  1. >BOOM
  2. >Well this is bad
  3. >You look down, the modified portal had worked, and you are in a new world!
  4. >But you had appeared about 10,000 feet in the air in the dead of night rocketing at the ground
  5. >Looking at the rapidly approaching ground you begin to think as hard as you can
  6. >7000 feet
  7. >”No no no that would never work…”
  8. >4000 feet
  9. >”Dammit Anon, think!”
  10. >1500 feet
  11. >”Comon, COMON!”
  12. >250 feet
  13. >”GOT IT!”
  14. >Pointing your hands at the ground you focus and expel a large amount of sand from your storage dimension onto the ground below
  15. >You apparently didn’t think fast enough as you didn’t get enough sand out to catch you completely
  16. >Crash!
  17. >A huge cloud of sand is thrown up
  18. >Your bones creak in protest of the harsh landing and you knock the wind out of yourself but otherwise you feel fine
  19. >Getting up you dust sand off of you and reabsorb the small sand dune you made
  20. >Taking a second to catch your stolen breath you finally notice where you are
  21. >All around you are trees of various sizes, most towering above you
  22. >You look up to notice the moon high in the night sky and grimace
  23. >Where there monsters here?
  24. >Well, you don’t want to find out
  25. >Turning to the nearest tree you pull your fist back and drive it into the large plant
  26. >A thunderous BANG resounds around the area and the tree groans in protest of the abuse
  27. >Undeterred, you hit it again,
  28. >And again
  29. >It only takes one more strike to fell the tree which topples over with a crash
  30. >Forming a knife with your hand like you were going to karate chop something you go about breaking the tree into more reconstruct able pieces
  31. >The tree yields a surprising amount of wood though not enough for a temporary home
  32. >A few more should suffice
  33. >Several more trees share a similar fate to the first, brutally broken all in the span of a minute or two
  34. >Gathering up all the wood pieces into a pile you place your hand on the top one and focus
  35. >A white light engulfs the all of the wood
  36. >Even now it’s still fascinating to watch your matter deconstruction to turn the wood into an infinitely fine powder, only for the powder to come back together in the form of a huge stack of 2x4 planks
  37. >Its only about ten minutes until you have a small house built in the tiny clearing you landed in
  38. >Taking a mental inventory you are glad to find that you stored a bed before you left
  39. ~~Next Morning~~
  40. >You are awakened by sunlight streaming through the small ports on the side of your wooden house which were there in the place of glass windows
  41. >Stretching your arms and yawning, you get up out of the bed in the corner of the room and give yourself a few moments to get completely woke up
  42. >From what you could tell, this world did have inhabitants of its own
  43. >You weren’t sure what they are, but it’s worth a shot at meeting them
  44. >Today’s plan, first contact
  45. >Ok now, how to do that?
  46. >Go running in?
  47. >No
  48. >Wait for them to come to you?
  49. >Still no…
  50. >Middle ground?
  51. >Find them then wait around to be approached?
  52. >…Might work
  53. “Welp, here goes nothing”
  54. >You set out of your shack into the forest
  55. >Despite the fact that it’s daytime now the forest still seems dark thanks to the thick canopy
  56. >Huh, still nice tho-
  57. >*snap*
  58. >In a flash of light Mixed Blessing is in your hand as you whirl around
  59. >You come face to face a huge lion like beast sporting small wings and a scorpion tail that’s giving you a hungry look
  60. >Of course…
  61. >You slowly step back; avoiding a fight is probably a good idea
  62. >No such luck as it lunges towards you with a roar
  63. >Rolling under the pounce, you slash Blessing through its stomach
  64. >The diamond sword cuts through flesh and bone like butter, leaving an insurvivable rift in its underbelly
  65. >The lion hit the ground heavily, thrashing and yowling for a few seconds before going still and almost immediately bleeding out
  66. >You just get up, shake your head, and store away your sword
  67. >Such a disappointing fight…
  68. >Time to continue on
  69. >Its almost an hour before you find a thin dirt path much to your relief, the feeling of going in circles is maddening
  70. >And with the thousands of caves you’ve accidently dug into while mining you would know
  71. >To your surprise you find hoof prints in the dirt leading north
  72. >Did the natives use animals?
  73. >Or maybe…
  74. >The natives are animals?
  75. “What the fuck am I thinking?”
  76. >How would they function if they are?
  77. “Yeesh, I hope my age isn’t finally catching up to me…”
  78. >Following the tracks until about noon you finally come across the end of the forest
  79. >Taking a moment to relish in the feeling of the sun on your skin you think about what you are going to do
  80. >The path leads to a village in the distance, but who the residents are is unknown
  81. >You’re hoping for humans, but that’s a long shot at best
  82. ‘Just hang around the edge of town and observe for now I guess’ You think
  83. >With your plan finally ironed out you position yourself low, before sprinting with all your might to a hill close to the town about a hundred yards away
  84. >Flying across the ground, you make the trip in only a few seconds
  85. >You stop at the base to catch your breath before walking up the hill and going prone on top
  86. “What the hell?”
  87. >Unstoreing a bit of wood and glass you fuse it to make a telescope to get a better look at the town
  88. >P0nies…
  89. >Pastel colored p0nies…
  90. >The locals are animals after all
  91. >Some have horns and display telekinetic abilities
  92. >Unicorns
  93. >Others have wings that despite their size let them fly
  94. >Pegasi
  95. >The last group has neither, but seems more well built
  96. >Can’t think of a name for them…
  97. >You spy a market place, a hollow tree that served as a library, a carousel shaped building, and a town hall to name some of what you see
  98. “…Still better than creepers…”
  99. >700 years of isolation may have left you a bit socially retarded, but you still knew that approaching suddenly would be a bad idea
  100. >Pulling a notebook and pen from storage you take some notes on what you see
  101. >They are social, have a form of economy, communicate verbally, friendly in appearance…
  102. >Good, now if only they could speak English…fat chance at that…
  103. >This goes on for several hours until a few p0nies spot you and point, you see their mouths moving but you are too far away to hear what they are saying
  104. >Don’t run Anon, it implies you have something to hide…
  105. >After it’s made apparent that you weren’t going to do anything they calm down, but still eye you warily
  106. >Noticing that it’s becoming late, you gather your things up and head back into the forest
  107. >On your way you can’t help but notice a lavender colored unicorn standing a little way from the hill staring intently at you
  108. >Back at the forest you construct a home closer to town with a few trees sacrificed in the process
  109. >The next day is the same, except you sit on the hill rather than lying prone, giving them a better view of you
  110. >You decide to call it quits early as the purple one tries to approach
  111. >Heading home for some sleep, you wonder what the curious equine wanted
  112. ~~Next Day~~
  113. >Well shit
  114. >The unicorn is in your spot
  115. >Is three days long enough?
  116. >Well if not, you knew how to make another Nether portal
  117. >You sigh and walk up the hill
  118. >The unicorn looks at you with a face filled with excitement and nervousness as you reach the top with it
  119. >You do your best to give a reassuring smile, though; it feels like a grimace and settle yourself down cross legged about 3 feet away to make yourself seem less imposing
  120. >Finally up close to one, you closely observe it
  121. >Its coat is lavender in color, with eyes, a mane, and a tail that are a shade darker. The mane and tail both have a rose colored streak running though them
  122. >On its behind is a six pointed star
  123. >Finally on its head is a small, spiraled horn
  124. >If you had to guess, then it would stand around 3 feet tall
  125. >Such an interesting creature
  126. >It seems to be studying you as much as you are it
  127. >OK, time for the moment of truth
  128. >You clear your throat, getting its attention
  129. “So…Do you speak?”
  130. >It seems startled, and replies…
  131. >In a totally different language…
  132. >Fuck
  133. >From the voice you’re willing to bet its female
  134. >Well, at least you gleaned something…
  135. >You sigh and pinch the bridge of your nose
  136. >Trying to look on the brightside, you realize if one is willing to come to you then they will doubtlessly be friendlier than the villagers in the Overworld right?
  137. >The villagers back in the Overworld weren’t all that friendly, they understood trade well enough but tended to try and usher you out of their settlements if you weren’t doing such
  138. >Pulling out of your thoughts you find the unicorn giving you a concerned look, her head tilted to the side
  139. >A bit of warmth blossoms in your chest, concern from a stranger? The feeling was foreign, but still welcome
  140. >A bit higher in spirits, you decide to take another route
  141. “Ok, let’s try this…”
  142. >You unstore a piece of paper and pen, making the unicorn look in wonder
  143. >Folding the paper into a scalene triangle you show it to her
  144. >Her eyes get wider
  145. >Then you mark the sides with lines, one for the smallest, two for the mid-size, and three for the largest before showing her again
  146. >The little unicorn’s eyes look ready to burst out of her head, before she began to quickly babble in excitement, shifting her glee filled gaze between the paper and you rapidly
  147. >Yep, these p0nies are intelligent
  148. >They may not know Paragathen, but they know his theorem
  149. >The atmosphere is so infectious that you find yourself grinning at her enthusiasm
  150. >You had forgotten just how pleasant the company of others is
  151. >After she had calmed down some she looked back to you with a smile, scootching closer and making an inquiring sound
  152. “What?”
  153. >She looks like she wants to facepalm at her forgetting the language barrier
  154. >Getting up she starts down the hill only to stop after a few steps and turn to look at you
  155. >What could she want?
  156. “You want me to follow you?” you ask with some hand gestures thrown in
  157. >You get a vigorous nod in return
  158. >Well, what harm can come of it?
  159. >You stand up and follow the unicorn down the hill into town
  160. >You can help but feel very awkward walking through the small settlement
  161. >The unicorn and you garner a lot of stares
  162. >Not that she seems to care
  163. >Finally after what seems like forever you two make it to the hollowed out tree
  164. >Does she work here?
  165. >Walking in after her, ducking under the doorway you see that this place is indeed a library
  166. >The unicorn trots up to a bookshelf and begins sifting through books at an impressive rate with her T.K.
  167. >Making a noise that sounds suspiciously like “Ah-Ha!” she finds the one she wants and begins looking for a certain page, still using T.K.
  168. >Not wanting to look like an awkward fuck just standing around you lean back into the wall and wait for her to finish
  169. >Her eyes light up as she finds what she wants
  170. >Setting the book down she trots up to you with her horn glowing
  171. >Ok, that kind of suspicious…
  172. >Mentally you visualize Mixed Blessing, ready to summon it should this be a trick
  173. >A thin beam of light flies from her horn to your forehead
  174. >AND IT DOES..!
  175. >Nothing?
  176. >Weird,
  177. “Well, that was something else…” you mutter
  178. >”What was that?”
  179. “I said…wait who?”
  180. >You look down at a beaming purple p0nie
  181. >Still sporting a megawatt smile she looks up at you and says “My name is Twilight Sparkle, did the translation spell work”
  182. >Translation spell?
  183. “Yeah” you breathe, “Worked…just fine…”
  184. >Damn, just roll with it…
  185. >”Sooo…” Twilight trails off
  186. >What did she want now?
  187. >Oh you never told her your name
  188. >Nice one rude ass
  189. “Sorry, my name is Anonymous, Anon for short”
  190. >”Its fine. Anon?”
  191. “Hmm?”
  192. >”Do you mind if I ask a few questions?”
  193. >Can’t do any harm
  194. “No, go ahead”
  195. >”GREAT!”
  196. >Here we go…
  197. >Twilight leads you to a nearby couch holding some parchment and a quill
  198. “Alright, first up?”
  199. >”How did you create that paper earlier?”
  200. “I didn’t create it; it was just stored in a pocket dimension”
  201. >Twilight tilts her head to the side “Pocket dimension?”
  202. “Yep, a tiny portion of space I can call my own and store things in”
  203. >”Wow, that sounds like advanced magic! Are you a wizard?”
  204. >You chuckle
  205. “Not really”
  206. >She eyeballs you skeptically but lets the issue drop
  207. >”Ok, what are you”
  208. “A human”
  209. >”Hyumane…details please?
  210. “Think of me as a smart, omnivorous ape”
  211. >A raised eyebrow at that
  212. >”How old are you”
  213. >This one will be fun
  214. “722 Years old”
  215. >Silence
  216. >Twilight is giving you an ‘Are you fucking serious?’ look
  217. “You’re the one who asked…”
  218. >”Um moving on…Any other special powers?”
  219. >You bite the inside of your cheek and wonder of you should say
  220. >May as well…
  221. “Matter manipulation on a molecular level”
  222. >”Now I know your just blowing smoke…”
  223. >Oh really?
  224. >You hold out your hands and in a flash fist size diamonds appear in each
  225. >”Are those..?”
  226. “Diamonds? Yes, yes they are. And I’m going to fuse them into something else with my bare hands”
  227. >”But that’s impossible! Nop0ny can-“
  228. >You cut her off by slamming the diamonds together in your hands
  229. >In a flash and crackle of energy, the hard mineral melts in your hands and reforms into a tiara riddled with detail
  230. >Ignoring the gobsmacked expression on Twilights face you set the head piece on her without a word
  231. >”B-but but, that cant…you, it diamond, cant…h-how?”
  232. >Cue smug look
