- For roughly one week Rick has been kept captive in that room in the black castle he now knew belonged to Sehkmenta in a place she called “The Dark Forest”.
- He looked at the tray of food and drink near the bed he had been sleeping in and thought, “Grey giant pear like fruit, golden colored bread, and water or something that tastes like it, but is actually blue.”
- He laughs at the appearance of the water as Sehkmenta in her humanoid cat form enters the room sniffing the air.
- “Still,” she says, “still you carry my mother’s scent, and it’s not just on you its all over you.”
- Rick with a glare in his eyes says, “You keep me here a week by myself and then walk in here like your continuing your conversation from a week ago!”
- Sehkmenta cocks her head and says, “A week? Really? Hmm guess even after centuries of sleep I can take a small nap and a week vanish to me. Well anyways where was I?”
- Rick exasperated says, “Enough of these games! What is it that you want demon?”
- Sehkmenta acting all high and mighty in her tone says, “Firstly I am a goddess, not a demon, and second as I said my mother’s scent is all over you, even traces of her energy. There is only one way I can think of for that to happen.”
- She turns around with her hands behind her back in a child like innocent manner turning her head to Rick with what to him was a very creepy smile as he had never seen a wide smile on a cat’s face before. She turns to him as he backs up away from her and her seductive smile as she says, “My mother had sex with you.”
- “NEVER!” screamed Rick wide eyed.
- Rick suddenly fell to the floor on his knees with a horrible head ache causing him to hold his hand to his temple. He looks up to see Sehkmenta’s eyes had changed from gold to blue and glowing with a ghostly light. Rick’s dream, or rather wet dream, of the beautiful scantly clad woman in the desert came back to him vividly and but it was different somehow. He remembered falling asleep but then waking up shortly after to see Litmet in her winged cat woman form standing before him with her eyes glowing the same strange blue color as Sehkmenta’s are now. He remembers her changing as he went into a daze into her naked human form and taking his shadow from the ground and wrapping it around her body to form the lustful cloths she was wearing.
- Sehkmenta released her mental hold on Rick allowing him to come back to his senses. As he rose back to his feet Sehkmenta addressed him in a mater of factly tone, “She made you think it was a dream, and had her way with you, thus altering your aura. She mixed your shadow with her own. Don’t you feel it?”
- “Are you trying to convince me not to kill her or trying to convince me to kill her?” asked Rick crossing his arm and raising his eyebrow.
- Sehkmenta expelled a very loud and very strange laugh that while not loud enough to hurt his ears none the less seems to be shaking the very air its self. This disturbed Rick greatly but not as much as the next thing Sehkmenta said.
- “You humans,” Sehkmenta said, “there is no magic or science you could master at this time in your development that could even remotely hurt Litmet, well at least not with out killing your self and every living thing for many miles making the very land uninhabitable.”
- Rick thinks about her comment and the fact she had been watching historic documents, “Wait a minute,” he says, “Are you saying it would take an atom bomb or something like that to kill her?”
- “Hurt her actually,” Sehkmenta says nonchalantly with a wave of her hand as though dismissing the idea, “that weapon’s focus isn’t direct enough to much more than wind her. After all only a portion of the blast would actually hit, if all the force was focused directly on her than you could possibly do more. That is with the strongest new ones the H.E.P. was so gracious to tell me about.”
- Rick thinks, “Those guys know the secrets of governments? I think we need to re-think who’re were dealing with, with these guys”
- It dawns on Rick just how much power she just said it would take to even wind Litmet and he yells out, “Impossible, there’s no way she’s that strong!”
- Sehkmenta retorts, “Your order was created and designed to fight evil freaks, mere creations by beings like myself, although you wouldn’t know that. You and your order could fight with these other creatures and win over and over again and accomplish nothing more than the equivalent of squishing bugs by our standards. There are many creatures much stronger than you could know that never enter your world.”
- She points out the window, “In the very forest below here are animals, think of werewolves as small furry animals by our standards and the ugliest bug demon you ever fought as a mere annoying pest like a house fly here. Such things they live in that forest on that level of the food chain. This place is a world beyond the demon and spirit worlds you have been fighting against all your time with your order. This place is the home world of greater races like the Lit the race my mother belongs too, and the Kuhrai the race of my father… and myself for the most part.
- Rick asks, “Why are you telling me all this? I don’t care if this place is some super hell for god like devils and super monsters. I protect my world from the demons from the many hells and even from anything should it crawl out from this cursed place.”
- Rick starts to pace making grand hand gestures as he continues his speech, “Even if it cost me my life in doing so I would still protect my world from the devils of this super hell of yours! That’s why your telling me all this, isn’t it!? I’ve heard it all before some devil with god like powers comes along and tries to open a portal back to his own world which supposedly has stronger demons in it than his world could ever normally send to Earth. In fact I was there in Argentina when the bugs tried to bring their world to the Earth and in China when the Mind Feeder ghosts tried to open their gateway up, so bring it on.”
- Rick was slightly annoyed by Sehkmenta’s laughter as he thought, “They always laugh”
- His annoyance turned to surprise and even embarrassment as her laughter became hysterical and she held her sides, the laughter echoing through out the castle and causing a flock of weird animals that looked like grey parrots with bat wings to fly out of the woods below.
- She calmed down and turned to Rick saying, “Such a dramatic speech, and such conviction. What a silly plan, I can’t imagine any one trying such a stupid idea. Then again like I said those creatures trying those plans would only be vermin here. Besides if you went back to your order now they would likely hunt you down and kill you so why would you want to continue hunting for them?”
- Before Rick can ask her why she would say something like that and what she meant by it, Litmet herself suddenly landed on the window ledge from above smashing in the sides of the stone wall with her wings.
- Litmet with a hiss said, “I will be taking my new Litkin now my daughter, to be with me as he should have been.”
- Before Rick can utter another word a beam of light shoots out of her eyes hitting Rick directly in the chest and surrounds Rick as a tight blue aura of light. Before he topples over Litmet grabs him ever so gently on the shoulders with her spurred feet and carries him off into the grey sky. High above in the air where Litmet had flown a blue flash in the sky indicated to Sehkmenta that her mother had portaled away.
- Sehkmenta looked to the sky of her world and simply said, “This should prove to be interesting.”
