  1. >It's snowing.
  2. >Like the day before.
  3. >And the day before that.
  4. >And it's another regular lunch time in the cafeteria: me having lunch with my friends and she having it alone.
  5. >She's the girl with the gorgeous straight, long and pink hair.
  6. >She also has mesmerizing blue eyes.
  7. >And I can't help but to be hypnotized by those beautiful eyes of hers.
  8. >Truth is, I fell in love with her at the first time I saw her.
  9. >But there's a catch; there is a rumor she has a... stranger side too.
  10. >And when I say "a stranger", you mean batshit crazy.
  11. >Word on the street is she was transfered because she killed someone on her old school.
  12. >But those are rumors.
  13. >Usually rumors aren't true... right?
  14. >In any case, she has been alone for a long time, without having a single friend.
  15. >And that pains me.
  16. >So I decided to talk to  her.
  17. >So I worked up my courage as I got up to get to her table.
  18. "Uh... Is this seat taken?"
  19. >"No, why?"
  20. >Tough crowd.
  21. "Mind if I sit here?"
  22. >"Why?"
  23. >Cold.
  24. "Because I want to."
  25. >"Aren't you scared of me?"
  26. "Why should I? You're not ugly."
  27. >"Don't try to be funny. I know you heard the rumors, I think everyone heard them."
  28. >Straight to the point.
  29. "No. They're just rumors, right? I only believe in the truth."
  30. >That was the first time I looked her in the eyes.
  31. >I expected a cold glare from those eyes, but I was wrong.
  32. >"Well, suit yourself."
  33. >At least it was progress.
  34. "Oh, that reminds me, even though we're in the same class I still don't know your name. I know it starts with P--"
  35. >"It's Pinkamena. Pinkamena Diane Pie."
  36. "I'm Anonymous. Can I call you Pinkamena?"
  37. >"Yes."
  38. "Listen, do you have anything to do after school?"
  39. >"Why do you want to know?"
  40. >Ouch.
  41. "I was wondering if... You wanted some company."
  42. >"For?"
  43. "I could walk you home if you didn't mind."
  44. >"Whatever. I'm free after school anyway, if you want something just talk to me."
  45. >Now I understand the rumors.
  46. >Yeah, she's a bit cold, but so what?
  47. >But still, it felt like she was gradually putting her guard down.
  48. >And that was a good sign.
  49. >"Goodbye Anonymous. I'll see you at class."
  50. >She picked up her tray and left the cafeteria.
  51. >But there was something different in that sentence.
  52. >It didn't had the cold vibes from all the other things she said.
  53. >Like she wanted something.
  54. >Maybe she was liking that attention.
  55.
  56. >A few hours passed.
  57. >The bell that marked the ending of our daily classes was almost ringing.
  58. >Obviously, I could care less about the end of the classes or the bell.
  59. >Not when my mind is completely filled with that flowing pink hair and those mesmerizing blue eyes of hers.
  60. >After talking to her, it was pretty obvious she liked the attention I gave her.
  61. >And I just couldn't avoid looking at her.
  62. >Eventually, the bell rings, which caused me to wake up from my thoughts.
  63. >"Class dismissed!"
  64. >As soon as the teacher said those words, I got up and went to Pinkamena's desk.
  65. >It was all tidy and clean.
  66. >She seemed like a good student.
  67. >Better than me at least.
  68. "So... Mind if I walk you home?"
  69. >"You still want... to walk me home?"
  70. >She seemed surprised, why, I will never know.
  71. "I was being serious during lunch."
  72. >"I guess it doesn't hurt to have company once in a while..."
  73. >The way she ended that sentence was completely different too.
  74. >Like if that cold personality of hers was slowly melting.
  75. >It still needed a lot of heat to finally melt fully though.
  76. "That's great to hear. So, let's go?"
  77. >"Yeah..."
  78. >It stopped snowing too.
  79. >As soon as we left the building, we could see the white background.
  80. >But I didn't comment on it, I knew her answer anyway.
  81. >So we just started our journey.
  82. >Until I decided to break the ice.
  83. "I love this landscape. I really like this snowy weather. What about you Pinkamena?"
  84. >"It's alright I guess..."
  85. >The rest of the walk was pretty uneventful to say the least.
  86. >At least until I decided to dig a little deeper about her past.
  87. "Say, can I ask you one thing Pinkamena?"
  88. >"Go ahead."
  89. "The rumors about you killing a classmate... Are they real?"
  90. >When I finished the sentence, she looked away into the distance.
  91. >It was a sign.
  92. >A sign that said that I screwed up asking her that.
  93. "Sorry, I shouldn't have asked that. It's pretty obvious you wouldn't kill a person..."
  94. >"Even if I said I didn't, would you believe in me?"
  95. >Her way of speaking totally changed.
  96. >It looked a lot more natural than before.
  97. >I soon realized she stopped walking.
  98. >I was just a few meters in front of her.
  99. >"I never killed anyone... I swear..."
  100. >Then I realize I was seeing a totally different side of this mystery girl.
  101. >A soft side of hers.
  102. >And when I looked into her eyes again, I saw a surprising sight.
  103. >She was crying.
  104. >I had no reaction, I never thought I'd see her cry.
  105. "I believe in your words."
  106. >Her eyes widened.
  107. >"You... believe in me?"
  108. "Why shouldn't I?"
  109. >She lifted her head as I walked to her.
  110. "It must be cold, no? Here, take my scarf."
  111. >A lot of tears could be seen rolling from her eyes as I put my scarf around her neck.
  112. >"Thank you Anonymous..."
  113. "Why are you thinking me?"
  114. >"Until today, I was just the killer girl to everyone... The truth is, something happened..."
  115. >She suddenly hugged me.
  116. >It was an unexpected turn of events.
  117. >So I hugged her back.
  118. >"Can... Can we go to your home Anonymous?"
  119. "Yes, but there's one condition."
  120. >"What... What is it?"
  121. >At this point she was probably scared about my condition.
  122. "You have to call me Anon from now on. Deal?"
  123. >"Deal..."
  124.
  125. >And so we arrived my home.
  126. >She was a bit scared when we entered, either that or curious.
  127. >As soon as we entered the living room, it started hailing hard.
  128. >She did a wise decision coming to my place.
  129. >I started up the fireplace to warm up the cold room.
  130. "Are you comfortable?"
  131. >"Yes Anon, thank you."
  132. "It's fine. And you don't need to be so formal. Anyway, I'm going to make some hot chocolate for me, do you want some too?"
  133. >"If it's not too much work for you..."
  134. "Give me a second then, just make yourself at home."
  135. >So I went to the kitchen as she inspected the room.
  136. >I grabbed two mugs, milk and the cocoa powder.
  137. >Chocolate.
  138. >Such a bitter thing, but such a sweet thing as well.
  139. >Just like a certain someone.
  140. >After a while I came back to the living room.
  141. >And there she was waiting for me.
  142. >That pink-haired perfection.
  143. "It's hot, so be careful."
  144. >"Thanks Anon. It's really kind of you."
  145. "You're the guest."
  146. >And for the first time since I met her...
  147. >I saw her smiling.
  148. >She was actually giggling...
  149. >And it was a pleasant sight.
  150. >"Why are you so surprised?"
  151. "Oh, nothing, never mind."
  152. >"I see."
  153. >Her giggles were beautiful.
  154. "So, Pinkamena..."
  155. >But she didn't let me finish the sentence.
  156. >"Silly Anon, don't call me Pinkamena! Call me Pinkie!"
  157. >Her personality completely changed.
  158. "Uh... Ok. Can I ask you a delicate question?"
  159. >"Go ahead Anon!"
  160. >I mustered up my courage as the steam from the hot chocolate rose in the air.
  161. "Could tell me more about those rumors?"
  162. >"What do you mean Anon?"
  163. "Can you tell me what happened?"
  164. >It was pretty obvious she didn't like that question.
  165. >And I guess I could understand why she didn't like it.
  166. >"Well Anon, you win. I'll tell you what happened."
  167. "It's ok if you don't want to tell."
  168. >"No, no. I'll speak. Anyway, it all started last year... I was still going to another school a bit far away. I was pretty popular around them, in fact, my group was pretty popular. But then a new girl appeared. Her name was Twilight Sparkle. At first I thought she was alright, so I threw her a welcome party. She didn't like it at all and called me childish for doing a thing like that, and people started avoiding me out of the blue because «Miss Twilight Sparkle is soooo mature and cool.» So I pulled a little prank on her, but..."
  169. >At this point she couldn't contain the tears anymore and started crying again.
  170. >"But... But it went horribly wrong and I severely injured her... I swear... I SWEAR I DIDN'T MEAN TO! I'M SORRY"
  171. >She couldn't talk anymore due to her crying.
  172. >It wasn't hard to deduce what happened next.
  173. >Either she survived and Twilight spread rumors of Pinkie wanting her dead.
  174. >Or Twilight died and Pinkie was blamed for her death.
  175. "It's ok, don't cry anymore..."
  176. >I couldn't do much, I hugged her as I let this story sink in.
  177. >The steam from the hot chocolate was still going up in the air.
  178. >"Thank you Anon... Thank you..."
  179. "It's fine Pinkie..."
  180. >And so she stayed in my arms for a while...
  181.
  182. >The next day I woke up extremely early.
  183. >Maybe it was because of the events of the last day.
  184. >It was too much action for one day.
  185. >Anyway, I promised Pinkie I'd pick her up today.
  186. >So I got ready and went to pick her up.
  187. >As soon as I opened the door to leave my house, I saw her waiting for me already.
  188. >"HELLO ANON!"
  189. >Holy shit, she really changed.
  190. "Hi Pinkie, woke up early?"
  191. >Even her hair was different.
  192. >She didn't have the straight hair anymore, now it was all puffy.
  193. >And it was beautiful too.
  194. >"What's holding you Anon? Let's go!"
  195. >And this new personality of hers wasn't bad either.
  196. "Yeah, lets."
  197. >And so we started to walk to school.
  198. >We apparently had a lot of thing in common as well.
  199. >And she really needed a friend.
  200. >Everything was fine.
  201. >Until we arrived to the school.
  202. >All kind of looks were upon us.
  203. >"Haha! Look at Anon with the killer girl!"
  204. >"Do you think Anon has anything to do with her?"
  205. >"Maybe they date."
  206. >"So that means Anon is a killer too!"
  207. >She instantly grabbed my arm.
  208. >"I'm sorry Anon, I didn't want to put you through this..."
  209. "It's fine Pinkie, ignore them."
  210. >We kept walking until our classroom.
  211. >We still had a lot of time left, which was good.
  212. >Apparently a new student would be joining us.
  213. >Pinkie got excited.
  214. >"Oooh! A new student! Maybe we could throw him a party!"
  215. "Calm down Pinkie. We still don't know who he or she is."
  216. >The bell rang a few minutes after that.
  217. >The teacher eventually walked in.
  218. >"Students, today we have a new student joining us. I want you to be nice to her."
  219. >"Ooooh! I can't wait!!"
  220. >Pinkie was really excited.
  221. >"You can come in now!"
  222. >And so, a new girl walked through the door.
  223. >She had long, somewhat dark blue hair with some shades of purple and pink.
  224. >She was tall and had purple eyes.
  225. "She's cute isn't she Pinkie?"
  226. >But I got no reply.
  227. >"Pinkie?"
  228. >And then I looked at her.
  229. >Pinkie's eyes widened.
  230. >She started shaking too.
  231. >This couldn't be good.
  232. >"Hello! My name is Twilight Sparkle! I hope we can get along!"
  233. >Only then I understood Pinkie's reaction.
  234. >She saw a ghost.
  235. >"Why don't you sit over there next to Pinkamena and Anonymous?"
  236. >"Ok!"
  237. >Uh oh.
  238. >Twilight really sat next to us.
  239. >"Hello Pinkamena. Surprised to see a ghost?"
  240. "So you're Twilight Sparkle..."
  241. >"Oh? Are you her boyfriend? Quite a catch Pinkamena, I have to say."
  242. >Pinkie's fluffy hair just went straight again.
  243. >How does she do that?
  244. >"We... We aren't dating... We're just friends..."
  245. >"Oh my, that means I can have him for myself then!"
  246. >For a second there I wondered if she was actually being serious.
  247. >By the look on her face she was.
  248. >Not sure if I should be happy or not.
  249. >Other than that, the classes went well.
  250. >Except Pinkie had to go to the infirmary.
  251. >But that was understandable.
  252. >From what I could see, Twilight had it all: she was beautiful, smart, popular...
  253. >What all girls want to be.
  254. >Eventually the bell rang for lunch break.
  255. >I was going to have lunch with Pinkie.
  256. >She said she'd bake something for us.
  257. >Apparently, she's good at baking and helped in a friend's bakery.
  258. >So I picked her up at the infirmary.
  259. "Are you ok Pinkie?"
  260. >"Yes... I'm better now..."
  261. "Come on, let's go outside, I know a pretty good place for a picnic."
  262. >And so, we went to the school gardens.
  263. >Our lunch was going pretty well.
  264. >She's a good baker.
  265. >But I felt that I had to pick this up.
  266. "Pinkie... Don't worry about Twilight, I'll be by your side no matter what, I swear!"
  267. >She nodded.
  268. >"Thank you Anon."
  269. >Her smile didn't last for long though.
  270. >"Hello friends. Can I join you?"
  271. >Even though it was a new voice, I already knew it.
  272. "No Twilight, you can't."
  273. >"Come on, it will be fun!"
  274. >She sat next to me anyway, that girl doesn't know how to take a no.
  275. >"Soooooooooo Pinkie... Tell me, do we look good together?"
  276. >Twilight hugged me close.
  277. >And I guess that's a horrifying sight for her.
  278. >Losing the only friend she made.
  279. >"So, what do you think? Don't we look cute?"
  280. "Let go of me Twilight."
  281. >"What?"
  282. "Let go of me Twilight."
  283. >"Why are you acting like that? Don't you like me?"
  284. >She had a point.
  285. "It doesn't matter if I like you or not, I just don't want you to hold me like that when we barely know each other."
  286. >"Fun killer..."
  287. >Twilight finally let hold of me, but she whispered a thing to me.
  288. >"I'm not going to let you off the hook."
  289. >It sent chills down my spine.
  290. >Twilight stood up.
  291. >"Well guys, I hope we can get along! Later!!"
  292. >To be honest, I didn't understand Twilight's personality at all.
  293. >At least she seems determined.
  294. "Bye Twilight."
  295. >"B... Bye T... Twilight..."
  296. >And so, she left.
  297. >Pinkie started crying again.
  298. >Not hard to understand why.
  299. "Don't worry Pinkie... I won't leave your side..."
  300.
  301. >And this kept going for about a week.
  302. >Me and Pinkie were becoming more intimate every day.
  303. >And unfortunately, so was Twilight.
  304. >She didn't give up and still tried to get me.
  305. >And she went as far as kissing me today.
  306. >It was a big blow for Pinkie.
  307. >Not that I wanted to kiss her, but I should have avoided it.
  308. >It was snowing today as well.
  309. >"Anon!"
  310. >Suddenly Pinkie called me.
  311. >Apparently, I was drowning in my thoughts.
  312. "Pinkie, I'm sorry, I didn't want to kiss her I promise!"
  313. >"I know. I'm going to have a talk with Twilight after school to settle this once and for all."
  314. >The way she said that scared me.
  315. >I don't know why, but it did.
  316. >It was on my head until the classes finished.
  317. >And the final ring of the bell came.
  318. "Pinkie, promise me you won't do anything you'll regret later."
  319. >"I won't Anon, I promise. Wait for me on the gates, I'll try to be quick."
  320. >According to Pinkie, Twilight already knew about this.
  321. >So I went to the gates while Pinkie was going to meet Twilight.
  322. >Not that I don't trust Pinkie, but I had to follow her to see what would happen.
  323. >I eventually found them, they were exiting the school to some nearby woods.
  324. >I had bad feels about that.
  325. >So I followed them.
  326. >They stopped, so I hid myself.
  327. >"Well Pinkie, why did you call me here?"
  328. >"Why did you kiss Anon?"
  329. >"Oh? Because I really love Anon!"
  330. >"Don't feed me that kind of shit! WHY DO YOU WANT HIM?!"
  331. >I never saw Pinkie that mad.
  332. >"But Pinkie, I'm being honest!"
  333. >"Don't call me Pinkie EVER AGAIN!"
  334. >Twilight got close to Pinkie's ear and whispered a few words.
  335. >I couldn't figure much of it.
  336. >From what she said, I could only understand "Anon doesn't deserve to be friends with a killer slut in pink."
  337. >Then she laughed.
  338. >And Pinkie snapped.
  339. >The next thing I saw was horrifying, but it was so fast I couldn't see it at all.
  340. >Pinkie stabbed Twilight in her stomach.
  341. >"Why did you came back? Why?! Do you want to haunt me?! You should be dead! You shouldn't remain in this world!!"
  342. >"So you... Want to kill me again?"
  343. >I had no words to describe what I saw.
  344. >"Does Anon know... The whole story?"
  345. >What did she mean with "The whole story?"
  346. >"Goodbye Pinkie... See you in hell..."
  347. >And so Twilight fell in the cold snow, dead.
  348. >She had a red deathbed.
  349. >But it wasn't over.
  350. >Pinkie came to the place where I was hiding.
  351. >I was scared.
  352. >I was scared she would kill me next.
  353. >No, Pinkie was not a mindless killer.
  354. >She had to have a reason.
  355. >Then she broke the silence.
  356. >"I'm sorry Anon... I... I didn't want to do this..."
  357. >She broke down in tears.
  358. "Pinkie... It's ok. I promised I would stay by your side forever."
  359. >"R... Really Anon?"
  360. "Really."
  361. >I hugged her.
  362. >But something still felt off in all of this.
  363. >Wasn't Twilight supposed to be dead?
  364. >"Can... Can we go to your home Anon?"
  365. "Sure Pinkie... Let's go."
  366. >I helped her standing up.
  367. >"Hey Anon..."
  368. "What?"
  369. >"Do... Do you love me?"
  370. >So I gave her the only answer possible.
  371. >We shared a kiss.
  372. >And it felt so right.
  373. >"Anon..."
  374. "What?"
  375. >"Can you hold my hand?"
  376. "Yeah... I can..."
  377. >And so we walked towards the sunset with my hand entwined in her delicate hand bathed in crimson.
  378. >And it couldn't feel more right.
  379. >THE END!
  380.
  381.
  382.
  383.
  384. >"Looks like she still doesn't believe in Magic..."
