  1. >>You are nothing if not an experiment
  2. >>The illusion that Dash discovered you in this new world was a pre-planned event
  3. >>Anonymous has yet to actually confront Celestia
  4. >>Yet to actually contrast and compare the old world from the new
  5. >>As far as you know, this world is new, and it is poison
  6. >>Your memories of your past life are second long epiphanies at best, which you struggle to regain but >>lose completely by night
  7. >>Celestia doesn't trust you
  8. >>And she has good reason
  9.
  10. >>You watched from a distance as the Elements of Harmony failed
  11. >>For all of the fanfare they receive, they were a spectacular dud from where you sat
  12. >>You were not there to witness the corruption of those who you consider to be your friends
  13. >>You do not know the full story behind this
  14. >>But what you DO know is that this IS Discord
  15. >>And that Celestia has called upon you, Anonymous
  16. >>Why, exactly? You do not know
  17. >>What can you do in the face of a God?
  18. >>But Celestia calls, and you answer
  19. >>When you met her, she carried herself with such grace and power
  20. >>You can do nothing else but obey
  21.
  22. >>And so you stand before Discord, who looks upon you with a measure of delight from his devilish throne
  23. >>He cackles. It is low at first but quickly evolves into this snarky guffaw that you cannot tolerate
  24. >>“Oh, oh ho! This is rich. Her Elements of Harmony failed, and Twilight Sparkle's oh-so-precious 'magic of friendship!' ended up being a dud!”
  25. >>He was expressionate, you had to give him that. Moving with his speech. It made him all the more dislikable
  26.
  27. >>“And so... and so~! Hahaha! She calls on a, a... HUMAN!”
  28. >>He falls out of his seat and rocks back and forth on his devilish body
  29. >>Why aren't you scared?
  30. >>You are only human. You are not some badass. In all things, you know fear.
  31. >>His head was that of a goat, crowned with the antlers of a mountain ram and a doe. His body was long and serpentine, with the midsection being covered by a brown layer of fur, or feathers. You cannot tell.
  32. >>He possessed undersized wings, one of a bad and one of a dove. He had the limbs of a lion, an eagle, an ass, and a skink.
  33. >>But Celestia knows humans better than you think she does
  34. >>She forces a digital display reading 6:59am into your mind
  35. >>You fear whatever world lays behind that far more than you fear Discord's physical appearance
  36. >>Like a gun to your back, at any instant the six can flip to a seven, and the fifty nine can flip to two zeroes
  37. >>And once that happens, you will never see your bro again
  38. >>That keeps you standing where you stand
  39. >>Discord, breaking through his debilitating laughter, finally, wipes a tear from his abysmal eye
  40. >>“But I DO have to hand it to Celestia! Bringing a human to Equestria? I say, what a bold move”
  41. >>He chuckles. You remain silent, wondering what exactly you are doing
  42. >>“Oh, dear. So, My Little Human, how did the old bat manage to tame you? Your people are so far lacking any sort of harmony! Must have been like house training a dog.”
  43.
  44. >>You furrow your eyebrows, taking offense.
  45. >>But you remain silent. You are a man of few words.
  46. >>He... it... slithers up to you, curls around your legs, and rears its nasty goat-head over you
  47. >>He examines you, wanting to see a human being up close
  48. >>Discord, perhaps, admires humans. But this thought is well out of your mind at the moment
  49. >>Every fiber in your body screams at you to run
  50. >>To flee, to survive. It is what humans are good at
  51. >>But, unbeknownst to you, Celestia prods you from behind
  52. >>“...Still, I can't blame her. I have taken away everything that she once held. She has no property left.”
  53. >>“Except you.”
  54. >>He chuckles, barely able to hold it in as he derpfaces
  55. >>“And... haha, YOU'RE her last line of defense. Hahaha! Well, time to show her that she possesses nothing which I cannot take away.”
  56. >>He cackles madly, lowering a single digit from his lion-like paw down on you
  57. >>Your brows furrow, and you begin to boil with hatred
  58. >>Not for the way he has spoken to you, not so much
  59. >>But for what he has taken from this world
  60. >>What he has done to your friends
  61. >>Celestia manipulates you. She pulls the strings to her puppet, not that you know that.
  62. >>His claw touches you
  63. >>And, at that second, there is a static discharge that forces his hand away
  64. >>He recoils, whipping his hand up and down on his wrist before putting his finger in his mouth
  65. >>“Yeouch!”
  66. >>Celestia, too, recoils. From wherever she is operating, from wherever she is pulling the strings, she is cast out of your mind
  67. >>But fear is a powerful thing. The dreaded six, five, and nine remain
  68. >>It lingers the whole way through
  69.
  70. >>Empowered by a mysterious zeal, your left hand rockets up to his beard and grips
  71. >>You yank him down to your level
  72. >>“What the?”
  73. >>Your right hand rears to just below your shoulder, and you swing your weight forward
  74. >>Dental appointment
  75. >>Before he can comprehend what's happening, an uppercut rockets into his jaw and knocks his lanky body through the air where it lands in a heap
  76. >>The long, sharp tooth that jutted from his upper lip shunts into the ground next to him, and there is a bloody patch where it once decorated his face
  77. >>Discord runs his hand along his jaw line and senses that he is broken. He looks up.
  78. >>You are already on top of him
  79. >>He lifts a hand to attempt a spell, but you know better
  80. >>You've fought unicorns before
  81. >>With lightning speed you rake your hand to one of his antlers and yank him straight up
  82. >>His spell falters
  83. Fight me
  84. >>You throw a right cross into his long face, rattling his ancestors through his face
  85. Come on
  86. >>You whip him around, yanking him by his antler and throwing a right hook into his jaw
  87. >>The impacts of your fists against his body give resounding, bombastic thuds
  88. >>But that doesn't last long
  89. >>You throw your fist into his eye, driving your body behind it
  90. >>The bone around his eye socket cracks with a sickening splutch of flesh
  91. >>You carelessly throw him by his antler straight down into the checkered floor, not caring if the force of the impact concussed his brain case. If he had one.
  92. That's pathetic.
  93. >>Discord slithered back up, and even with his face as wrecked as it was, all it took was a snap of his fingers before he was restored
  94. >>He picks up his tooth manually and rams it back into his gum
  95.
  96. >>“Hah, I get it now. I can't corrupt you because you're Human”
  97. >>He eyes you with a mixture of amusement and disdain
  98. >>“You're already corrupt beyond all hope. So you're Celestia's silver bullet, huh?”
  99. >>He chortles to himself, and then brings his lion's paw to bear. An array of scythe-like claws emerge from the fingers
  100. >>“Alright, then. Let's see what you can do.”
  101. >>In your mind you can feel a pull. Something is telling you to run away
  102. >>Celestia is telling you to withdraw
  103. >>Your role in this play is done
  104. >>Twilight has restored her friend's memories, and they were on their way
  105. >>But you did not know that, and you did not care
  106. >>For the moment, Celestia has lost control
  107. >>And this terrifies her
  108.
  109. >>Discord lunges at you. He was like lightning, swiping his clawed hand at you
  110. >>But you are experienced, either from this life or your past
  111. >>You are smaller than him
  112. >>You dart in, juking the swipe and throwing a fast half-uppercut with your left hand
  113. >>You vastly favor your right, but the left was closer and had less distance to travel
  114. >>Discord is mildly annoyed, and like a biblical serpent he hisses and lashes out at you with his eagle claw from the right
  115. >>Dukes up, sway low, slop to the outside
  116. >>He overshoots you
  117. >>You throw your hip clockwise and drive a left hook into his nose
  118. >>“Gaagh!”
  119. >>He can bitch and moan all he wants. You possess an arcane knowledge that this world only scarcely knows of
  120. >>You are the premier scientist in your given field
  121. >>Fighting
  122. >>He employs his tail, which you have been foolish to ignore until now
  123. >>He catches you in a snare, and wraps his long, powerful body around you
  124.
  125. >>Celestia does everything she can to regain control of you
  126. >>He constricts you, laughing maniacally as he does so
  127. >>He can feel your body giving way under his strength
  128. >>Celestia can, as well
  129. >>You bang your fist against his body to little effect, you are growing short on air
  130. >>“Hahahaha!” he screams that fucking Q-esque laugh
  131. >>Victory is in his reach
  132. >>You, the 'champion' of Celestia, are seconds away from combustion from the pressure bearing down on you
  133. >>On a final gambit, your hand rockets to his antler once again, and gets a grip
  134. >>“Wha-wha?!”
  135. >>You pull his head and invert it. He is alarmingly easy to manipulate when you get him by the antlers
  136. >>You tug with all your strength, driving his ivory horns into his own body
  137. >>He screams like a million year old dragon would be expected to
  138. >>His grip loosens on you as he scrambles over himself, a knot of flesh and fur and scales thrumming in outrageous pain
  139. >>Free from his grasp, you make your move
  140. >>You stomp your shoe down upon his head
  141. >>Then again
  142. >>And again
  143. >>The antler breaks, freeing his head, leaving the jagget bony appendage tangled in his body
  144. >>His spine is all sorts of messed up
  145. >>His organs punctured in more than one place
  146. >>You grip his head, staring at him coldly
  147. >>Discord wants to be a smartass?
  148. >>He wants to see why you're worth anything? Why humanity is worth anything?
  149. >>You throw a right cross into his face
  150. >>Crack, there goes his snout
  151. >>You lay into him with another cross
  152. >>You love your right, it's so powerful
  153. >>Another
  154. >>And another
  155. >>Crack, crack
  156. >>His bones are like peanut brittle to you
  157. >>He is covered in his own chaos-born blood
  158.
  159. >>It bubbles, it feels like acid to you
  160. >>It burns
  161. >>But it doesn't stop you
  162. >>It sizzles against your flesh
  163. >>But you are liking this
  164. >>Again, and again, you lay into him with cross after cross, each time driving your knuckles further and further into his cranial anatome
  165. >>You are curious, like a scientist
  166. >>What does it look like in there?
  167. >>Let's find out
  168. >>Crack, crack, crack
  169. >>A smile creases your lips
  170. >>Then a smirk
  171. >>And then a psychotic grin
  172. >>He underestimated you
  173. >>And now you have power over him.
  174. >>You don't even notice the individual punches any more, you just watch as he has less and less of a face left
  175. >>You are a human jackhammer
  176. >>Although the thought does not cross your mind, yet, you COULD succeed Discord as the God of... Discord
  177. >>But it does cross Celestia's mind
  178. >>It crosses Celestia's mind the entire time
  179. >>A magical aurora engulfs you
  180. >>There is a flash of light, and then blackness
  181.
  182. >>That night you congratulate Twilight, Rainbow, and all of their friends for defeating Discord
  183. >>Twilight wonders why Discord made no effort to stop her from restoring her friend's memories
  184. >>But you wouldn't know. You weren't there
  185. >>Celestia made sure that's what you believed
  186. >>After the celebration, you settle down for a well deserved slumber
  187. >>Your memories of that fight had been totally wiped
  188. >>No one knows, not even you
  189. >>But Celestia knows
  190. >>Celestia knows that she fucked her experiment up
  191. >>For as terrifying as Discord was, and is, for just one nanosecond you were more so
  192. >>Human nature is not something that Celestia fully appreciated
  193. >>Modifications need to be made to her pet project
  194. >>This is the first night that you feel it
  195. >>As you drift to the land of dreams, you feel an intangible force picking at your mind
  196. >>Given the effectiveness of your fear in keeping you in line, the image of your alarm clock set to 6:59am dominates your dreams
  197. >>You toss, and you turn
  198. >>But the struggle doesn't stop the memories of your past life from being extracted, analyzed for relevance, and destroyed
  199. >>You WILL be Celestia's little human
  200. >>And you WILL be happy
