's?"
- >His face contorts in pure rage, it amuses you to no end.
- >"HOW ABOUT I DO ONE BETTER!? YOU'RE FIRED! TAKE THE STUFF FROM YOUR DESK AND GO!"
- "You can have it. Also, Have a good day!"
- >You smile another sincere smile, this time at your Ex-Manager as you walk out of your old job.
- >Nothing is going to get you down today, you had a good feeling.
- >You look at the watch currently on your wrist.
- >This was the only thing that was going to pain you today.
- >It was the watch your dad had left you. Your dad... He was the only person in this world who truly cared for you.
- >Your heart aches a little bit for you know what you have to do next.
- >You step inside a pawn brokers and begin to haggle with the owner for the watch.
- >In the end the only things you can get for it are a pair of old hand cuffs and some cement mix.
- >You're a little disappointed although you perk up immediately, realizing that you've nearly got everything together.
- >you was hoping to get a little bit of money as well, although you still got what you needed.
- >You casually walk down the street.
- >Today, Everything was great.
- >You lost your job, your home, all of your possessions and the watch left to you by the only person who ever cared about you.
- >Yet you still walk on, a skip in your step, happy as can be.
- >You get lost in thought, before you even realize it, you're at the destination.
- >The lake.
- >You look down to your wrist to acquire the time.
- "Duh, no watch you silly billy."
- >It doesn't matter either way, you start to scope out the rocky shore of the lake.
- >you find a rock that will do perfectly.
- >With a smile still on your face you ready the cement mix with water from the lake
- >you put the handcuffs down onto the rock and start to apply the cement to the middle of the chain.
- >Meanwhile you're humming along to a poem your dad recited for you once when you was ill
- >"now I cast a hypnotic spell"
- >The cement dries and the cuff's are securely in place on the rock.
- >You jump into the old wooden row boat that's been at the side of the lake for years and row to the centre
- >"to free a child from its hell"
- >You place your hands into the cuffs and close them tight.
- >You're smile practically tearing your face apart at this point.
- >"Surrender now child, You're ill I can tell"
- >You throw the rock into the water and watch as it drags you to the bottom of the lake
- >Quickly you run out of air, pain rockets through your body. You're in an internal Conflict.
- >you're survival instincts are telling you to get out of the water, you're brain telling you to stay and accept the pool of darkness, washing over your being.
- >"Just come to me child..."
- >Your body stops convulsing at the lack of air and for the brief few second before the end of your life. You're at peace.
- >You feel one final wash of euphoria, before slipping into the welcoming abyss of nothingness.
- >"...and all will be well"
- >There is nothing
- >A pitch blackness consumes everything.
- >there is no up or down, no left or right. You don't have a body, you don't have any sensations at all.
- >This was pleasant.
- >if this was what being dead was like, you could get used to this.
- >That was until you see it.
- >A pinprick of light, appearing to get bigger and bigger.
- >eventually it engulfs all of your 'vision'
- >All at once you shoot up, gasping for air, soaking wet.
- >Your vision blurred although already your getting a sinking feeling.
- >"HimynamesPinkieyoumustbenewintownbecauseiknoweveryoneintownandi'veneverseenyouwhatsyournameinfactwhatareyouidon'tthinkyou'reagriffinbeca-"
- >you died and went to hell.
- >Shit.
- >your vision returns and you notice a pink demon bouncing around you.
- >upon closer inspection, it's not a demon but a pony... and it's still fucking talking.
- "So this is hell?"
- >the pink pony bounces up to your face.
- >"No you silly filly, this is Equestria"
- >What?
- "Sooo... I'm not dead?"
- >The pink pony snorts in laugher
- >"Of course not silly!"
- "but... How!?"
- >"I saw you in the lake and pulled you out!"
- >you glance over and notice the rock you used to kill yourself with discarded to the side of the lake.
- "So I'm alive?"
- >"Uh-Huh!"
- >That's when it hits you
- >The crippling depression that drove you to suicide in the first place
- >It hits you like an 18 ton truck, a truck that you would gladly jump in front of.
- >The pink pony gasps
- >"I should throw you a party so you can meet everyone! It'll be a welcome to ponyville.... err... What's your name?"
- >Resisting the urge to burst into tears at your failed attempt to finally have peace you manage to whimper your name.
- "Anonymous..."
