>You wake up feeling very confused in a tent

>Why are you in a tent and where are you?

>With a loud crack in your back you get out of the sleeping bag and unzip the entrance.

"Woah..."

>In front of you was a beautiful white castle and it seemed you were in the middle of the castle grounds

>You get out of the tent and look around. The animals were playing and relaxing around you.

>You watch a squirrel playfully chase a flamingo, a bear hug a bird, and someone dressed a small white horse in armor.

"Heh thats kind of cute"

>"Hello there, how are you sir?"

"Peas and mice! It talks!"

>You hold onto your chest and try to control your breathing.

>"Sir are you fine? Uh I should take you to the Princess so she can examine you"

"Ugh I must be losing my mind...wait...how are you talking?"

>"Sir if you could come with me we can explain everything. Here have your cane."

>The small horse holds out a cane somehow and offers it to you

>Your trembling hand grabs it and you use it to help keep you straight

>"Come follow me to the castle"

>At a slow pace you go into the castle, on your way you pass a few paintings and some mirrors.

>You look at your white hair and wrinkly skin

"My I am an old fart"

 

>You reach a huge room where at a throne sat a beautiful white horse

>"Good morning Princess"

>The armor pony bowed

>Princess: "Rise guard"

>"Princess I...I found this strange creature in your garden. What is our plan of action?"

>He gave her a nod to which she responded with a heavy sigh.

>With eyes filled with sadness she looks at you with pity

>Princess: "This being is not from around here...come here. I welcome you to Equestria, what is your name?"

>You were about to answer when it hits you. You forgot who you are or what your name was.

"I can't remember..."

>Princess: "For now lets call you Anonymous"

>Anonymous...that stirs something in you

"Sounds great Princess but...is this real life?"

>Princess: "Yes, we have much to talk. Guard, alert the staff and your comrades that we have a guest."

>"Yes princess"

>The guard left you alone with the Princess. For the next few hours you talked and discussed.

>Princess: "And that was the final battle of the war thanks to him. My it has been a long time, care to join me for some lunch?"

"Uhm yes your majesty"

>You follow her to a room with a large table. For some reason a chair with a cracked arm calls your attention. You stand by it and for the Princess to sit.

>You hear the Princess mutter something as you sit after her

>The lunch was joined by some others

>After some more talking and some eating you feel really tired.

"Oh my...I guess my age really must be getting to me."

>Princess: "Tired?"

"Yes your majesty, I apologize for that"

>Princess: "Again, please call me Celestia"

"I am sorry but I can't do that. I guess in the past I felt I had to always be honorable"

>The Princess mutters something again

>Princess: "Okay, my servant here will escort you to a room"

"Thank you Princess Celestia"

>You follow the servant and take a noon nap

 

>You are Princess Celestia and you want to cry.

>The man who just left the room has his Alzheimers getting worse. More and more he wakes up forgetting who he is.

>You go to your throne room and watch the pane glass that has the history of the great war on them.

>"Sister? Is Anonymous awake? How is his condition today?"

"As bad as it has been. Today is the eighth day he wakes up without knowing who he is."

>You look at the pane with a man riding a large dragon over fallen enemies.

>"I wish we could help instead of living the same day for him"

"I am sorry Luna but he has given so much for Equestria...it is the time for us to return that favor to him by letting him live his final days peacefully."

>"The guards seem upset, I have heard some talk about how sad it is to watch the Great General slowly whither away."

>She wipes a tear from her eye

"Yes well we can not do much for him, he requested to age. He will be missed the day he passes. Once that happens I will have that statue in the gardens to remind ponies that no matter what with friendship and faith anyp0ny can accomplish big things."

>Luna comes up to you and hugs you

>"He will never be forgotten, for he will be remembered in the books, in my stars, and in our hearts."

"Come we must do our work before he wakes up. Who knows if he remembers everything or if he wakes up again forgetting everything"
