In the snow filled forests of Northern France the lone (still robed) figure of Danagan trudges through the snow to his destination. Danagan thinks as he approaches the ruins of an old small medieval castle, “Why did I have to do this during the winter? Damn that Ananth.”
The old ice and snow covered ruins look like something from a horror story. Danagan searches deeper and deeper into the old decaying stone ruins. At last after an hour of searching he has found the door Ananth told him about. Down a flight of stairs Danagan found the old wooden barricaded door with a small golden colored cross in the top right corner with two golden wings and a halo upon the cross. Through this door is a long winding dark cold stone downward sloped hallway going deep under ground. At the end of this hall way is another old wooden door, upon this door another of the strange crosses is attached to the corner. However in the center of the door was a strange symbol; a red circle with a red hourglass in it with each corner of the hourglass touching the inner part of the circle, and through the middle of the hourglass where the top and bottom meet was a red horizontal line that bent up before touching the circle on the right side and bent down before touching the left side of the circle.
Danagan thinks, “This is the door all right, strange circle symbol and that cross as well.”
Through the door Danagan finds five same sized smallish crates each with the same red circle symbol on them. The crates are scattered evenly apart in a straight line from his right to left. Danagan looks about the room as he approaches the crates. The walls and even the ceiling have deep gashes on them and even scorch marks. The floor also is covered in scorch marks and gashes as well as odd puncture mark holes all about. Danagan can smell the stagnant stench of old dried blood that is still present due to the deep underground stagnant environment. As he walks up to one of the crates he sees behind them the scorched and shattered bones of several humans. Danagan simply *humph*s at the bones than pries open one of the five crates before him,
*SHINK!*
Danagan barely had time to avoid five grey thin blades shooting straight up from the opened crate towards his head. As the five blades retract into the crate Danagan can see they were in fact the rapidly grown nails of a hand on a severed arm in the crate. After retracting the blades into the pale grey fingers leaving only long sharp fingernails the arm starts to flop about in the crate like a fish on land using snaps of its elbow to kick its self about.
Danagan says as he looks at the other four crates, “This creature is chopped up into five pieces and is not only alive but able to attack as well; no wander they want this creature.”
Danagan suddenly jumps as a voice speaks out, “Who is there!?”
Danagan follows the voice and pries open the far right crate to find a grey skinned head and neck with silver eyes, pale lips, and long white hair inside.
The head is clearly still alive and looks up at Danagan with its soulless eyes and says, “I said WHO ARE YOU!?!”
Danagan says in a stately manner, “I am Danagan of the Doh-Rong; I assume you are Count Fontaine the NeunToter?”
The head of Count Fontaine says, “Who else would be in magical crates created by Rhuen with his symbol on them in the basement of Fontaine Castle? I trust those humans bragged about putting me here?”
Danagan responds, “Not to my knowledge. I am here on behalf of another Doh-Rong named Ananth.”
Count Fontaine says, “Hmm, That name sounds familiar; Some African blood goddess or something I think. So no bragging huh? *humph* Perhaps Rhuen killed those humans after he put me in these crates. Well enough about the past, not that I have had anything else to think about in these God Damned crates! Any way, dinosaur vampire what exactly brings you here to my tomb of sorts?”
Danagan says, “Ananth and another ancient vampire goddess called Litmet have a request of you. They or rather I will release you from these crates if you join us to usher in a new dark empire or you could just stay in those crates.”
Count Fontaine thinks, “Who is this joker? That was unbelievably corny. But what the Hell might as well, better than being stuck in here forever.”
Count Fontaine says, “Yes I give you my word I will help create an empire of darkness.”
With a wicked smile Count Fontaine looks on as Danagan opens all the crates freeing him at last.
