Random Dream of a Yellow Pony

“Oh, that was a wonderful bath.”

 

Fluttershy step out of the bathroom, wearing her comfy sleeping robe, satisfied from the warm, steamy bath. She prepares her bed and plump onto it as she undresses herself from her robe and let her coat feel the soft touch of her bed sheet.

 

“It’s been a good night. I got Angel to eat his meal, I sang the mouse to sleep, I got the chickens to stay in their coop, and I got to get bath with the extra time I have. Oh maybe I might get nice dream tonight!”

 

Fluttershy was quite excited as she grab and tuck herself with a large, smooth blanket. She turns off the lamp and the darkness sink in the room. The open window cast some of the darkness, however, with the light of the moon and the stars. The moon glimmers warmly on Fluttershy’s bed with welcoming warmth of light. Fluttershy yawn and cover her mouth as she does, gracefully.

 

“Good night.”

 

Fluttershy opens her eye to a meadow, far beyond her sight. The field is rich with flowers. There are some trees scatters close to each other. The grasses on the field are greener then anything Fluttershy seen in her life. There are loads of animals playing on the field. There is a mouse playing tag with a squirrel, a bunny arm wrestling a raccoon, birds singing and dancing in the sky, and there even a bear, which is using a tree as a back scratch. With so much animals in sight, Fluttershy smile as rushes toward the critters, hoping to befriend them. All the critters stop what they were doing and turn their attention to Fluttershy.

 

“Don’t be scare little ones, I mean any harm! Here, have a look at this.”

 

Fluttershy took out a picnic basket out of nowhere and set up a picnic. The basket seems to be endless as Fluttershy shove her hoof inside of it to grab some meals out of the basket. There are some sandwiches, cake, cookies, pie, chips, ice creams, teas, juices, cheeses, nuts, and even a large jar of honey. Anything that Fluttershy wants, it came out from the basket. As tempting as the food maybe, the critters seem skeptical at the yellow pony’s motive.

 

“Umm, please, are you sure you do not want an itsy bitsy bite?” Fluttershy took a tiny chunk of cheese and offer to the closest mouse. The mouse hesitates as it gets closer and closer to the cheese. The auroa it gave off alerted the mouse’s stomach. Right at the point where the mouse can touch the hoof, it snatch the cheese off the hoof and huddle back, taking little nibbles. It nibbles and nibbles until there is hardly any cheese left for the mouse to nibble on. It hurries back to Fluttershy, wanting more cheese to satisfy its hunger. The other animals soon follow along and before they knew it, they are having a nice time having a picnic.

 

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!”

 

The picnic is disrupted by a strange noise and Fluttershy look to see where it is coming from. In the sky she saw a blue blur, trailing a line of rainbow, flying all over the place, not taking a moment to stop.

 

“Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!”

 

“Dash? Dash, is that you? What are you doing going so fast? Can you even stop? Oh my, oh dear, what can we do, what can we do?”

 

Fluttershy tries to think for second as to how to stop the blue speeding bullet. She then asks the birds to fly with her to the sky and hope to stop Rainbow Dash head on. They swarm to the sky and Fluttershy yell at Dash to come to her direction.

 

“Dash! Over here! Dash!”

 

Fluttershy kept on yelling and yelling but to no avail. Just when Fluttershy tries to come up with a different plan, Dash ram into her and the birds. The force scatters Fluttershy and the birds all over the place. As Fluttershy rocket toward the picnic site, the bear saw her flying to it direction and tries to catch her. With both arms reach out, the bear close its eye and hope to catch the yellow pony. The yellow pony smack on to the bear’s chest and it caught her. The force causes the bear to tip over and create a shockwave, rumbling the landscape.

 

“Oh thank you, bear. You save me from such an accident. Hey, what is this?”

 

Fluttershy notice something the basket that was there earlier. The basket itself was tipped over from the rumble of the earthshake. It seems that there are some trinkets like a ball or a toy hammer coming out of the basket’s opening.

 

“What if…..”

 

Fluttershy flys to the basket and stick her arm in it, removing random items from it. She tries again and a different item appears out of the basket. And again. And again.

 

“No, no, no, no, maybe later, no, no, THAT IT!”

 

Fluttershy struggle to get the item she wanted from the basket. With a bit pulling, a giant bug catching net appears. She kindly asks the bear to help her with the net and begin sweeping the sky. Sweep, sweep, sweep! All these sweeps are a miss! Dash just kept on flying around it.

 

“Come on, just one more swing!”

 

With all their might, both Fluttershy and the bear swing the net the hardest they ever can. With one fell swoop, the net caught the speeding bullet and it crash landed to the ground.

 

“Oww………..”

 

“Dash, Dash! Are you okay? Are you hurt? Here, let me get some bandages from the basket.”

 

“I’m fine, I’m fine. A little banged up but I’ll live.”

 

“Oh thank goodies you are alright then!”

 

Fluttershy gave Dash a heartfelt hug. Dash tells Fluttershy that she just started flying and she couldn’t stop. She thanks Fluttershy, and the bear, in stopping her from flying forever. Fluttershy offer Dash some of the meal from the picnic to help ease her mind from such trouble she made. Dash seem awfully chill as she is having good time with animals and the food, Fluttershy ponder. She didn’t let it get to her because hey, they are having a good time.

 

“Oh I wish this never end!”

 

Fluttershy waken up all the sudden as she mutter that to herself.

 

Later that day, Fluttershy met up with Dash in the usual spot in Ponyville. Fluttershy want to tell Dash what she has dreamt about.

 

“So what did you dream about? Tell me!”

 

“Oh I dream about you and ummmmmm….”

 

Fluttershy’s memory seems to be in a haze. She tries to think back real hard about the dream but yield no result.

 

“Oh fiddlestick, I forgot…”

 

“Well, that is a shame. Anyways, Pinkies is giving out free cakes! Lets get them before they are all gone!”

 

“Well, I am a bit hungry. Let go!”
