Revisions and Conversions (Author's Note)

Hello to those of you still following Purpledom.

 

In finishing chapter 9, I've realized exactly how shit this story has become. There are a lot of things I am not happy with, and I intend to do something about it. I'm going to be converting at least chapter one and two to regular second-person present before long. Chapter 1 will pretty much be a straight-up conversion, but chapter 2 will have some differences. These edits will become more and more pronounced as I work through the chapters. Chapter 9, while poorly written, is actually where I want the story to end up plot-wise.

 

My goal is to have Anon and Twilight in an actual healthy relationship, instead of the abusive one they have now. As far as the actual clop goes, I don't expect much will change. What I'll be focusing on is the context and buildup, as well as the characters' attitude about things (Anon isn't going to be a doormat anymore). I also want to give the story more atmosphere, which will likely involve other ponies from the mane 6 showing up at some point.

 

Anyways, thanks for listening to my rants and sticking with me thus far. I don't want to disappoint you.
