1. "Thank you, Anon," says Celestia. "Twilight and I were talking, and decided it would be best to gather the rest of the Elements of Harmony here first thing to determine if any more are compromised, as well as protect those who are not."
2.
3. You realize this gathering could either be very positive, or completely disasterous. If all four of Twilight's other friends are changelings, then you've got a long ways to go to reunite the Elements. If all four are still okay, then it'll be very tough for the enemy to capture anyone, now that you'll be aware and together. Plus, getting Pinkie back shouldn't be too tough with the six of you...
4.
5. Right?
6.
7. "Well, we've got to figure out how to get everyp0ny here," says Twilight. "If you want to go, Anon, you'll need to travel with either me or Celestia, since you don't know your way around Ponyville yet. I'd like to go, myself, but if I stay here, I can practice my spell for revealing changelings. It might prove useful later."
8.
9. Celestia chimes in. "Either my sister or myself will need to question the changeling captive."
10.
11. (cont.)
12.
13.
14.
15.
16.
17. >Analytical: If Twilight goes to round up her friends, it will likely be less suspicious than a princess doing so, assuming changelings have already infiltrated your ranks further than just Pinkie Pie. However, while Twilight is fairly capable, Celestia is much more powerful and experienced, and would be able to deal with ambushes easily. She also knows the changeling-revealing spell already.
18.
19.
Also, if it's not already obvious, you'll get the more chances to romance the pony you travel with. This is a pretty important decision! Think carefully. The vote limit will be increased to 5 for this.
20.
21. First decision: Which princess will stay in/come to Ponyville? (the other one will interrogate the prisoner in Canterlot)
22. (A1) Celestia
23. (A2) Luna
24.
25. How will you split up to fetch the rest of the mane 6?
26. >(1) The princess(dependent on the first question) and Anon go (Twilight will remain in the library and learn the changeling-revealing spell)
27. >(2) Twilight and Anon go (The princess will remain in the library)
28. >(3) Stick together! The princess, Twilight and Anon all go in search of the others
29. >(4) Open response (I think I covered all possibilities, but if I haven't...)
30.
31.
32.
33.
34. >(A1) and (3)
35.
36. "Which changelings about, we shouldn't split up. Let's all go together."
37.
38. Celestia and Twilight both nod.
39.
40. "I'll leave the interrogation to my sister, then," says Celestia. She nods at the pegasai leading her carriage and they salute before taking off toward Canterlot, the unconscious prisoner in tow.
41.
42. You watch them leave, flying toward a small city in the distance. Taking a closer look, you realize the city is actually built straight on a mountain. You let out a low whistle and turn to Celestia.
43.
44. "Are we ready to go?"
45.
46. "I believe so. All we need now is a destination..."
47.
48. Who to track down first?
49. >(1) AJ
50. >(2) RD
51. >(3) Rarity
52. >(4) FS
53. >(5) Open response
54.
55.
56.
57.
58.
59. >(2)
60.
61. "Who do you think will be able to help us get the others the fastest?" you ask.
62.
63. "Definitely Rainbow Dash," says Twilight
64.
65. "Alright, then, Twilight. Lead the way."
66.
67. The three of you take off toward Rainbow Dash's place at a moderate pace. Not too fast to arouse suspicion if any changelings were spying on you, but quicker than a walk. For all they knew, Celestia was simply having a walk with her favorite student and the strange creature. Nothing more.
68.
69. "So, Anon," says Twilight, "Rainbow Dash is a pegasus. A very fast pegasus. She's also very ambitious and, at times, a bit tough. Her dream is to enter the Wonderbolts, a showgroup of pegasai known to be the best in Equestria. Her first friend was Fluttershy in flight school, and she's from Cloudsdale. In fact, her home lies not too far from there."
70.
71. You're about to ask Twilight why she's telling you these things, but if you run into a changeling impersonating Rainbow, all of this information is vital.
72.
73. "Anything else I should know about her?"
74.
75. This time, Celestia answers. "Rainbow Dash is the Element of Loyalty. As a result of this, she can be quite... aggressive when she feels something—or somep0ny—is threatening her friends."
76.
77. Before long, you arrive at an open field. "We're here!" says Twilight, and points up. You follow her hoof, spying a rather large house made out of clouds, hovering pretty far above you.
78.
79. "Cool."
80.
81. How do you approach?
82. >(A) Knock on the door together
83. >(B) Set an ambush, in case it's a trap
84. >(C) Sneak in
85. >(D) Open response
86.
87.
88.
89.
90. >(A)
91.
92. "Well, I suppose the obvious way to go about this is to knock." You look up at the cloud, then back down to your feet. "Uhh, how are we supposed to get up there? Besides you, Princess."
93.
94. Twilight jumps in. "I've got a cloud-walking spell. If I cast it on both you and myself, I should be able to teleport us up there, no problem. I-if that's okay with you, Princess."
95.
96. You see that familiar smirk grow ever so slightly on Celestia's face. Must have be a student-teacher thing. "Of course, Twilight. That sounds like a perfectly reasonable plan."
97.
98. Twilight's horn flashes, briefly coating you with magic. It feels a little weird—tingly, like the earlier spell, but not uncomfortable.
99.
100. "Okay, that was the easy part. Ready for your first teleport?"
101.
102. You take a deep breath. "Ready as I'll ever be."
103.
104. Squinting her eyes shut in concentration, Twilight's horn flashes brilliantly bright, blinding you for a second. As soon as it fades, you find yourself standing on a cloud, high above the ground. You see Celestia flying up to meet Twilight and you. Surprisingly, the teleport was quite painless. The three of you walk up to the door and Twilight knocks.
105.
106. What happened next went very fast, and was definitely NOT painless.
107.
108. (cont.)
109.
110.
111.
112.
113. A rainbow blur erupts through the doorway, ramming into your stomach and carrying you straight off the cloud. You're vaguely aware of two gasps coming from Twilight and Celestia. You grunt and attempt to strike the attacker, but the blur is far too quick for your clumsy movements and flies away. With no cloud beneath your feet, you begin to fall.
114.
115. Fast.
116.
117. The pain in your stomach is intense to the point it almost blinds you. You double over, plummeting at what has now become a deadly speed.
118.
119. "Suck on that, dodo-brain! Why don't you—ACK!"
120.
121. Someone was trying to taunt you, probably your attacker. The ground comes rushing up to meet you, but Celestia, moving with almost the same swiftness as the rainbow pony that hit you, catches you on her back before you meet your fate.
122.
123. She's able to come to a halt just inches above the ground. Heart beating like a drum, you slowly step off of her, offering your thanks.
124.
125. "Do not mention it."
126.
127. What next?
128. >(A) Give the rainbow one a piece of your mind
129. >(B) Find out exactly what the hell happened
130. >(C) Have Celestia see if Rainbow is a changeling
131. >(D) Open response
132.
133.
134.
135.
136. >(B)
137.
138. Okay, what the HELL just happened? You look skyward, and see who must be Rainbow Dash struggling against a purple magic barrier, and Twilight with her eyes narrowed at her pegasus friend.
139.
140. "What in Equestria were you thinking, Rainbow?!" yells Twilight.
141.
142. "I'll never give in, you stupid changeling! Let me go and stop pretending to be my friend!"
143.
144. At that statement, you, Celestia and Twilight all exchange glances.
145.
146. "You knew about the changelings, Rainbow Dash?" asks Twilight.
147.
148. Rainbow's struggling eases up. "Uh, yeah! Three of you just tried to take me on. You should probably send more competent soldiers next time."
149.
150. "Where?"
151.
152. "They're unconscious in my living room. Where YOU'RE about to end up! Now let me go!"
153.
154. Twilight complies, galloping inside, in search of the unconscious changelings.
155.
156. Rainbow looks very confused.
157.
158. "Hey, Rainbow!" You call from the ground. She looks down at you as if she forgot you existed. "She's actually Twilight, if you haven't figured that out already."
159.
160. "You're just sour that I kicked your butt, flat-face! I'll do it—" Rainbow's eyes widen and she shuts her mouth, noticing Celestia standing right next to you.
161.
162. "I assure you, Rainbow Dash, there are no changelings here."
163.
164. She looks to you, then Celestia, then to the door Twilight had disappeared to. "Huh."
165.
166. What do you do?
167. >(A) Demand an apology
168. >(B) Ask Rainbow to come down so you can quiz her to make sure she's not a changeling
169. >(C) Ask Rainbow to come down so Celestia can zap her with the changeling-identifier spell
170. >(D) Open response
171.
172.
173.
174.
175. >(B) + (A)
176.
177. "Hey Rainbow, can you come down here? We have to make sure you're not a changeling, either."
178.
179. She rolls her eyes, but complies nonetheless. After she lands, you decide to make use of your newly-aquired knowledge.
180.
181. "What's your biggest dream?"
182.
183. "To be a Wonderbolt! And who told you that?"
184.
185. "Twilight. Who was your first friend in flight school?"
186.
187. "Fluttershy. And exactly how much did Twilight tell you?"
188.
189. "Enough to tell if you're lying or not. Which Element of Harmony are you?"
190.
191. "Loyalty. And what if I was just a really smart changeling that studied up on Rainbow Dash?"
192.
193. That... was a good question. "Hey, Twilight!" You look upward, expecting her to peek out from above the cloud. Instead, she appears right in front of you in a purple flash.
194.
195. "What's up?"
196.
197. "Do you have a question only the real Rainbow Dash could possibly know?"
198.
199. "Hmmm..." Twilight rubs her chin, thinking on the question for several seconds. "Aha! What was my number during the Running of the Leaves?"
200.
201. Rainbow scratches her head. "Uh... you think I'd remember something like that?"
202.
203. "You would if I beat you."
204.
205. She scowls, almost growling at Twilight. "Fine. 42."
206.
207. Twilight hops over to Rainbow and embraces her in a hug. "Good enough for me!"
208.
209. You fake a cough, looking down at Rainbow. Twilight's hug has put a proper shame in her, and she struggles to keep eye contact with you, realizing what you wanted.
210.
211. "Uuugghh. I'm sorry I kicked your butt. Happy?"
212.
213. Smirking, you give her a nod.
214.

216.
217.
218.
219.
220. >RP: RD: (33) (Good first impression, impressed you didn't react to her mockings)
221.      TS: (42) (+2) (Glad you didn't lose your temper at Rainbow)
222.      PC: (37) (+2) (Impressed by maturity with Rainbow)
223.
224. Rainbow Dash joins the party! You can send her off on her own to bring other Elements back to the library if you want. By default she'll stick with the group.
225.
226. Where to go next?
227. >(A) FS
228. >(B) AJ
229. >(C) Rarity
230. >(D) Open response
231.
232.
233.
234.
235. >(C)
236.
237. "We could always use more magic on our side. Any of the other Elements unicorns, Twilight?"
238.
239. "Yeah. My friend Rarity is, and her boutique isn't too far from here. Let's go."
240.
241. The three of you head down the road to Rarity's place.
242.
243. Who do you talk to?
244. >(A) Twilight
245. >(B) Celestia
246. >(C) Rainbow Dash
247. >(D) Open Response
248.
249.
250.
251. >(C)
252.
253. You make your way over to Celestia's side.
254.
255. "So, do you often find yourself in end-of-the-world scenarios like this?"
256.
257. She briefly looks to you, then back to the road. "You know, it seems I have more often of late. There was almost a thousand years of relative peace after my sister... left, but Twilight was destinted to cause trouble, I suppose." She adds a chuckle to her statement. "And what a teacher I am to put her in that spot."
258.
259. "Hmmm?" You raise an eyebrow at that. "I always figured it was the teacher that gave the student the ability to handle tough situations well, not put them there in the first place. Unless, of course, you enjoy playing with her?"
260.
261. She attempts to hide a smile, but does a poor job of it. "You've noticed, have you? I admit, I do enjoy teasing her just a bit. Keeps her on the tips of her hooves, though sometimes I wonder if she ever comes down off of them." A sigh escapes her lips. "You have a point, she has done well in the situations that have been thrust upon her. But that is because she is a very intelligent young mare. She outgrew me long ago."
262.
263. "Are you sure about that? She still cares very much what you think about her, from what I've seen. I think you give yourself too little credit. Maybe she is very intelligent on her own... but someone has to teach her how to channel her mind."
264.
265. (cont)
266.
267.
268.
269.
270. Celestia's walk slows, thought only for a few steps. Her stutter does not escape you, though. "You speak as if from experience."
271.
272. "I... well—" Anon scratches his head, trying to remember what happened before waking up in Ponyville Town Square. As he digs for memories, a headache begins to pound at him, a throbbing growing in intensity with each pulse of pain.
273.
274.
275. 'Who are you...'
276.
277.
278. "Anon!"
279.
280. You find yourself about to fall over, stopped only by Celestia's hoof. Flustered, you quickly collect yourself and start walking faster.
281.
282. "S-sorry. I don't know what just happened."
283.
284. You're at Carousel Boutique.
285.
286. What now?
287. >(A) Knock on the door
288. >(B) Set up for an ambush
289. >(C) Sneak in
290. >(D) Open response
291.
292.
293.
294.
295. >(A)
296.
297. You get an odd feeling of deja-vu as the four of you approach Rarity's door. Unless Rarity is as aggressive as Rainbow Dash, however, you feel as though you probably won't get tackled again. You raise you hand to the door, then pause.
298.
299. "I sure hope no one breaks this door down and tackles me."
300.
301. "Hey!" Rainbow Dash hollers at you.
302.
303. Too easy.
304.
305. You knock on the door three times, very deliberately, and back up, just in case. After a short pause, the sound of hooves approaches the other side of the door and it swings open, revealing a white-coated unicorn with a very... squiggly tail. It looks like she'd left it in a curling iron a bit too long. You wonder if they even make curling irons that large here.
306.
307. "Greetings, and welcome to—my, my, this is quite the procession! Twilight! Rainbow! And, oh, I'm terribly sorry, Princess, I'm not ready to receive guests, but if you would just give me a moment I'll—"
308.
309. "Please, Miss Rarity, there's no need to worry yourself with preparations. In fact, we were hoping you would come with us. There are some rather... serious matters that need to be attended to."
310.
311. "Yes, it would seem with the company you've gathered it is something requiring the Elements, is it not?"
312.
313. Damn, she's sharp.
314.
315. "Indeed. But first..."
316.
317. How do you test Rarity?
318. >(A) Have Rainbow quiz her
319. >(B) Have Twilight quiz her
320. >(C) Have Celestia zap her
321. >(D) Open response
322.
323.
324.
325.
326. >(B)
327.
328. Twilight probably knows her best, being her unicorn bud and all.
329.
330. "Hey, Twilight, could you do the honors?" Rarity eyes you suspiciously as you step away, allowing Twilight to come forward.
331.
332. "Sorry, Rarity, but I need to ask you some questions, just to make sure you're, well, Rarity."
333.
334. "That is quite all right, dear. As long as you answer my questions when we're done."
335.
336. "Certainly. Now, question one: how did a tree get into my house during your sleepover?"
337.
338. Rarity grins, giving a cute laugh at the memory. "Ah, that would be Applejack's lasso."
339.
340. "Next question: where did you get your cutie mark?"
341.
342. "Ah, is that a trick question? I got my cutie mark backstage at a school play, but I discovered my calling in the middle of nowhere in front of a hollow rock filled with gems."
343.
344. "Good, good. You should have no trouble with this one, then: what were you doing in your spare time when you visited Canterlot not long ago?"
345.
346. In a display unlike the cool, collected Rarity you'd seen, she bit her lower lip. "I... uh... I made you a dress. For your birthday."
347.
348. "Excellent! You're definitely Rarity!" Just like with Rainbow, Twilight gives Rarity a big hug, though Rarity returns it with some unease. Twilight is blissfully ignorant, though you and Rainbow are still a touch cautious.
349.
350. Hmmm....
