- "Fuck the guards," you yell at Luna.
- >Tears streamed down her face, a part of you felt some kind of pain seeing this.
- >"I'm sorry! There's nothing I can do!"
- "Nothing you could do? Your Celestia's sister for fucks sake," your anger started to wane.
- >Fear started to set in, replacing the rage that had just occupied your chest.
- >You turn to Luna, she's looking down at the floor, one or two tears had found there way to the floor.
- >You hugged her, try to console her and keep yourself calm.
- >Funny how such a simple thing could settle you down.
- "I didn't mean to yell at you, it's not your fault at all."
- >She nuzzles your shoulder a little.
- "There's nothing that can be done?"
- >You already knew the answer.
- >Memories of the past months flash across your mind.
- >Rolling around in the sheets with Luna, spending time gazing at the moon with her at night, walks in the grassy courts of the castle.
- >She was actually the first thing you actually loved, and now all the happiness you found will be snatched from you.
- >A knock came at the door, you bolted up, fear tingling your spine.
- >Two gold armored ponies stood there, Celestia between them.
- >She looked neither sad, nor pleased.
- >Celestia had the power to overrule this, but she hadn't.
- >You brush back your hair, you couldn't bear looking back at Luna, if you did you wouldn't be able to bring yourself to leave.
- >Her hoof touches your back, you just brush her off, the emotions almost blocks your air way.
- >They take you down to the edge of Canterlot, where a carriage awaits.
- >Luna and Celestia board, a guard pushes you in, you make sure to keep your head down.
- >You couldn't look at her, you just couldn't
- >They bind your hands before the carriage starts moving, for whatever good that does.
- >It's a long trip, you glance up once, just to see that beautiful mare again, and of course, memories flood your mind.
- >It gives you some measure of peace to review all those happy times.
- >But your happy delusion is broken the carriage coming to a rough stop.
- >A guard forces you out.
- >A lifeless waste is the only thing that could be seen in every direction, you spot the castle in the distance behind you.
- >It's so small.
- >The guard removes your binds.
- >Luna looks at you with two fearful eyes.
- >You try to lean in for one last kiss, but Celestia creates some sort of magical barrier
- >"Cel-," Luna starts.
- >"No. You have a long journey, start walking," Celestia says with a booming voice.
- >You look down at the guard, he nods.
- >"WALK!" Celestia yells.
- >So you do.
- >You walk a few steps before swirling around, Luna is looking at you, the other two had already gotten in the carriage.
- "I love you," you call, she turns for a second, probably crying.
- >"I l-,"
- >Celestia comes from the cart, "We must leave now, Luna."
- >You slump to your knees as the cart pulls away.
- >It felt like being crushed from the inside, tossed away like a crumbled scrap of paper
- >You could try and follow them, but they would be going too fast.
- >Even if you made it back to civilization, you'd be a wanted criminal.
- >You lay down in the cracked, dry expanse of the Western Lands.
- >You pretend the warm sun scorching your skin is just Luna's warm embrace.
- >You raise your hands to the sky, saying your goodbyes to those that will never hear them.
- >It won't be a quick or painless experience.
