Title: Entitlement pt 2 Author: SonsOfLulz Pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/3d3cd3YJ First Edit: Tuesday 27th of August 2013 09:09:55 PM CDT Last Edit: Tuesday 27th of August 2013 09:09:55 PM CDT [9:08:29 PM] Druox: Shit's real simple, bro:  The ad sense program is a program created so content creators could use the content they love to create to provide an extra income source for them.  I, and countless others, prefer to use this income to improve our equipment and thus improve our content for the people who enjoy it.  I have an irl job, which is too inconveneient for your logic to factor into the equation, and this irl job is crap.  i don't get any hours at it because the economy doesn't allow the company to give me better hours, and if i'm barely even fucking working there how the fuck could I expect any kind of advancement?  So I use that money to pay for the student loans I have, and usually food I want to eat.  youtube/Newgrounds money is all put towards improving my content, or furthering my career in the entertainment industry, another thing you conveniently forgot about me, especially:  i went to school to create content like what i do.  i went to college to learn to record sound, sound design, edit videos, sync sound to videos, and help produce creative content of all kids that involve sound.  ONTOP of all that, you people want to hold people up to some kind of standard, like if you don't use a capture card for let's plays, or a screen capturing software, which both cost money, in case you forgot, your videos are inferior.  So that requires people to put money into what they make, this means they NEED to make money when they make things, or they're going to get to a point where what they make can't be sustained anymore.  you want to bring up "do something that'll last longer than youtube" well, wanna know why shit on youtube doesn't last?  because of ignorant pieces of shit like you who want to play both sides of the fucking fence where you want more and more budget to be spent on the shit you're watching to improve its quality, and yet you frown upon people for wanting/needing money to afford said budget you ungrateful idiots require to find anything they make worth while.  It's a shit doublestandard only a bunch of morons like you people we like to dehumanize as "fans" are capable of sustaining.  So I repeat:  If you don't want to support people in the content that they make:  Don't fucking watch it, and don't demand anything.  make some shitty crap on your own to look at by yourself, since that's all you seem to care enough to watch on your own.  It costs money to libve, and it costs more money to entertain.  Entertainment is a business, what's why it's the entertainment INDUSTRY.  One of the only things independant entertainers and creators can use to make any money at all is using ad space to get a regular sum of money sent to them to help them sustain what they're doing.  You take that away, then all you'll be watching are things cound by way-stronger copyrights.  Good luck finding a royalty free service for any kind of content if you destroy the ability for people to put ads on the fucking pafge they post it on.  Good luck finding free videos to watch in your leisure when you decided to go through with destroying the ads that are WAY shorter than TV ads that come before/after the video because you can't figure out what to do with yourself for 30 seconds.  you're also making it so the only way to publicise any kind of video content will be on TV exclusively, and there will be 0 profit on the internet to be had by anyone.  Another strong point you are too ignorant to understand is going on with your shitty usage of a program like that.  This isn't me saying "I'm an artist, it's my money" it's you people saying, "we want more content from everyone and more ways to watch it, but don't want to support it at all in any way shape or form, especially with money because we're entitled to it, and don't have to give you anything back."
