  46. their varied nature.
  47. =========================================================================================================
  48. Medium:
  49. Humans are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
  50. =========================================================================================================
  51. Normal Speed:
  52. Humans have a base speed of 30 feet.
  53. =========================================================================================================
  54. Bonus Feat:
  55. Humans select one extra feat at 1st level.
  56. =========================================================================================================
  57. Skilled:
  58. Humans gain an additional skill rank at first level and one additional rank whenever they gain a level.
  59. =========================================================================================================
  60. Languages:
  61. Humans begin play speaking Common. Humans with high Intelligence scores can choose any languages they want (except secret languages, such as Druidic).
  62. =========================================================================================================
  63.
  64. Weapon and Armor Proficiency:
  65. Rogues are proficient with all simple weapons, plus the hand crossbow, rapier, sap, shortbow, and short sword. They are proficient with light armor, but not with shields.
  66.
  67. Sneaky Attack:
  68. If a rogue can catch an opponent when he is unable to defend himself effectively from her attack, she can strike a vital spot for extra damage.
  69.
  70. The rogue's attack deals extra damage (called "precision damage") anytime her target would be denied a Dexterity bonus to AC (whether the target actually has a Dexterity bonus or not), or when the rogue flanks her target. This extra damage is 1d6 at 1st level, and increases by 1d6 every two rogue levels thereafter. Should the rogue score a critical hit with a sneak attack, this extra damage is not multiplied. Ranged attacks can count as sneak attacks only if the target is within 30 feet.
  71.
  72. With a weapon that deals nonlethal damage (like a sap, whip, or an unarmed strike), a rogue can make a sneak attack that deals nonlethal damage instead of lethal damage. She cannot use a weapon that deals lethal damage to deal nonlethal damage in a sneak attack, not even with the usual –4 penalty.
  73.
  74. The rogue must be able to see the target well enough to pick out a vital spot and must be able to reach such a spot. A rogue cannot sneak attack while striking a creature with concealment.
  75.
  76. Trapfinding:
  77. A rogue adds 1/2 her level to Perception skill checks made to locate traps and to Disable Device skill checks (minimum +1). A rogue can use Disable Device to disarm magic traps.
  78.
  79. Familiar(Dwarf Caiman)
  80. At 1st level, a carnivalist gains a familiar as a wizard of equal level. Levels in a class that grants a familiar stack with carnivalist levels for determining the familiar's abilities.

  87.
  88. Alertness(Only while Nibbles is near):
  89. You often notice things that others might miss.
  90. Benefit: You get a +2 bonus on Perception and Sense Motive skill checks. If you have 10 or more ranks in one of these skills, the bonus increases to +4 for that skill.

  92. Point-Blank Shot* — +1 attack and damage on targets within 30 feet
  93. Point-Blank Shot (Combat)
  94. You are especially accurate when making ranged attacks
  95. against close targets.
  96. Benefit: You get a +1 bonus on attack and damage rolls
  97. with ranged weapons at ranges of up to 30 feet.
  98. =========================================================================================================
  99. Rapid Reload* (Heavy crossbow) Reload crossbow quickly(Move action)
  100. Rapid Reload (Combat)
  101. Choose a type of crossbow (hand, light, or heavy). You can
  102. reload such weapons quickly.
  103. Prerequisite: Weapon Proficiency (crossbow type chosen).
  104. Benefit: The time required for you to reload your
  105. chosen type of crossbow is reduced to a free action (for
  106. a hand or light crossbow) or a move action (for a heavy
  107. crossbow). Reloading a crossbow still provokes an attack
  108. of opportunity.
  109. If you have selected this feat for hand crossbow or light
  110. crossbow, you may fire that weapon as many times in a
  111. full-attack action as you could attack if you were using
  112. a bow.
  113. Normal: A character without this feat needs a move
  114. action to reload a hand or light crossbow, or a full-round
  115. action to reload a heavy crossbow.
  116. Special: You can gain Rapid Reload multiple times. Each
  117. time you take the feat, it applies to a new type of crossbow.

  215. Backstory
  216. Pineapple Peaches is an adventurer, short and sweet, she was always an adventurer and hopes to always be one. Peaches was born as a sheltered child, in a gated type sea town, to a rich family. Her hereditary fathers wealth was nothing of note, but that didn't stop him from talking about every chance he got. After a while her father developed a sort of "reputation" as the "richest man" in the town of "whoknowswhere." Well this story doesn't end at the drunkards at the pub, oh no because where there's harbor there's bound to be seafare. One thing lead to another and as stories go this one has yet to yield a happy segway, so for little pineapple the walls of her world where about to come crashing down on her head, or in some ways, open the world. Pineapple had lived in her families manor since the day she was born but always had a sort of attitude that the "grown ups" would consider sour, and as such she developed a reputation as a sort of "bad apple." Her family incessantly cracked down on her unmentionable behavior. Missing silverware, a shattered vase, "misplaced thumbtacks" all would one way or another be linked back to her with good reason. After awhile word spread of the supposed rich man in the indefensible nameless harbor town, nearly everyone and there mother had heard of his supposed wealth, this lead to a big problem or rather a reckoning of sorts when in the stir of the night armed men broke into Peaches house. This would have been problematic and most of the family members where killed save for one little girl. The captain of the shackles pirate crew that raided the house was surprised to hear that five of his men didn't return alive. Not to leave good enough be the captain's "interest" was peaked and he decided that before completely burning the town to the ground he might as well figure out why the five didn't come back. Upon inspection our captain found that the five had all been slaughtered in the room that once belonged to our beloved Pineapple Peaches. None to eager herself, Peaches was found and forced to come aboard the pirate captain's ship, living the life of a pirate for most of her childhood. Peaches swapped ships many times and eventually joined the shackle pirates all together. Eventually she wound up in the actual land of "The Shackles" a pirate nation near the endless hurricane. Peaches was always driven by her deep passion for "adventure" which may vary from person to person, but what she calls adventure some might call a wanderlust complex, and an overly developed way of stabbing things when they get in her way. Her recent exploits have driven her to such lengths as to near-drop the high pirate life and leave port to explore the reaches of the isle of Kortos, starting her venture in the metropolis of Absalom, altho before that she ran into her new friend Varro Decimus Thriacus, the Dimachaerius who deems himself indebted to her for liberating him in the forests near The Realms of Cheliax.
