  1. Name: The Bio-War
  2.
  3. Type: Action: Shooter with melee combat and some RPG features.
  4.
  5. Genre: Science Fiction
  6.
  7. Setting: Primarily takes place on Space Stations, Colonies, alien planets, alien ships, and similar interstellar travel locations.
  8.
  9. Back story: The Galaxy is split up between various corporations that act as the governing bodies and are dependent on each other for continued growth and prosperity. The galaxy is not a utopia of commerce as there are always criminals, pirates, and other dangers. As such private security firms are a big business. One such firm, the Revenge Corp is called into action against pirates, smugglers, and other such small fry when a bigger danger appears.
  10.
  11.    An unknown aggressor, an alien empire that uses bio-ships and other living weapons has appeared from outside the galaxy and attacked colonies and planets with out warning. These aliens seem bent on a war of aggression, no demands, no prisoners.
  12.
  13. Characters:
  14.    This story follows four parallel paths (four stories taking place at the same time) the player is taking part of one of the three depending on which character they choose. *see game play for more details*
  15.
  16. Rhulan: A woman with a great build and wears a form fitting black combat suit. She has shoulder blade length dark red hair.
  17.
  18. Rhoan: A strong, but not bodybuilder huge, man. He has a thing for black combat gear. He has a chin strap beard and mustache.
  19.
  20. Jessica: A female android with long blue hair and wears a silver battle armor suit that is almost form fitting. Considering she is an android the “suit” is really attachments to her body.
  21.
  22. Slaggers: A basic build guy with shaggy brown hair and goatee. He wears green and brown camo-clothes and carries around a large multi-pocketed backpack.
  23.
  24.
  25. Gameplay:
  26.     One could call this four games in one. The stories are parallel following four members of the Revenge Corp through a handful of basic missions before the war starts and through out most of the war. They cross paths in the story, but each one is its own mode and single player through out.
  27.
  28.    Rhulan: This is a stealth based game play, more a hit and run and spy type missions. She uses very fast movements and athletic martial arts in combat. While stronger than a normal human the aliens and their bio-machines are considerably stronger.
  29.    She is one of the two characters to have an MP bar, which is the only limit on her “ammo” which would be the various special attacks she gains through out the game.
  30.
  31.    Mystic Bolt: her starting special move, it’s a basic small violet fireball of mana. It does basic damage to living things but can cause extra damage and various status effects to machines or anything that uses a electromechanical system if she hits it in a “sweet spot”.
  32.
  33.    Her other abilities she gains as she levels up fall into tactical skills needed for getting around and remaining hidden.
  34.
  35.    Confusion: A spell like move that makes living things dizzy for a short time.
  36.
  37.    Lock Breaker: A spell like move that allows her to open locks.
  38.
  39.    Causality Shift: A strange random effect move that could cause a number of different status effects to enemy units, from elemental damage, paralysis, to unfortunately also healing them or strengthening them. There is a slim chance of it also instantly killing them. Basically a roulette wheel of a move.
  40.
  41.   Various enhancement moves can also be gained for her melee strikes like elemental enhancements.
  42.
  43. She uses small arms weapons and blades.
  44.
  45.
  46.
  47.     Rhoan: A heavy hitter brawler (basically a button masher fist fighting gameplay). He is all gungho charge in and smash the enemy up (in short this is the easy mode character). He uses smash, bash, and throws for his fighting style with a martial arts flare (not much changed from his Streets of Darkness days).
  48.     He is one of the two characters to have an MP bar, which is the limit to his power shots. These special attacks tend to have a charge up time and be short ranged.
  49.
  50.    Dark Flames: A large black fire ball that forms directly in front of him. Does more damage to living enemies than mechanical ones.
  51.
  52.    Shock Blast: An electrical blast that goes in a straight line, very effective against pretty much anything that isn’t guarded from electricity.
  53.
  54.   Plasma Beam: A beam of energy, it has mid-range, and eats up a lot of MP, but it does a lot of damage with nothing able to block it.
  55.
  56.    Plasma Shield: A short lived energy shield for defense.
  57.
  58.    He has various other special chi and dark energy enhancement moves for his basic attacks.
  59.
  60.    He can use mid-sized weapons both guns and blades.
  61.
  62.
  63.
  64.     Jessica:   A powerful and fast android, but stealth is not her thing usually. She has quick martial arts moves and lots of fire power. Her gameplay however falls to equipping various items depending on the situation and shooting. Basically her gameplay is a Shooter type game.
  65.
  66.    She has an ammo gauge, life bar, and shield bar. She can use various shields that she picks up. Due to her game play style and dependency on weapons and upgrades she has no set special moves she can carry into any battle. But with her ability to carry any size gun, blade, armor, or explosive in the game she is set for pretty much anything.
  67.
  68.    (she is also one of the two characters able to use cloaking devices)
  69.
  70.
  71.     Slaggers: Physically the slowest and weakest character, he is effectively the hardest mode. Slaggers has no special moves, powers, or weapons; only able to use small arms, small blades, and explosives.
  72.
  73.    He is the human tactical character, his game play is sabotage, reconnaissance, sniper, and detonations. He is a get in, get out, and don’t be seen. In short stealthy spy type game play. His story requires patience, sneaking around, and trying not to get shot or hit much as he is just a human wearing light armors.
  74.
  75.    (He is also one of the two characters able to use cloaking devices).
  76.
  77.
  78. *In short, aside from different gameplay styles and stories these characters could correspond to
  79.   Rhoan: Very Easy
  80.   Rhulan: Easy
  81.   Jessica: Normal
  82.   Slaggers: Hard
  83.
  84.
  85.
  86.
  87.    Time Line importance:
  88.      This was a major turning point in the lives of Rhulan and Rhoan, and much of the galaxy. During the course of these events Rhulan and Rhoan and the others first learn the term “Aesperian” as they encounter others like them during their stories across the galaxy such as Pharaoh, Queen, Lord Xiang, Dream Slasher, and Count Vampyre.
  89.
  90. -special note: this game has potential for prequels and sequels taking place during the MANY years before and during the rise of the Aesperia Corporation before the Ark ship departed for the world of Aesperia.
