- Scene 1: Bison Lab:
- In an undisclosed location, hidden away from the eyes of the public and authorities alike is the Shadaloo base. Deep inside this high tech armored compound that would make any paranoid politician proud, inside the large control room its large screens flash over the still face of the self proclaimed General, Bison. A team of scientists work feverishly to finish their programming for one of Bison’s most ambitious projects.
- Bison addresses this team with a single word, “Well?”
- The head scientists turns and announces, “Yes, General Bison the satellites are all in place in only a few more moments we will be able to precisely locate the strongest Ki signatures on Earth.”
- “Good.” Utters the stone faced dictator.
- The scientists stare at the screen, and with a few more adjustments announce that they are ready to test the system.
- The head scientist turns to Bison, “Sir, we are ready to begin out test, your spy androids are already in place watching the top fighters from the tournaments, we will use their locations corresponding with our system to gauge its accuracy. If not the satellites also surpass the androids by being able to zoom in on their targets and track them by working in synchronization with each other. We will begin by having the system locate the twenty highest ki levels.” With a push of a button the large map of the globe on the screen lights up twenty dots, and twenty androids. The head scientist’s face turns pale. He is afraid to turn too Bison, however he has no choice as the deep tone master of Psycho Power points at the screen and says, “Care to explain to me good doctor how it is that NONE of my androids are anywhere near these dots?” He points to one off the coast of Brazil, “Accurate good doctor? That one is in the ocean. Is that supposed to be that Brazilian fighter…Oro?”
- The doctor mutters out, “Perhaps a few bugs are still in the system sir. Maybe twenty was more than it could handle right now. We’ll switch it to the top two Ki signatures, and I know you’ll see our location and one other.”
- The other scientists quickly change the settings on the computer. And the screen changes to two lights. The head scientist begins to tremble, one light is in Japan, the other is in Romania, neither are anywhere near their base.
- Bison scowls, “So according to your machine my Psycho Power isn’t
- amongst the top two, nor was it amongst the top twenty.” He points at the light in Japan, “Is that Ryu?”
- One of the scientists mutters, “Uhm, no sir, the android spies have him placed in Brazil at this time.” He turns on a side monitor to show footage from the android’s feed from only the day before showing Ryu in a Brazilian market.”
- “Zoom in on the Japanese signal.” He commands.
- “Sir,” interjects the scientist, it may just be…”
- “Do it.” Demands Bison causing the scientists to scurry and bring online the satellite live feed of the target area.
- “You we’re going to say at this time good doctor how accurate and effective in real time the machine is correct.” States Bison.
- “ye…yes.” Staggers the scientist as the satellite zooms in on Tokyo and shows the roof of an arcade. Bison’s eyebrow rises, “So the strongest Ki power in the world is not training in the mountains, hidden in my base, or deep inside some secret lab. The strongest fighter in the world is at an arcade?”
- “Hmm” thinks Bison as he turns and sits in his chair. “I believe your machine is working. I have long suspected the strongest fighters were not drawn to the tournament.” Bison raises his arm to his chest as though reliving a phantom pain, “No, they were drawn to others in the tournament. Many more may be out there who don’t care about applause or recognition from the masses.”
- He stands again, “Doctor, bring back up the top twenty.”
- The confused scientists regain some composure, confident the system is working properly and no longer as fearful of reprisal that the expected targets didn’t come up. The screen once more flashes the same twenty dots as before, “I suspect,” says Bison, “if it was a malfunction that it wouldn’t be showing me the same exact points as before?”
- “Yes sir.” states the head scientist.
- Bison looks over the various dots, “Watch them,” he says, “keep track of their movements and zoom in when possible. I want twenty more units sent to find these people. I will have them.”
- Scene 2: Hollywood:
- Hollywood, the city of glamour, the palm trees lining the streets and the shining sun. A black limo with tinted window, contrasted against the colorful surroundings, hides inside an ominous figure, Bison. Driving the limo an equally gruff looking figure, this one dressed in much more traditional clothing, Balrog.
- In a dressing room at a famous studio, international pop-sensation and actress Felicia prepares for her head shot signing on the lot for the fans of her block buster movie “Darkstalkers”. Felicia turns from her mirror looking at her nun clothing on the bed, knowing that while the public is becoming more accustomed to the cat-people who have become more public, inspired by her career and acceptance, she knows they still aren’t too keen on the fact that while she has fur she is still technically walking around naked.
- There is a knock on the door, “who is it?” she asks as one of the assistants for the signing answers her that there is a wealthy fan of hers there who wants to meet her. Felicia opens the door still sans her clothing to see the assistant with a large man in a red soldier outfit behind him, “oh, high” says Felicia, “nice cos-play costume.” With her finger to her chin and head upturned in thought she says, “Though I’m not certain who you’re dressed as.”
- “I am not a cosplayer.” States Bison coldly, “I am here looking for the strongest fighters in the world, and your ki energy is amongst them.”
- Felicia gets a serious look on her face momentarily before her ears droop and she scratches her face again in a posture that had this been an anime one would have seen a sweat drop on her forehead, “oh well.” She says, “could we talk about this in the back lot please?”
- “Very well.” Says Bison; “My limo is waiting for us.”
- Felicia looks a little confused as they walk out the back entrance. In the back lot she sees a limo waiting with a large muscular man in a business suit standing beside it. Bison stops noticing Felicia has stopped walking and is just standing there scratching her head. Bison turns, “what are you waiting for?”
- Felicia says in a somewhat confused tone, “wellll, to be honest I thought for a moment back in my dressing room that you might have worked for this really bad guy I ran into before, what with the whole looking for strong fighters with high ki and what not. This guy was a really bad guy looking for strong souls and sucked me into this other dimension.”
- Felicia looked oddly excited as she talked, “meow, yeah he was this really evil guy, Jedah, yeah; in fact we’re planning to have him in the next movie. Mr. S the director really thinks Jack Nicholson would do the part great from what I told him.”
- Bison scowls, “I don’t think you understand the seriousness of the situation. I am General Bison, the leader of Shadaloo. I have used the World Warriors tournament for years to scout out the strongest fighters in the world to join my organization. My scientists created a way to track down strong ki energy.” With a twisted smile he says, “Strong ki energy does not mean a strong fighter I imagine, but your potential could be brought out with my technology. As one of my loyal dolls you could be turned into one of the strongest fighters in the world, instead of some dismal actress who wastes her money on some orphanage.”
- “mrrr?” meows Felicia genuinely confused.
- A wide scary smile crosses Bison’s face. “You will be coming with me, whether you agree or not.”
- “ummm….nope.” smiles Felicia waving as she turns to leave back to the studio.
- “Stop right there!” screams Bison, “I’ll show you the strength of Psycho Power!” Bison hovers above the ground sliding feet first towards Felicia like a skater over ice. To Bison’s surprise she side steps the move easily, looking back at him as he passed with an innocent embarrassed expression on her face like watching a child trying to fight, at least this was Bison’s interpretation of her expression.
- Enraged Bison’s body is engulfed in purpled flames, “wow.” says Felicia, “Never saw a human do something like that before.”
- “Now learn what it means to have true strength.” growls Bison through clenched teeth, “Psycho Crusher!” Bison spins through the air fists first like a torpedo. Felicia hops into the air and onto Bison’s spinning body walking on all fours sidestepping his frame like a lumber jack on a log. Felicia hops off his the heels of his boots as he rights him self.
- Bison is only made angrier by her seemingly toying with me, as Balrog can only stare in disbelief at what is transpiring right before his very eyes, as each of Bison’s strikes, kicks, flips, slides, and other impressive moves are dodged by this cat-woman who as far he knows is simply a nun and actress, with a tail perhaps, but none of their research on the cat-people has shown them as being any stronger than a human.
- While watching the scene something dawns on Balrog, something he knows can’t be lost on his boss as Bison speeds up his attacks, that the cat-girl has only been dodging not attacking. Bison’s strikes flash by with each strike glowing with his Psycho Power, however with each glowing blur Felicia side steps each punch and each kick, until one grazes her ear and a reflect action causes her to strike out with her claw sending him staggering back holding his chest with hour bleeding gauges. Bison glares at his wound, lost in his rage to realize she went right through his armor and his Psycho aura with out much difficulty.
- Felicia looks wide eyed thinking, “Oh man, oh man, he won’t stop. I have to do something or I might really hurt him.” She looks around realizing he too is causing damage to the lot as each strike she dodges he connects with a surface breaking the lot road to gravel, had they fought inside she is sure he would have destroyed the building and anyone inside to try and hit her. With a sigh a determined look crosses her face and with a smile says, “okay time to get serious.”
- “Psycho Crusher!” screams Bison as he flies forward with his attack. Felicia hops into the air and with one kick sends him crashing into the road leaving a small crater. She hops into the air like a blue rubber ball bouncing on his back burying him even deeper. She stops, crouched on his still back. Bison raises his head as bits of gravel drip off his face like sweat, growling and huffing. Felicia with a sigh smacks his head with one good *whap* rendering him unconscious.
- She hefts him on her shoulder carrying him to his limo, “sorry, If I didn’t do something I might have really hurt him by accident. Sorry again.” She leaves him in the back seat of the limo as a bewildered Balrog closes the door and drives away. Felicia is met back at the door by a man with spiky silver hair and wearing sweat pants and a t-shirt. “You are too nice.” He says, “that human was really trying to kill you, guys like that don’t take getting beaten too easily.”
- “Oh don’t be so pessimistic.” She says as she heads back inside, “That guy was stronger than most humans, but I’ve coughed up fur balls that have given me more trouble. So don’t worry I don’t think he’ll bother me again. So come on Jon lets get back to my fans…oh wait, I need to get dressed first.”
