>With a single warcry the mass of griffin solders rocket into the sky, a flurry of steel and wings towards the mesa where the changelings stood
>You look over to Chrysalis so see her staring at the cloud of claws and feathers without a care in the world
>Glancing over to you she flashes a small fanged smile and nods
>That’s you’re cue
>Closing your eyes and focusing, you flare your mind outward and encompass the whole mesa
‘It’s time’
>All of the changelings grin as power begins to fill them, your love of your new home and it’s people washing over them
‘We can do this’
>Some of them begin to bulge in muscle, while others take on a bright green glow
‘I know you can’t lose’
>All of them shake and twitch, unable to properly hold all the empathetic energy you are giving them
‘Now go! Show them that we cannot be defeated!’
>All of them roar out and blast upward, rushing the griffins, some even breaking the sound barrier with a plethora of booms in their haste
>You turn to Chrysalis and put your hand on her shoulder
>She turns her head and locks her emerald green eyes with yours
>Opening your mind to hers directly, you pour all the affection and adoration you have into her
>She gasps as her body erupts in a green glow, the holes on her body closing as the ragged edges of her wings become whole once more, the transformation taking only seconds
“Ready?”
>She smiles “For you? Always”
>You both turn to the fray
>It would only be the first of many sweet victories
