Knights of Sloth
“Time, and Life are as the River, moving, and crystal. We are the Dam that halts that Sad Struggling Stream.”
The Knights of Sloth are envoys, and ghosts. They are pulled, and directed like puppets to the Absent-Will, the patron of Entropy, and bringer of the End Of All Things. Sloth knights are the least common among the ranks of Disharmony, but by no means are they the weakest order. Defectors of Harmony who succumb to the Absent-Will are generally those whom were betrayed, gave up on something imperative, or simply despite all for the sake of despite. With no regard for themselves or the ways of others Sloth Knights are generally completely devoid of emotion, they are drained, and generally the longer one is a servant of the Order, the more difficult it is to recover, like it wasn't hard enough recovering from disharmony. Sloth Knights are notorious sleeper agents unconsciously flawing the perfect design of others until all that remains is the fragile skeleton of what once was as close to nothing as something can be without truly being an utter nothing. A Sloth Knight leaves it's victim so helpless that when it all ends nothing comes crashing down for there was nothing, no lies, no games only dust to be scattered in the passing wind. While quite literal, and poetic the Sloth Knight is famous for their Eternal Patience, and ability to turn things to dust both literally, and metaphorically. Simply being in the order makes the need to impose ones own will seem less, and less important until all that remains of the initiate is a hollow shell ready to be thrown about, and become a vessel to the will of their oncoming universal apocalypse known as Entropy. A Sloth knights purpose is to bring a halt to all things, and show others the folly of their belief. To show all beings how much easier it would be to just stop.
