>Aegis is holding 14, 7 of which she conjured

>Aegis gazes over her opponents a cool look, face betraying nothing

>No one of them dares to move

>Without warning, a unicorn levitating 2 claymores rushes in

>Only for a shield to meet him in his face before he can move a full step

>Getting no time to recover, one of the dulled short swords cracks him in his head, sending him to the ground down and out

>It quickly turns into a frenzy

>Roughly 10 second passes before all the normal guards are out, leaving the 3 AD standing where they were and Aegis with a still impassive look

>So they took your advice of playing it safe with superior opponents

>Good

>All three of them, a pegasus and 2 unicorns armed with a bastard sword each look at each other before nodding

>They all reach up and flick the switch on their helmets

>Immediately they seem faster and less strained

>This is where it gets good

>All of them surge forward with alarming speed before breaking off from each other

>The pegasus rushes forward while the unicorns flank Aegis

>3 shields and a sword pull forward with lightning speed to intercept the speedy pegasus

>He barley dodges the first 2 shields and the sword with a well placed barrel-roll but takes the last shield to the stomach, knocking him to the ground and making his armor barrier flare to life

>While this was going on both the unicorns charged, each meeting 2 shields and 2 swords coming between the attackers and their master

>The right unicorn parries the swords well enough but takes the shields slamming into his sides in what would be a painful experience if it weren’t for his barrier

>He backpedals away to try again

>At the same time the other unicorn charged in recklessly, swinging his sword in wide, wild arcs

>Aegis weaves shields and swords around him masterfully, striking him every time he exposed himself

>The wild tactics quickly showed their error when his barrier broke, leaving him open for a shield to smash him in the face

>That one needs more work…

>By now the pegasus had flow back away and charged again, getting much more speed

>With expert skill and a bit of luck he weaves around Aegis’s defenses before charging her as fast as he could

>A crack of displaced air sounded as Aegis teleports herself out of harm’s way while replacing the enemy unicorn with herself

>Disoriented from the unwilling teleport, the unicorn can only watch helplessly as his comrade barrels into him, shattering the barriers on both of them

>The unicorn groans and pushes his now unconscious pegasus friend off of him

>Levitating his sword back up he turns to see Aegis still as dead-faced as the match began with her armaments still steady in the air

>The unicorn sighs, then places his sword on the ground and bows his head, conceding defeat

>The match over, the medics standing by take the knocked out guards to the training ground infirmary as Aegis disperses her shields and gives her swords to a nearby grounds-keeper to take back to the armory

>Walk up behind her as she wipes off her forehead with a rag

“Damn babe, I knew you were something else but that was nuts”

>Aegis turns and smiles upon seeing you

>”Hey Anon, were you here for all of that?

“You know it”

>You hold your arms out and she raises herself up to kiss you

>She really does seem tired

“How long have you been out here?”

>She cracks open hers eyes “Since you left”

>Walking slowly, you carry her back into the castle, getting more than a few jealous looks from stallions passing by and a few mares glaring at Aegis
