  3.
  4. “Ah, come on, it will be fun!”
  5.
  6. “I don’t think it would be fun at all.”
  7.
  8. Lyra has been pestering Bonbon for an hour during their stroll in the market one faithful morning. They were in the market to purchase some supply just for the week and Lyra just sudden pop a question to Bonbon and she responded negatively.
  9.
  10. “It’s just for the weekend and I doubt anything bad would happen to us if we went exploring the wilderness.”
  11.
  12. “I just don’t think it’s a good idea. The last time we try something you consider fun, we end up in the hospital for a week!”
  13.
  14. “Its not MINE fault that there was parade accident and we just so happen to in the front seat when it blows over. Beside, everyday, we hang around, talk over there, buy some stuff there, and relax in the park.” Lyra pause for moment, trying catch her breath. “Look, it kind of gets boring doing the same old thing over and over and over again. I want some excitement and what better way to do it by having a little camp out in the wilderness!”
  15.
  16. Bonbon looks concern but annoy by Lyra’s reaction. “Well I just don’t know. I am worry about our safely. There are monsters we don’t even know that exist that live in the wilderness. We could be eaten!”
  17.
  18. “How about this; if we both goes camping together, I would let you pick any fun event for the both of us to enjoy. Anything!”
  19.
  20. “Fine, I guess. I guess we have to get our camping supplies and….
  21.
  22. “Already taken care of!”
  23.
  24. Lyra reach out her saddle bag and pull out a giant box containing a tent, camping equipment, and some provision.
  25.
  26. “You have this plan out from the beginning, didn’t you? And how did you do that with that bag?”
  27.
  28. “And it was easier then I thought, getting you to come camping with me! And the bag? I took a book from that library and it taught me a few new trick like turning a bag into a magic bag!” Lyra said as she was grinning and nodding her head up and down.
  29.
  30. “Why do I even ask…..”
  31.
  32.
  33.
  34.
  35.
  36. It was the next morning when Lyra knocking on Bonbon’s door hastily. Lyra hears a disgruntled Bonbon as she open up the door.
  37.
  38. “Its still too early in the morning. The sun is barely up!”
  39.
  40. “I know! I know! I just want to start this little trip early so we can find a nice camping site up a cliff I wanted to visit!”
  41.
  42. “Well, let me grab a bite to eat from the kitchen befor….”
  43.
  44. “No need! Here, have a bite!”
  45.
  46. Lyra shoves bagel into Bonbon mouth. Bonbon is quite upset about this but Lyra didn’t seem to notice.
  47.
  48. “No need to thank me. You also do not have to worry about carrying the camp equipment. I got that cover and I got ‘Camping for Dumbies’ just in case things turn for the worst! Let get going!”
  49.
  50. Lyra grab Bonbon’s hoof and rush her to the edge of the village. Bonbon tries to protest to take it slow but the excitement from Lyra is too much.
  51.
  52.
  53.
  54. The two ponies walk in an uncharted path fill with tree from beyond their sight. The ray of sunlight glimmer through the cracks between the leaves. The birds are chirping and some woodland critters scatter past them. Lyra is skipping on the path while Bonbon is wary of her surrounding.
  55.
  56. “This is nice and all but I think we should be heading back. Maybe we can go to the park instead!”
  57.
  58. “Don’t be silly, Bonbon! We barely out of the city limit. Come on, lets head this way! Maybe the nearby stream might calm you down a bit!”
  59.
  60. They came across a stream. The water is sprinkling from the reflection of the sun. The fishes swim freely southward of the stream while a nearby otter tries to catch it. Lyra sat near the stream and closes her eyes. Her ear twitches as she hears the stream flow.
  61.
  62. “Can you hear it, Bonbon? The flowing nature that passes by? The crisp sound of the stream as the water hitting the pebbles in the waterbed?  The splashy noise from a hungry otter? What is a better way to appreciate this by listening?”
  63.
  64. “All I see is a stream.”
  65.
  66. “You’re no fun. Just close your eyes and listen! Or better yet, look at it while you are listening to the stream!”
  67.
  68. Bonbon tries her best to follow along what Lyra is trying to say. She focuses hard on observing the stream and listening to it.
  69.
  70. “Well, it is like of pretty but we can do this at the park.”
  71.
  72. “Well this went to a bad start.”
  73.
  74.
  75.
  76.
  77. Lyra and Bonbon had a small picnic by the stream before they head out deeper into the forest. Bonbon is still skeptical about the trip and becoming more nervous every minute.
  78.
  79. “Where are going anyways? It seems we are getting lost. I thought we are going to some cliff.”
  80.
  81. “Don’t be ridiculous. What better way to enjoy nature by wandering around aimlessly in the wilderness?”
  82.
  83. “You are not making this any easier and I don’t think you know where this cliff is.”
  84.
  85. “Just have a little faith. You’ll see!”
  86.
  87.
  88.
  89.
  90. The sun is beginning to set as well as Bonbon’s temper. Wandering around in the forest for an hour did not suit Bonbon well and her patience is running out.
  91.
  92. “We are lost! Let just head back to Ponyville before we get eaten by something in these woods!”
  93.
  94. “No, you just have to trust me on this, I am sure we can find a camping site that would suit our need.”
  95.
  96. “Well, where is it? It can’t be these trees. We are not squirrels!”
  97.
  98. “Fine! How about this for a camp site!”
  99.
  100. Lyra shout as she brush off a large bush that was in the way. In clear view, they are on a cliffside, with all the scenery seen before their eyes. There is Ponyville, Canterlot, and a whole lot of forested area all over the place. There is the sky, beginning to twinkle with the stars as the moon rise. Lyra becomes awe by this.
  101.
  102. “See, SEE! This is what I want to show you! We can camp out here; it will be perfect!”
  103.
  104. “Well fine, lets just sleep out here and get it over with. You seem so determine to come all the way here just to see this scenery.”
  105.
  106. Lyra begins set up the tent and a camp fire as Bonbon lay on the ground looking at the stars after a quick snack. She seen stars all the time in Ponyville all the time but she wonder why would this be any different. Then a chord was struck. A blissful sound of the lyre fill the air as it distorts Bonbon’s vision. The star swirls with every pluck of the lyre. It dances and the moon follows its foot step. The spark of the campfire glimmer and dim as it raise to the sky and the warmth of the flame cool Bonbon’s coat. Her heart began to calm and her eye become heavy with the smooth sound of the melody. Bonbon fell asleep, smiling, and reassure about her safety of the camp site. At the background, Lyra still plays her lyre, playing her instrument at the edge of the cliff, hoping to please her listener in the forest.
  107.
  108.
  109.
  110.
  111. “This is boring Bonbon! Why do we have to come here?”
  112.
  113. “You made a bargain, Lyra. I get to choose any place I want for us to hang after that camping we had.”
  114.
  115. “It’s the theater, Bonbon. I would like it if it were an opera but a theater? I could just read a book and use my imagination about that if I want some story telling!”
  116.
  117. “Don’t be so defensive. I follow along with your camping idea and I do admit, I did have a great time. It was the best sleep I had in ages, in fact! Beside we are holding up the line.”
  118.
  119. “Fine, let go already…..”
  120.
  121. Lyra pouts as both she and Bonbon bought their ticket in the local theater. Who knows what they will be watching but whatever it is, Bonbon hopes this might impress Lyra.
