  1. Name: The Adventure of Gyro-Lee
  2.
  3. Type: RPG (Traditional Turn Style)
  4.
  5. Genre: Sci-fi / Fantasy
  6.
  7. Setting: The entire game takes place in a land known as Ravashira. The continent is a mixture of Fantasy and Sci-fi elements (swords, sorcery, with mech suits and robots) for example. The environments vary from forests, swamps, plains, desert, mountains, underground dungeons, and massive technological towers.
  8.
  9.    Towns likewise range from modern looking cities, medieval looking towns, and very advanced looking cities and buildings.
  10.
  11. Back story:
  12.    It has been over 800 years since Rhulan defeated the Stingers and united the world under her flag as the Rhulan Empire. It is not a Utopia however as between government corruption and the feeling of oppression as the world is ruled by a single individual with god like powers; even proclaiming herself the goddess of the world many are at unrest.
  13.
  14.    The Lee family, descended from Strata Lee, the pilot of the Ark ship are the personal guard of Rhulan. She controls their family, even having final say on who they can marry (she must approve of these individuals). Shortly after one such approval ceremony Gyro-Lee and his new bride to be Anna Norami return to the city of Hanalan and become mixed up in a rebellion against local corrupt individuals, conspiracies of a coup, and dangerous supernatural forces.
  15.
  16. Characters:
  17.
  18.    Gyro-Lee: A swordsman specializing in quick attacks and air based special moves.
  19.
  20.    Anna Norami: the healer and assist type magician of the group.
  21.
  22.    Magilish: A pyro mage who acts as the groups offense spell caster.
  23.
  24.    Lars the Axe Wielder: The “tank” of the group, big, strong, slow moving, with little magical power but a great deal of offense and defense.
  25.
  26.
  27. Gameplay:
  28.    An RPG of the traditional style, with items, experience points, HP, MP, stats, and turn style combat with the party at the bottom of the screen and enemies at the top. This game is designed to likely be on handheld systems as the story is not overly long with few side quests, level grinding likely to be the real time user. The story progresses as the player reaches events and defeats bosseses unlocking the next playable areas.
  29.
  30.
  31.    The Overworld is a basic map with roads between explorable areas such as towns and fields in which random encounter battles can occur. The player explores the fields and towns from a top down perspective looking for chests, using Inns, talking to NPCs, and having random battles until they encounter a story event. Enemies and how much experience they give increases as the game progresses in the new areas, with one event later on causing the enemies to become stronger at the earlier spots.
  32.
  33.    The game has a multiple cycle feature, after being beaten the future cycles carry over money, levels, and stats. Even allies found again will still have these from before. The carry over can change with difficulty settings being unlocked for the new cycles, the enemies become stronger (sometimes new enemies will appear, and some more regularly than before), and some bosses may even exhibit different and more challenging powers than before.
