" Not really, but I always enjoy when I do." > She glances at you without moving her head. > "How so?" "I just..." > You cut yourself off and close your eyes.   > How can you explain it? > You probably shouldn't try, you'll spit out some half-assed poetic bullshit. > Just tell her it isn't important. > You turn to her planning on doing that, but stop when you see she is looking at you. > Her eyes are full of curiosity. > You look back out the window again and take a breath.   "I feel really safe I guess." > Luna giggles softly at that. > "Often people say they are afraid of the dark." "I guess you saw through my facade, I'm far from normal." > You both smile, but she keeps looking at you expectantly.   > It makes you feel a bit conflicted really. > It's a pointless conversation with someone -- your better -- you don't even know; you're frustrated. > It's a strange question with someone who could ruin your life with a single penstroke; you're scared. > It's a question that's just a question; it's been forever since you simply talked with someone about simple things, just being a person with another person. > It's nice.   "During the day I'm just a janitor; everyone can see it. The sunlight makes it blindly clear. But during the night-" > You rest your forehead against the window. "The moonlight is there, and it is soft to touch and gentle to see. People can see me and I can see them, but without the bright sun the need for posturing and pretending dissapears, and I can make of myself whatever I want to be. There is no radiance to tell me who I am, and no sun to burn me for flying too high."   > Your words dissapate into the silent room, and the sound of rain soon picks up. > Still you both look outside even as the moon dissapears behind the heavy clouds. > "You make the night sound wonderful, Anon. It is pleasant to hear such sentiment."   + Post 19 + http://i.imgur.com/F0DaIKI.jpg +   > The two of you watch the streelamp lit rain. > Luna is utterly serene. > So are you, now that you think about it. > Or were, now that you noticed your own calm it starts to fade. > You try to think of something to say.   "Did you sleep well?" > "Yes, actually. It was quite refreshing, especially the dreams. Did you?" " Me?" > Ofcourse you'd screw up whatever that nice moment was with your mouth. > Couldn't just keep quiet and enjoy, thanks hyper-activity. "I haven't had a dream in a long time, but the sleep was good enough."   > Luna blinks and looks at you in suprise, her brow heavy with concern. > Or was it anger? > Regardless the intensity of expression makes you stutter. "I-it's nothing really, j-just a side-effect of one of the medicines I take" > "Nothing? Anon..."   > Unease builds between the two of you. > Luna's mouth hangs half-open; she struggles to find the words to say. > When she realizes how tense things became, she turns around. > "That... That is unfortunate." > Your heart is racing, so much you rest a hand on your left breast. > For a second you thought she was going to explode or start screaming.   > Soonafter she excuses herself to your shower. > Leaving you alone to fall onto your couch, your hands planted firmly on your face as you lay down. > What. > The. > Hell. > Its hard to put into words -- to yourself even -- how frusterated you are. > You pull grab a pillow and stuff it ontop of your face, growling while you stomp into the cushions. > The growling lasts until your short of breath, then you simply toss the pillow onto the ground.   > Good job pissing your boss off. > Good job pissing someone that you actually enjoyed -even if it was for just a moment- talking to. > Good job pissing off a beautiful woman. > Beautiful woman. > You hit your head with a palm, repeatedly. > That must be it, you fucking said something stupid because of your hormones. > Idiot. > Stupid stupid stupid   + Post 20 + http://i.imgur.com/OJ1JCJl.gif +   > You are Celestia, sitting on the edge of the bed Anon has given to you. > Luna is sitting next to you, her head hung low and still damp hair hanging straight. > The entire ordeal has been stressful on her. > You rub her back.   > She is your sister, and one that you still feel guilty over. > It was tiring to see her so upset, but understandable. > You'll just have to support her until she learns not to be so close so quickly.   > "It is simply... Difficult to accept." "The lack of dreams?" > You did't want to go back to that topic, but she shakes her head and gives you an ambivalent grin. > "No, just having to hide Ourselves." > You return the grin. > You feel the same. "I hate it as much as you do, but we have to."   > Luna nods. > She also growls. > Or rather her stomach does. > She winces and gets up, walking to the door. > You laugh.   > "Stop that at once!" > Luna stammers, spinning around mid step and stomping. > Your stomach growls in response. > Your smile grows wider. > "What are you smiling about? Do you think we are funny starving like this?" > You shake your head. > "Then why do you smile so?"   "Because I found a silver lining." > Your sister opens her mouth, then clsoes it with a shake of her head. > "What do you mean, what sort of silver lining is there for us in this turn of events?" > You get up and walk towards your sister, taking her hands and holding them. "Because we're able to talk like this again, like sisters." > You see her eyes clear of anger as understanding sets in. > "That... Is true. It has been long since we have consorted as such."   > Luna giggles for herself this time. > You tilt your head in response. > "We should imagine this a vacation then, one much needed." > You almost speak in agreement.   > A loud noise interupts you before you can. > A thump, proceeded by a string of explictives. > The voice clearly belongs to Anon. > Both you and your sister hurry to see what the ruckus is about.
