  1. >You strolled down Divider street, dark clouds still hung over the city.
  2. >Ponies gave you looks as you past, probably sizing you up to see if you were Daniel.
  3. >You think about how Twilight was so stressed, her hair was a mess and she kept fumbling with the easiest spells.
  4. >On the street you could feel the tension between everyone.
  5. >Maybe it wasn't tension for them, maybe it was the feeling of change.
  6. >As you approached a diner, hoping to pick up some breakfast for yourself and Twilight, you see a small gathering of ponies.
  7. >You lean up against a wall, a short distance away from them, listening in.
  8. >A unicorn stood on a platform above a small group of maybe a dozen ponies, behind the stallion there was a poster.
  9. >It was pop art style, and depicted an angry looking Earth pony, block letters read "Free yourself".
  10. >"Celestia's machine has herded us for long enough. Free yourself from her oppressive laws and taxes, free yourself from her rule. There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious that you must not allow it to continue. You can't take part in the process, even passively, do not stand by as your life is controlled by Celestia and her regime!" the unicorn bellowed, to which the group shouted as much as they could, a few joined off the streets.
  11. >He kept talking, more ponies joining the group, slowly but steadily.
  12. >His words were familiar, you felt they were conveyed to him, they were not at all his original words.
  13. >You returned to the hotel room, food in hand.
  14. >She perks up at your return, a newspaper in her hoof.
  15. >"Read this," she gets up from her seat and claims the small paper bag in your hand.
  16. >Looking over the front page dread fills you again.
  17. >A black and white picture depicts a group of ponies, clad in the traditional golden plate armor of Celestia's guard, clashing with another group of ranchers and citizens.
  18. >The headline below reads "Appaloosa riots", you quickly skim the article.
  19. >"Ranchers and farmer owners in the town of Appaloosa gathered in front their town hall yesterday, protesting the introduction of new land taxes, and laws limiting their expansion into buffalo territory. The towns police force reacted with violent force, many of the protesting ranchers were killed, many more were injured."
  20. You turn to see Twilight greedily hounding down the small pie you bought. "What do we do? I mean, what can we do? Just outside I saw another group of ponies, gathering around to hear a unicorn preach about revolution."
  21. >She wipes the crumbs from her mouth. "I don't know, but this is going to get worse before it gets better."
  22. "I don't know any way Celestia could hold together her empire for much longer," you say, claiming your breakfast before Twilight eats it.
  23. >"Don't say that."
  24. "Is it not inevitable?"
  25. >She gives you a look of anger, but you think she realizes it as well. Hours pass, you and Twilight exchanging ideas and information.
  26. >You both come up with many ideas on how these riots could be avoided, but none of the them seem plausible.
  27. >Late in the day, around sunset a knock came at the door.
  28. >Apprehensively you answer it, Twilight staying in her spot on the bed.
  29. "Who is it?" you call, not opening the door.
  30. >"Are you the other human," there was a pause. "Name is Anonymous?"
  31. >You glance back at Twilight, she was perked up in surprise.
  32. >The voice at the door didn't belong to Daniel, it was gruff and hoarse, nothing like the revolutionist's smooth tone.
  33. >You unlock the door, an unamused looking Earth pony stood there.
  34. "Yeah that's me."
  35. >"Daniel would like to talk to you, at your earliest convenience."
  36. "Okay," you respond, feeling awkward.
  37. >The pony gives you directions to Daniel's high rise apartment, saying you could stop by anytime day or night.
  38. >Without a goodbye he was gone, leaving you confused.
  39. "What would he want with me?" you ask Twilight, who began pacing.
  40. >"I don't know for sure, but he could be luring you into a trap."
  41. "To what end?"
  42. >"To cut the other human out of the picture? Perhaps using that as a way of securing his position as leader?"
  43. "We have to go there."
  44. >"No! It's a trap, wait, maybe we could convince him to stop the protests?"
  45. >It was unlikely that they could sway him to cease his rallies.
  46. >Even if they did, there were dozens of other ponies who could take his place, just like that unicorn from this morning.
  47. >But you weren't going to say that, this was probably the only way to get her to let you go.
  48. >Twilight and you get yourselves ready and were out by nightfall.
  49. >The streets were empty and quiet, but the air crackled with tension.
  50. >You say a gold armored unicorn placing a public notice over one of the "Free yourself" posters, you could only make out the large block letters on the top which read "Edict Amendments".
  51. >the short walk to the high rise Daniel lived in was uneventful.
  52. >It was a huge building, the largest for quite a distance.
  53. >The lobby was red carpeted and lit by expensive glass chandeliers.
  54. >Hid apartment was pretty high up, and when you got there neither you or Twilight had the nerve to knock.
  55. >"You do it." she said, pushing your back a little.
  56. "Fin-," you look to the door, which was already open.
  57. >A smiling man standing there, naked.
  58. >In the background there was a pale turquoise colored mare, covering herself with a sheet, her gold and blonde mane was incredible messy.
  59. >Her wings stick out on either side, fully erect.
  60. >She blushed and hid herself under a quilt.
  61. >"Excuse me, allow me to dress myself, come in have a seat at the table there," he gestured at the table just behind him.
  62. >Daniel collected the clothes strewn around the apartment and dressed himself in front of them, not a hint of shame on his face.
  63. >"Would you like a drink?"
  64. >"No, thank you." Twilight said immediately, he gave her a devilish grin, to which she looked away.
  65. >"Dust, I'll be awhile. Do you mind?" Daniel called to the pegasus inside.
  66. >"Don't be too long." you hear from inside, the voice sounded a little muffled.
  67. >"Well to business now. Did that messenger tell you why I sent for you?"
  68. "No, he only told me to come by," you say, you notice there's a gash on the table.
  69. >"Alright. As you may know, I only want the very best for the ponies in this fine world we've been brought too. And you may have heard about the work I'm doing here, helping these hardworking ponies free themselves from the monarchies we abandoned years ago."
  70. >You could name several countries on Earth that still had a king, queen, or was ruled by some type of monarch.
  71. >But you said nothing, there was something dangerous in his eyes that made you hold your tongue. >When neither you or Twilight responded he continued.
  72. >"I wanted to know if you, and maybe your pony friend here," he gave Twilight a hungry look, "Would like to join me and my supporters in changing how this land is run."
  73. >You no longer had any interest in meeting Daniel, in fact you wanted to leave right now.
  74. >Twilight spoke up before you could respond. "No, we will not."
  75. >It didn't show on his face but anger seemed to be surfacing in his actions, he poured himself a drink and downed it.
  76. >"Then allow me to show you to the door."
  77. "Daniel, wait, don't you realize the repercussions of what you're doing. If you topple Celestia's government Equestria will be without leadership, the whole land will collapse into anarchy." you say, you stand up and walk yo him, trying to able some sort of pressure.
  78. >He leans in and whispers, "I know, I know all of the possibilities. Leave now."
  79. >Twilight was already at the door, you join her, not looking back at Daniel.
  80. >You shut the door behind you, quickly heading back into the streets.
  81. >"What did he say to you?"
  82. "He knows what he's doing. He doesn't care either. We have to leave, we have to go see Celestia."
  83. >"There's bound to be a train still waiting at the station," Twilight starts off on the way of the hotel.
  84. >A block away from the hotel, you're met with a huge gathering of ponies.
  85. >The crowd was marching up Divider street, chanting revolutionist slogans.
  86. >You and Twilight were stuck in a side street, blocked off from the hotel by the raging ponies.
  87. >You peek over to see what was going on.
  88. >In the distance a small group of maybe twenty of the golden armored stallions you saw before stood in the path of the crowd.
  89. >They looked nervous, inching back as the horde of citizens came closer.
  90. >The group stopped, a unicorn came forward.
  91. >It was the same one from this morning. "What are you here for?" To put down more protests?"
  92. >A pegasus came forward, trying to hold a commanding voice. "We have come to implement the amendments to Celestia's edicts," the scared guard said, his voice wavering.
  93. >He reached into his saddle bag, pulling out a small stack of papers. "We're to post these around the city, and to remove anything or anyone that may support those against our majesty, Celestia."
  94. >It was quiet for several seconds, the pegasus seemed to relax a bit.
  95. >"Buck off," someone in the crowd shouted.
  96. >A stone flew through the air, knocking the pegasus on the head, the pony fell to the wet cobble below. the mass began to roar, charging the small squad of guards.
  97. >There was no way to get to the hotel, you and Twilight were forced to join the violent congregation in their stampede.
  98. >Without thinking you scooped up Twilight and attempted to run with the mass, hoping you'd make it to the station.
  99. >You almost trip on the trampled corpses of several of the guards.
  100. >But you press on, making it to the train station without much trouble.
  101. >You place down Twilight, turning to see the raging mass had gone in several directions.
  102. >"We have to leave right now," she says, trying to break you from your daze.
  103. >You have just enough bits for two train tickets, and it was the last trip for the night.
  104. >No other ponies were at the station, so you and Twilight were once again on the train alone.
  105. >"We hardly got out of there alive," Twilight buried her head in your side.
  106. "If riots like that are going on all over Equestria how has Celestia not taken serious action. And doesn't she know creating more laws will just further fuel Daniel's efforts? We have to go see her, I need to know what the hell she's doing."
  107. >"We should go to Ponyville first, I hope things haven't gotten bad there."
  108. "Right," you say, looking down at Twilight.
  109. >She puts her head in your lap again, whispering. "Anonymous?"
  110. "Yeah?"
  111. >"I'm scared."
  112. "It's going to get better," you stroke your mane. But fear had already found it's place in your mind.
  113.
  114.
  115.
  116.
  117. Unknown ~
  118.
  119. >A day has past since those guards were killed, right here in Manehattan.
  120. >Law enforcement was too scared to do anything about it, or were on the revolutionist's side.
  121. >Unknown walked down the dark streets of Manehattan, on the prowl for another lover or maybe something to eat, after that great night and pleasant morning with Lightening Dust he felt like he needed to try something new.
  122. >He spotted a stallion, an Earth pony with a light brown coat, and a spiky darker brown mane and tail.
  123. >Unknown eyed an hourglass on his flank, which was strange.
  124. >He walked over to the stallion, who became excited when he introduced himself.
  125. >Unknown offered the pony, Time Turner, to join him upstairs for a drink.
  126. >Turner agreed with no hesitation.
  127. >Unknown had many great nights and pleasant mornings with men, but it always felt off.
  128. >This time on the other hand, it was going to be different.
  129. "The mares here are pretty amazing, eh?" Unknown inquired, testing the water.
  130. >"Yes! I just moved here from Ponyville not a week ago, and I've already met so many amazing mares, and now I'm here with Unknown, it's been the best time of my life."
  131. >Even after many drinks it was getting nowhere.
  132. >But Unknown needed this, this was the one that would set him back on his throne. "Let's try something."
  133. >"What?" Turner looked heavily intoxicated, and may have lost control of his inhibitions.
  134. >Unknown led him to the bedroom, directing him to lay on the bed.
  135. >Turner did it without question, Unknown got on next to him.
  136. >Immediately he pressed his lips to Turner's, when the stallion didn't break it off, unknown held the back of his head, continuing to kiss the pony.
  137. >He wanted to make Turner as comfortable, so Unknown shared breath with him to make it feel familiar.
  138. >This went of for awhile, both of them going at each other, no one pulling back.
  139. >Eventually however he asked Turner to go up against the wall, he quivered in fear and nervousness.
  140. >He couldn't help but admire the stallion's rear as he spread his hind legs, his forelegs up against the wall.
  141. >The stallion kept looking back, Unknown saw he didn't look like he wanted this to happen.
  142. >But maybe he would grow to like it?
  143. >Unknown saw the stallion was already stiff, every now and again the tip of his member would hit the cold wood of the headboard.
  144. >Unknown undressed quickly and in moments had his cock firmly placed in the stallion.
  145. >He thrust into the stallion again, a grunt of pain coming from his mate.
  146. >It was fairly quick, and he was sated after the first run, and so was the stallion.
  147. >The two lay together, Unknown trying to kiss the stallion again, but he seemed to back away. What did he do wrong?
  148. >Turner didn't seem to mind having him nibble on his ear playfully, or when he came close to Turner, holding his warm body to his cold chest.
  149. >Unknown was oblivious to the looks of desperation and unease on Turner's face.
  150. >Somehow he fell asleep, awaking with sun pouring in on him from the window.
  151. >Time Turner was gone.
  152. >Unknown was laying next to a cold empty space on the bed.
  153. >He had fucked up.
  154. >He fell asleep.
  155. >Turner probably thought it was rude and left.
  156. >He got up, a red brew boiling in his chest, fists clenched.
  157. >He had been left.
  158. >Abandoned. So empty, and cold.
  159. >No one was in control.
  160. >His rage accumulated into a single punch, he was left with a large hole in the wall, and an aching hand.
  161. >Why did Turner leave?
  162. >Everyone likes Unknown.
  163. >They wouldn't just leave.
  164. >Everyone thought he was attractive.
  165. >They wouldn't just leave.
  166. >Everyone thought Unknown was great.
  167. >They wouldn't just leave. No one could leave.
