Traits: Traits follow a dice set like so d4 being the lowest, and d12 being the highest: d4 d6 d8 d10 d12 All players begin with all their traits being d4 and have five points to put into each of them, raising them by one die type (example: d4 to d6) The five traits: Agility (How fast your character moves) Smarts (How smart our character is) Spirit (How much willpower your character) Strength (How stronk your character is) Vigor (Your character's endurance) Skills: Players start with 15 points to put into skills, unlike traits though, players must spend one point to earn the lowest die (d4) of that skill, Those skills cannot be raised higher than the skills they attribute to. Skills (Agility): Boating Driving Fighting Lockpicking Piloting Riding Shooting Stealth Swimming Throwing Skills (Smarts): Gambling Healing Investigation Knowledge Notice Repair Streetwise Survival Taunt Tracking Skills (Strength): Climbing Skills (Spirit): Intimidation Persuasion Skills are used by adding the trait die with the skill die. (Example: If the players agility trait is at d8, and her Fighting skill is at d4. The roll would be 1d8+1d4) Charisma: Charisma is how NPCs view your character. It starts at 0 and is only modified by Edges and Hinderances. Parry is how well you can block enemy melee attacks it is two plus half your fighting skill die(edited) Toughness is basically your HP and how many hits you can take it is 2 plus half your character's Vigor die Hinderances & Edges: Similar to feats from pathfinder, Edges are special talents your character has. Each character starts with a single Edge. You can also earn more Edges by taking Hinderances, which are drawbacks to your character, they come in two forms: Major and Minor. Major give you two points while Minor give you one. For 2 points you can raise a trait by one die type or gain another edge For 1 point you can gain a skill point or gain more starting money   Hinderances: All thumbs (Minor) Anemic (Minor) Arrogant (Major) Bad Eyes (Can be Major or Minor) Bad Luck (Major) Big Mouth (Minor) Blind (Major) Bloodthirsty (Major) Cautious (Minor) Clueless (Major) Code of Honor (Major) Curious (Major) Death Wish (Minor) Delusional (Minor or Major) Doubting Thomas (Minor) Elderly (Major) Enemy (Minor or Major) Greedy (Minor or Major) Habit (Minor or Major) Hard of Hearing (Minor or Major) Heroic (Major) Illiterate (Minor) Lame (Major) Loyal (Minor) Mean (Minor) Obese (Minor) One Arm (Major) One Eye (Major) One Leg (Major) Outsider (Minor) Overconfident (Major) Pacifist (Minor or Major) Phobia (Minor or Major) Poverty (Minor) Quirk (Minor) Small (Major) Stubborn (Minor) Ugly (Minor) Vengeful (Minor or Major) Vow (Minor or Major) Wanted (Minor or Major) Yellow (Major) Young (Major)   Deadlands Hinderances: Ailin' (Minor or Major) Bad Dreams (Major) Grim Servant o' Death (Major) Slowpoke (Minor) Heavy Sleeper (Minor) Lyin' Eyes (Minor) Old Ways Oath (Major) Wanted (Minor or Major) Tenderfoot (Minor) Thin Skinned (Major)   Edges:   Background: Alertness Ambidextrous Arcane Background Arcane Resistance >Improved Arcane Resistance Attractive >Very Attractive Berserk Brave Brawny Fast Healer Fleet-Footed Linguist Luck >Great Luck Noble Rich >Filthy Rich Quick   Deadlands Background Edges: Arcane Background (Magic) Arcane Background (Miracles) Arcane Background (Weird Science) Arcane Background (Shamanism) Veteran o’ the Weird West Arcane Background (Chi Mastery)   Combat: Block >Improved Block Brawler >Bruiser Etan Extraction >Improved Extraction First Strike >Improved First Strike Florentine Frenzy >Improved Frenzy Counterattack >Improved Counterattack Dodge >Improved Dodge Giant Killer Hard to Kill >Harder to Kill Improvisational Fighter Killer Instinct Level Headed >Improved Level Headed Marksman Martial Artist >Improved Martial Artist Nerves of Steel >Improved Nerves of Steel No Mercy Quick Draw Rock and Roll!
