Chapter 1: Indoor voices

 

>You are Anonymous.

>Right now your feet feel like you were walking on the sun.

>You have been walking for about two straight days now.

>When you left from the small town that is riverwood you really had no destination in mind.

>You just wanted to get out all your life you have secluded from the outside world by being holed up in the one village.

>But today was the day you grew some balls and left.

>Thinking about it now it really wasn't such a good idea.

>You were prepared for the quest physically, but mentally doing this rustled you in places you didn't think you had.

>The only things you had packed for this trip was your dawnstar sword you received as a kid, a shield, about three potions of healing, and one potion of Magicka.

>Although you wouldn't call yourself a mage you were quite trained in the arcane arts.

 

>You glance at your map again before moving on.

>As you walk aimlessly in what you think is a circle you spot a cave.

>Normally you would casually walk past it but as you turned you swear you saw a glimmer of light come from it.

>It was then you decided to check this one cave out.

>As you walk in the cave you realize that most caves in skyrim have an interior the size of a castle maze and not one cave was just a little 10x10 cave with one or two bears in it.

>Your thoughts went away just as quickly as they came when you heard the sound of footsteps.

>It sounded like it was about three bandits walking in your direction.

>Thinking quickly you decided it was best not to just run at them swinging your sword, so you decide to be smart about this and use those spells that have been collecting dust in your head.

 

>You concentrate on a invisibility spell hoping it will kick in before the bandits come.

>Just as the spell activated the bandits walked in the room you were in.

>B1:"I swear man I heard someone come in here here".

>B2:"You're probably just hearing the wind blow from you hollow head".

>B3:"I don't care what he thinks he heard or what he actually heard we're still checking this place out".

>Just looking at those two guys fight leads you to believe that they weren't the sharpest tool in the shed.

>The three of them split up to go and find you.

>One of the bandits then get dangerously close to you so you back yourself up to a nice cozy corner so they have a hard time finding you.

>You've never felt more fear in youre life as one of the bandits say "hold on guys I have to pee"

>B3:"Just make it quick"

 

>The bandit walks up to your corner and takes his dick out.

"Not today motherfucker"

>B1:"Wha..."

>You take out your dawnstar and stab him under his chin.

>The bandit stands there for a moment,dick out and a sword sticking through his chin before falling down with a big THUMP!

>Both of the other bandits round the corner to meet your gaze

>B3:"Shouldn't have come here"

>The bandit lunges at you with his two handed sword.

>You try to block his attack but only to have you sword knocked away from your hands.

>He swings for a second time but you roll out of the way at the last second.

>You go on a full on sprint to reach sword but you stop to find the other bandit ready to stab you with his spear in your way.

>In one swift motion that would make all ninja around the world shudder you use his body as a vault and flip over him.

>As you grab your sword you can't help but to feel that some celestial being is watching over you.

>You look at your sword and realized it's glowing like never before, it looked like it was the sun.

>You feel an inexplicable energy pass through you as you give them a shit-eating grin that would make a princess stutter in her tracks.

 

Bandit 3's POV

>I'm a bandit and what is this?

>This kid looks no younger than 19 and he's beating us.

>Two minutes ago I had him at the palm of my hand and now this

>His sword is glowing brighter than a flashlight in Battlefield 3

>His eyes were now a vibrant shade of purple that were completely unfamiliar to your eyes.

>He looked possessed...

>No, he looked... enlightened.

 

Anon's POV

>You thought of hundreds of possibilities of what would happen and the consequences.

>With this new knowledge you charge.

>You block it only to have your shield pierced by it.

>You discard your shield pick your pace.

>He throws another spear at you but still keeping your speed you expertly duck under the incoming spear and sprint.

>You then jump and stab him in the area between his shoulder.

>Letting go of your sword you walk to the other bandit who has stopped in his tracks like a deer in headlights.

 

>With your eyes hurting you feel under them to find you are bleeding.

>You shrug it off and continue.

>The final bandit throws his sword and hits you in the shoulder.

>You don't even stagger and ignore the wound as you felt little pain and it felt like an ant bit you.

>The bandit, now scared shitless, falls to a knee.

>You pick him up by the neck and bring him up to where he can't even touch the ground.

>B3:"What are you"?

>Your eyes now in avatar mode glows brighter.

 

>Your voice now having multiple voices answers him.

>To the bandit he sounded like everyone he ever killed or robbed was now speaking at the same time.

>To you it was everyone you ever cared about your mom, your distant dad.

>Everyone you ever love now talked through you.

"I am the land, I am the sky, I am the moon, I am the sun, I am harmony, I am chaos,...

>Your voice now booms as though you hit the caps lock with the force of a thousand lumberjacks.

>The bandit tries to cover his now bleeding eardrums but fails.

"I AM DRAGON BORN"

>You slam his head into the stone ground cracking it and leaving a head sized crater.

>You blink and your eyes are their normal brown hue and the divine energy you felt is gone.

 

>You had no recollection of what the hell just happened.

>The last thing you remember is having you sword knocked away from you.

>You look to the ground to see the bandit stuck in the ground and turn around to see the second one lying in a pool of blood.

>You turn to leave the cave with a sense of who you are.

>...Dragon born...

>The word kept ringing in your head.

>You had read about it somewhere.

>It was someone born with the soul of a dragon.

>You walk to the stabbed bandit and take dawnstar.

>You also notice something strange

> Every time you would think of the word dragon born two other words popped up as well one was the word: Dovahkiin.

>You didn't know what the word meant so you shrugged it off.

>The other word was OD AH VIING, you knew it would call someone but you didn't know who.

>As you walk out of the cave you knew for once in your life...

>You knew what to do.

 

\Elsewhere/

>???:"Sister stop you do not have to help him, he has done nothing for you yet you still save him!

>Visibly straining she continued ignoring the worried cries of her sister.

>Now at her breaking point she falls down.

>???:"Princess!"

>The guard helps her up.

>???:"It is okay shining I am fine"

>Shining:"You shouldn't stress yourself to hard over something so useless."

>The princess now fuming let's her actual voice free.

>Princess:"WHAT MAY BE USELESS TO YOU IS TREASURED BY ME AND IT WOULD WISE TO NOT GO AGAINST MY JUDGEMENT."

 

\Back in Skyrim/

>It has been five years since the 'event'.

>The words that haunted your mind were actually words in dragon language.

>You never bothered with them.

>You even learned four new words: FUS RO DAH(Unrelenting force), LAAS YAH NIIR(Aura Whisper), KAAN DREM OV(Kyne's Peace), and LOK VAH KOOR(Clear Skies).

>You've never said it fearing what might happen.

>You Anonymous, son of the last dragon born, afraid of words!

>Years ago you would've laughed, but now times have change.

>You have matured and have grown into a warrior.

 

>Now you were fetching something called an 'elder scroll' for the jarl like a good little dragon born.

>He said it was of utmost importance

"utmost importance my ass"

>You arrive at the destination.

>You realize this really must be important when the place housing the scroll was actually a really intricate temple.

>You step inside expecting traps and bandits up the wazoo.

>But to your surprise no one was there.

>There weren't even any traps.

>Just an altar.

>On the altar was a slab with the words "Only the one with chosen blood may traverse"

 

>Instantly realizing what this was you cut across your palm and squeeze blood into the bowl balancing on the alter.

>If there is one thing you learned in your years of adventuring was that dragon born were the VIP's of the world.

>Once the bowl fills your blood glows and the bowl returns to its previous state as it drains.

>Once the bowl drains a hallway opens in front of you and the door shuts behind

>You get the nagging feeling that you aren't leaving this place any time soon.

>You walk down the hallway to see a fairly large scroll resting on a pedestal.

>You pick up the scroll only to hear the door shut behind you.

>You sigh and sit down taking out the scroll and looking at it.

"Well I'm not going anywhere anytime soon"

>You open the scroll and look at its contents.

 

>It was a map of the universe.

>But one place caught your eye it was glowing more than the other planets on the scroll.

>Satisfying your curiosity you poke the glowing planet

>Then it happened.

>The same energy that you felt years ago had possessed you once again.

>But this time it felt different, it felt better...like instead of doing things for you, it was taking you somewhere like a small child telling you where to go by tugging on your arm.

>You look at your arm and see that you are disintegrating by pixel

>It didn't feel like anything so you accepted it.

>You didn't know if you just accepted it because with your growth you also mature and learned not to freak out at everything.

>or because this shit wasn't new to you, in fact something supernatural like this happens about every other day.

>Whatever this is you stand up take your sword and everything you had and say a last goodbye to this world.

>As your body starts to slowly disappear you wonder if anyone will miss you, because when you weren't saving people you were kind of an ass.

>As the last of your body start to disappear you wonder were you would go.

>Little did you know a new adventure was about to start.
