Mr. Cake screams in terror as he gets thrown through the display window of Sugarcube Corner, a monstrous changeling lunging out after him moments after. It hovers in the air above him, snarling at him as it rears back for the final blow.
A flash of colour rockets into the changeling's face and sends it flying in an arc. The mystery character smiles coyly as he swaggers up to Mr. Cake, helping him up.
"Oh, thank you, thank you! I thought I was gonna die there!" is all Cake manages to say before the changeling charged towards his odd savior.
The satyr jumped at the last moment, stomping down onto the changeling before pulling a cane crowned by a large jewel from his sleeve, blasting the changeling with a white light as he jumps off of it again, causing it to vanish.
The satyr made an extravagant twirl with the cane as he put it behind his back, causing it to vanish.
"That's the last time you mess with the beauty of the Magician."
Mr. Cake looked on with a stunned expression, but quickly pulled together and cheered for his savior.
"Thank you Magician! Thank you so much! Who knows what would have happened had you not come!"
"Oh, there's no need for that. Us Jupityrs are meant for this sort of work." The Magician gracefully refused the praise as he pranced away, vanishing in a sudden cloud of smoke.

In the garden of Rarity's Boutique, Pogo and Garret sat on the terrace talking about their latest conquest.
"I thought changelings were much harder," Garret mused as he held up a small pearl containing a swirling green essence.
"Garret, we have to talk," Pogo said. "How come whenever somebody becomes a Jupityr with you, it always wears a dress? It's been nagging me ever since we found out that we were perfectly matched."
"As I told you before Pogo, the Jupityr's attire changes according to the two fused personalities. That's why all of your Jupityrs turn out prancing and carefree."
Garret stood up, stashing the pearl away in a leather pouch fastened to his belt. "Either way, three more changelings and we can make that pearl bracelet for Pinkie Pie. Why she wanted them green I'll never know."
Pogo takes his leave, hurriedly mumbling about having forgotten to do his chores as he speeds off towards Sugarcube Corner once more.

Garret idly walked on the streets of Ponyville, wondering what to do with the rest of the day. The sun had only just reached its zenith and he'd already become bored.
While the satyr scare had settled relatively recently, there was still very few ponies who were daring to actually hiring satyrs as help. They were still seen as something foreign and were thus wary of the potential mayhem they could cause.
As he was sitting on the rim of the town square's fountain and mused about the recent past, Garret finally had a sudden flash of inspiration strike him and started to run towards Sweet Apple Acres.
