  1.     Far from the H.E.P. camp the seven Elite Paladins of the order watch through special binoculars that might as well have been called telescopes for their range. They see a very much unexpected sight, two flying monsters seemingly facing off with one flying monster and two on the ground.
  2.
  3.     The leader of the Paladins yells out, “Okay men! The black flying one must be that Litmet thing. The red one is clearly our Doh-Rong target!”
  4.
  5.     The other six stand and get their gear ready to head out when he continues, “Now like Brother Rick said there are also were-Dires down there, he said three but we see two the third was most likely that false god hovering up over there. Now I don’t see any signs of the second cat-demon or the shadow demon we were expecting so what does protocol say to do men!?”
  6.
  7.     The second in command a young man with short brown hair says, “According to protocol we are required to contact the field man to verify the situation, sir!”
  8.
  9.     The leader says, “Exactly right Brother Dill”
  10.
  11.     The lead Paladin picks up his cell phone to attempt to call Rick to no avail, not even a dial tone can be heard.
  12.
  13.     The lead Paladin says, “No contact. Okay men this is it, Move out!”
  14.
  15.     Just as they get in their trucks a bright white light appears before them blocking their way. The whole team can only sit there wide eyed at the sight before them as out from the light steps a gold robed figure with a large gold hood obscuring his face and great golden yellow shining wings. The light seemed to follow the figure as he stepped forward flowing onto him as a glowing aura.
  16.
  17.     The glowing figure spreads his wings and raises his right hand in a halting motion saying in a deep commanding voice, “Do not interfere with the battle about to commence between these two groups of demons. Should you go there now both sides would surely stop fighting each other to turn on you.”
  18.
  19.      As quickly as he had appeared the glowing figure vanishes into nothingness leaving no trace that he was even there not even foot prints in the sand.
  20.
  21.     The lead Paladin says in awe, “My God that was an Angel. Men the Angel’s message was clear, we must wait till the demons have injured and weakened each other; hopefully killing each other before we move in to finish them off.”
  22.
  23.     In the H.E.P. camp Litmet says for all to hear in a great booming voice, “Enough of this silliness, its time for BATTLE!”
  24.
  25.     With that she flew higher into the air and spread her wings wide while screaming out, “SOUL ABSORPTION!”
  26.
  27.     From the sleeping forms of the human workers streams like vertical rivers of blue light flowed up to her body, flowing into her mouth, eyes, wings, and chest.
  28.
  29.     She glowed with an un-earthly glow as she said with a hissing tone, “Now what my little playmates?”
  30.
  31.      The only humans still alive in the entire camp were Al’Suad and Dr. O’Conner who are attempting to just hide out in one of the tents after Litmet’s “feast” for fear of being cut down by either side if they attempt to run and thus draw attention to themselves. Hadd, un-able to take any more of this stare off with Ananth suddenly releases twin green beams of energy from his eyes blasting Ananth directly in her saurian face. Hadd’s attack resulted in a surprised scream from Ananth as her head flung back wards from the blow. Ananth retaliated with a lightning quick snap of her dinosaur yet snake like dislocating jaws around Hadd’s torso just missing his limbs and wings. Hadd struggled to prop her mouth open as he slashed at her with his talon feet and hands. The rapid flapping of his wings against Ananth’s own wings caused them both to spiral around in the air in what could be seen as a rather comical sight, even brushing against the ground brushing up a storm of sand like some bazaar ball and back up into the air. Their many vicious thrashes of claws, fangs, and beak would have seemed more suspenseful to the on-lookers had these two combatants not been so evenly powered and seemingly unable to even puncture the hide of the other.
  32.
  33.     “Enough of this already!” screamed Silver back on the ground, “Litmet it’s time you learned the power of the Were-Dires!”
  34.
  35.     Silver placed her hands forward in an upward palmed claw motion and focused her energy into her palms. A small silver ball appears from nothingness floating above her hands. The ball grows in size as she raises her hand above her head, growing to an immense size.
  36.
  37.     Litmet tilts her head back thinking, “What is that?”
  38.
  39.     Silver’s now giant silver ball flattens into a disk above her head obscuring her from Litmet’s view for a minute making Litmet think it is some kind of shield, until the disk floated high above Silver with her hands still in the air.
  40.
  41.        The silver disk spun around slowly as it rose up stopping with its wide surface facing Litmet from at least fifty feet away, as Silver had moved backwards as the disk grew to give her distance from Litmet.
  42.
  43.     Silver yelled out, “Silver Swords assault!!”
  44.
  45.     From the disk many British style broad swords with oversized decorative
  46. wing like hilts flew from the surface of the disk, which shrank in size with each sword flying from its surface. This barrage of silver blades flew at Litmet with great speed and strength only to either miss their target or to bounce off of Litmet’s wings as she conversely blocked the swords or smacked them away with her wings.
  47.
  48.     Silver growled in frustration as Litmet hovered there saying, “Now that was fun what nex..” Litmet was cut short as she dodged a giant green ball of energy that fell from the sky.
  49.
  50.      This giant ball of green mist like energy slammed into the ground, dissipating to reveal Ananth and Hadd. With out so much as a pause they pushed their claws against the each other’s claws trying to push the other back. Hadd dodged his head back and forth to avoid Ananth’s attempts to bite his head off. She attempted to fling her great serpent tail over her head and bring her tail blades down on Hadd like the stinger of some demonic scorpion. Hadd just barely managed to dodge the attack as it whizzed past his face and body striking the earth kicking up the sand.  With a great punch of his hand added with a burst of green energy Hadd jumped up striking down on the midsection of Ananth’s tail, which was positioned over her body. Hadd’s blow slammed her tail down on her knocking her to the ground with a loud *umph* and a frustrated hiss.
  51.
  52.     His victory was short lived as Ananth positioned her tail directly under Hadd and with a great show of force brought the length of her tail up under Hadd like a catapult flinging him high into the air. Ananth noticed Hadd right himself in the air regaining control of his flight, and as such she with a great flap of her dragon wings chased after Hadd into the sky.
  53.
  54.    As Hadd and Ananth vanished into the sky fighting, O-Vix (formally known as Ophelia) back on the ground, noticed Litmet distracted by Ananth and Hadd’s battle. She brought her hands together as though holding some sword. As she focused, changing her eyes to a dark glowing purple, purple sparks and light began to emanate from the space between her clinched hands. From her hands rose a great purple arched blade like some giant version of her own smaller blades or scimitar with out a hilt and with two bladed ends. She raised her hands and brought the sword down on Litmet, who turned her head just as the blade came down and blocked it with her left wing. In one quick motion she flung the blade away knocking O-Vix on her back and than flapped her wings in the direction of O-Vix with two great white arcs of solid air coming from her wings and splitting the ground on either side of O-Vix, and all she could do was lay there stunned that her attack didn’t work.
  55.
  56.     As O-Vix laid there Silver jumped over to her, leaned down and whispered in her ear, “Shinning needles strategy”
  57.
  58.    O-Vix nodded her head with approval and smiled as she got back up and stood next to Silver. Silver clinched her fists and crossed her arms across her chest in an X-shape. She closed her eyes in concentration as she opened her hands, arms still crossed, with a white light emanating from her hands.
  59.
  60.    Litmet just floated and thought, “I wander what this could be? Maybe it will tickle as much as that last attack?”
  61.
  62.     Litmet chuckled at her own personal joke as Silver opened her now solid silver looking eyes and brought her hands down before her, palms up. Two, three foot tall pillars of spinning light like energy that looked like white smokeless fire spun on and up from her hands. She flung her arms forward with her hands meeting at the wrists in a U-shape and said, “Shinning silver light!”
  63.
  64.     The two pillars of light intertwined like some great shinning drill, and shot forward in a growing beam of spiraling white energy. It hit Litmet’s wings as they folded in front of her like some great cape like shield. To Litmet’s surprise the energy wasn’t drilling at her as she expected, rather it split as though splashing off of her, and spun around her forming a ring.
  65.
  66.     “A trap technique?” thought Litmet, She became even more confused as the ring came away from her and grew in size and thickness as it spun around her like a wheel, emitting white flames as it spun. Litmet looked back and forth rapidly, now alarmed as the white flaming ring grew to a ridiculous size around her and emitted a bright white light blinding Litmet’s nocturnal eyes.
  67.
  68.     “Now!” screamed Silver to O-Vix, O-Vix cracked a smile as she held her right hand before her as though holding a very thin sword.
  69.
  70.      From the space between O-Vix’s thumb and palm a thin flat pink crystal like blade with a triangular tip sprung forth. She tossed the blade, spinning it, into the air revealing both ends had the same triangular tip. The spinning straight blade apparently guided by O-Vix’s now blue glowing gaze went around the spinning ring which was only bright on the inside and just a white spinning cloud on the outside ring. The spinning pink blade stopped dead some twenty feet above Litmet’s head and sprouted more blades of the same shape from its sides, then more, and more, and more, until they had formed a giant ball of pure interwoven blades.
  71.
  72.    O-Vix raised her hands as though she were grabbing the crystal ball of spikes, even though she never left the ground, and yelled out, “Nest of Needles!”
  73.
  74.    She thrust her hands down and the ball came flying down into the ring. However to Silver and O-Vix’s utter surprise the ball stopped atop the ring rather than going through it smashing Litmet as they had planned. Their horror was increased as Litmet’s great black wings impossibly broke through either side of the ring disrupting it into a mist.
  75.
  76.     “Impossible!” yelled out Silver, “Her wings would have to have grown more than twice the length they were to do that!”
  77.
  78.     O-Vix tilts her head and says, “Shouldn’t her wings be pointing down and not up?”
  79.
  80.     Silver noticed the visible wingtips sticking out of the mist were upside down.
  81.
  82.    With several flaps of Litmet’s mighty wings the mist was blown away to reveal Litmet upside down facing away from Silver and O-Vix holding the ball of energy needles up with her clawed feet. To them she had obviously flipped upside down to grab the ball; however she was also physically different than how they had seen her before. Her wings were now more than twice as long as before and were coming from between her shoulder blades rather than being her arms themselves. Rather than being attached to her thighs and upper legs the lower parts of the wings attached at the small of her back just to the sides of the base of her tail. The wings themselves were not only longer but as such thinner by comparison to before which to Silver and O-Vix’s next revelation made since as Litmet was clearly taller than before now easily twelve feet in height. As Litmet bent her head backwards to look behind her and down they noticed through her hanging long hair her that she now had arms. Litmet with one kick launched the crystal ball far into the sky above where it exploded into a great blast of pink light. Litmet quickly turned right side up and faced them again to reveal her new form. She looked nearly identical now, save for her size, wings, and black fur to Sehkmenta.
  83.
  84.    “Well,” said Silver, “I can certainly see the family resemblance now.”
  85.
  86.     “You are right.” stated Litmet, “You are very different than Olyms and Ish, you’re a lot more fun!”
  87.
  88.     O-Vix formed two strange blackish red blades in her hands with black and red fiery auras around them as though the very energy with in them was straining to break free of the shapes she had willed them into. The blades seemed to alarm Litmet causing her to tilt her head back with a very stern and surprised expression upon her face. Suddenly all the combatants in this stand off are distracted by a strange whistling sound from above.
  89.
  90.     The three of them see two pink smoking dots flying down from high above them. As the dots rapidly approached it was clear the two falling stars were in fact Ananth and Hadd with pink smoke and sparks flying off of them doing head dives towards them, both apparently unconscious. They both smashed into the same rock outcropping that Rick had been hiding in earlier, which is shattered into a million pieces upon contact, flying in every direction, leaving behind a crater with Ananth and Hadd lying in it unconscious. This distraction caused O-Vix to lose her much need concentration causing her two energy blades to vanish into two thin shadows and than dissipate away as a black which quickly faded away into nothingness.
  91.
  92.     “Chaos energy!” thinks Litmet upon seeing the energy blades, while noticing her opponents momentarily distracted she thinks, “They are too much like their creators I can’t risk playing with them any more.”
  93.
  94.     With that a great blue electric aura surrounded her body as she flew straight up into the air. She did a back flip in the air turning to face in the direction of Silver and O-Vix back on the ground. With supersonic speed she dove straight down just missing the ground as she turned to fly towards her intended targets. She streaked across the ground kicking up two waves of sand on either side of her like the wake of a boat, than slammed head long into Silver and O-Vix throwing them a hundred feet skipping across the sand like rocks across a stream.
  95.
  96.      Litmet raised herself high into the air, then making a grand gesture with her hands pointing her palms down towards the ground released a tremendous burst of red electrical energy splitting every which way in bolts of red lightning like a red sprite electrical phenomenon, only towards the ground rather than straight up above the clouds where the phenomenon regularly would have occurred. Her blast left nothing but smoldering ashes of the camp with a few ruined buildings on the outskirts of the camp, and two Were-Dires only wearing bits and pieces of charred clothing lying in pain in the far corner of the camp groaning as they attempt to raise them selves up.
  97.
  98.      Having seen the battle from a safe distance the Elite Paladins in what can only be described as an incredibly stupid choice of action decided to move out and finish the job of eradicating their targets, thinking them now weakened.
  99.
  100.     Even as the lead Paladin says, “Okay men they have to all be tired and badly injured after all that lets move out.”
  101.
  102.    A blast of thunder can be heard in the star filled cloudless sky.
  103.
  104.     Litmet looked up alarmed at the sky as it had suddenly been covered by a pitch black cloud that had formed out of thin air. Just behind where Silver and O-Vix are laying in the sand a blue cylindrical beam of light from the cloud above hit the ground. This sudden commotion caused the Elite Paladins to halt their movements and they once more took up their binoculars to see what was happening. Out from the blue beam a great form appeared; a fully thirteen to fourteen foot tall female Dire. Her body is nearly identical in its beauty to Versa herself with a well toned muscular yet feminine frame, nicely pointed muzzle and long silky hair starting between her long fox like ears and going down her back stopping just above her tail, which is long and fluffy like a fox’s tail only much longer by comparison to her body. The color and pattern of her fur would make determining her height very difficult and would strike a normal human as odd as her fur was striped black and white with thin brown lines on the outside of the black stripes. The stripes themselves were zigzagged, curved, and straight in different parts of her body. the stripes on her hair went straight back, while those on her curves such as the hips, inner thighs, above the tail and between her breasts were zigzagged, with curved tiger like stripes on the rest of her body. Even up the back of her ears was like a white and black tiger’s back. With her hauntingly dark blue eyes she scans the scene and looked up at Litmet hovering above.
  105.
  106.     From the blue pillar of light a woman’s voice speaks, “Lady Censa it looks like we are here just in time.”
  107.
  108.    The source of the voice stepped out of the light; she was a Were-Dire in her canine like form wearing a gold seemed grey business suit. Her fur was a metallic gold in color making her blue eyes look like two gems embedded in a gold statue. Like most female Dire and Were-Dire she also had long flowing hair with a nice widow’s peak in front. As she twitched her tail back and forth walking to Censa’s side two more were-Dires stepped out of the light. A jet black furred female in a black business suit who looked almost identical to O-Vix save that her fur was entirely black in color, and a very odd grey male with a whiter abdominal side walked out. His ears and muzzle were a bit smaller than most Were-Dires and his tail had thinner fur with thicker fur on its underside like a wolf or dog’s tail and was short like a wolves as well giving him more a werewolf appearance than the other were-dires. The oddest thing about this Were-Dire was that he was wearing cloths like some Native American dancer with a tan leather vest and tan leather pants. Even on his head, tied on his forehead and below his ears was a tan leather band with one eagle feather sticking out of it on his left side.
  109.
  110.     Silver props her self up groaning, sees the gold colored female were-Dire and says, “Mom?”
  111.
  112.     O-Vix raises her self to a sitting position along side Silver and sees the woman as well and says, “Goldy? What are you doing here?”
  113.
  114.     Goldy pointed her thumb over her shoulder to Censa and said, “Lady Censa sensed a great release of energy here, like a battle was taking place. So she came here to check it out and brought me along, with Grey Wolf and Shadow Vixen as well even.”
  115.
  116.        The black furred female known as Shadow Vixen walked over to the sitting form of O-Vix and said, “Getting into trouble again little sister?”
  117.
  118.     O-Vix stood to her feet brushing herself off and removing the charred bits of cloths said in a bitter manner, “Like you would have done any better.”
  119.
  120.     As Silver stood as well following suite Litmet high above scanned the scene below thinking, “An adult Rai, those two Were-Dires I already fought and now three more. There is no telling what sorts of powers they have and with this Rai here as well I shouldn’t risk fighting them or retrieving Ananth at this time.”
  121.
  122.     Censa with a smug smile on her muzzle looked up to Litmet and projected her thoughts to the flying goddess of destruction, “O-Vix’s chaos chi-blades have you spooked I see, it was that that brought me here. She must have felt like her life was in peril to use that technique, it’s not her favorite move as for her kind that energy stings even to just hold it. I know you are old and powerful but it’s not wise to go around starting fights like that in this day and age. Things have changed quite a bit since your time, there are many who would like to stay a secret.”
  123.
  124.         Litmet shielded her thoughts from the Rai while thinking to herself, “Who does this pup think she is talking to me like that, her energy clearly shows she is much younger than myself and weaker!”
  125.
  126.     However something else strikes Litmet as peculiar about this Rai “Her energy,” Litmet thinks, “it’s familiar somehow, but I know I never met this Rai before, even in all my time as the Black Rose. Yet her aura isn’t all that young, younger than most Rai, most certainly not an elder, yet her energy is familiar, like I have been past her  before but never directly encountered her…hmm”
  127.
  128.    Litmet yells down, “Tell me little Rai with the impudent tongue who are your parents?”
  129.
  130.     Fulfilling Litmet’s suspicions Censa proudly yelled back, “I am a daughter of Versa and Rhuen.”
  131.
  132.     Litmet thinks on this, “Versa, the last I saw of her she was eating a mammoth during her last pregnancy and than there is Rhuen. I see, she must be their infamous daughter rumored to control the supernatural scene in New England, these creatures around her have her scent. She must have made them, no wander they are so powerful, they must have gotten that power from her and her from her parents. So all of my enemies before me may have that most un-natural of magics as a weapon, very well.”
  133.
  134.       Litmet’s arms fused like shadows into her shrinking and repositioning wings. Her body as well shrank back down to her normal nine foot form as she yelled back, “Very well I will leave you in peace but heed my words, do not interfere with me daughter of the god of darkness and the goddess of the wild. If you do as I say I may leave your little pets alone. But don’t fool yourselves I do not fear your chaos energy as you believe. It is merely an inconvenience to me!” With that she flew away into the night sky.
  135.
  136.     Shadow Vixen asked Censa, “So chaos energy can hurt her huh?”
  137.
  138.     Censa said, “Yes, but it can’t kill her. Beings like her that are used to never having their own kind around except once an millenia and feed on much weaker creatures as a rule, even playing with their food just aren’t used to feeling pain, it drives them nuts.”
  139.
  140.     Censa laughed, shook her head and continued, “Any way lets get our people out of here, get Silver, O-Vix and Hadd to our medical facilities.
  141.
  142.     As they turn to the standing pillar of blue light Censa puts up her hand indicating for them to stop and says, “Just to annoy that cocky flying cat bring her pet Doh-Rong along as well.”
  143.
  144.     Grey Wolf asks as he picks up the now humanoid sleeping form, “Where should we take her boss?”
  145.
  146.    Censa answers him with a smirk on her face, “Take her to the L.A. prison facility.” With that they all walked into the blue pillar of light which promptly went up and vanished along with the black cloud.
