  1. >Savage Anon stood in shock as he uncovered the victim of the strange group's identity
  2. >It was Twilight Sparkle!
  3. >He was very worried and shocked, and he needed to get her to town
  4. >He picked up his feet and carried her down the mountain
  5. >He knew one false move and they would fall, killing them both
  6. >So instead, he took his time switchbacking
  7. >Which wasted valuable time
  8. >Once he reached the flat Earth again, he broke into a run
  9. >He reached ponyville in about an hour
  10. >Once there, he shouted for help
  11. >Nurse Red-heart came quickly
  12.
  13. >Within minutes, she was in Ponyville general hospital
  14. >She was stabilized
  15. >The Nurse approached Anonymous
  16. "Thanks for getting her so quickly. She wouldn't have made it much longer."
  17. >Anonymous nods, he's too deep in thought about what happened in that cave
  18. >The Nurse asks him about it
  19. "Anonymous, what happened to Twilight?"
  20. >Anonymous looks at her
  21. "I mean, she seems mostly alright except for the blood loss and minor cuts, but she also seems... lifeless. Like she has no will to live."
  22. >Anonymous perked up, remembering something
  23. "Well," he began, "When I heard those strangers talking, they extracted some of her blood that was sorta... glowing? And they claimed it was "Vitae". They were about to kill Twilight after they got it so I stopped them."
  24. >Nurse Red heart thinks for a moment
  25. "...That sounds familiar. But it sounds like... ancient medicine. Outdated, from the times of the pony tribes. You should got to a library and look for it."
  26. >Anonymous nods
  27. >After a few minutes of waiting, he gets up and leaves, just to bump into Twilight's best friends and Spike.
  28.
  29. "Anon!" Pinkie said, jumping up and hugging him
  30. "Pinkie!" he said gruffly, his armor and weapons clattering from the force of the hug
  31. >Pinkie hugged for a few seconds then dropped down
  32. "We heard about Twilight, so we rushed over as soon as we could!" Rarity said, looking concerned
  33. "Don't worry," Anon said, "She's fine... At least her body is. I don't know how her mind is taking it."
  34. >The ponies look concerned
  35. >Spike looks most concerned of all.
  36. >Anon steps to the side and lets them rush into the room, and into the strict hooves of Nurse Redheart, stopping them from causing too much ruckus.
  37. >Anon stood behind them, and waited a few minutes
  38. >Then, he silently waved Spike to come over
  39. >Spike did, and Anon asked him a simple question
  40. "Spike, could you send a letter for me?"
  41. >Twilight was in good hands now, Anon needed to get to the bottom of this.
  42.
  43. >Anonymous gave out the details of the cave incident, Spike looked disgusted as he wrote, but he did
  44. >Anonymous asked him to send it
  45. >Spike breathed in and breathed fire upon it, sending it to Celestia
  46. >Anonymous then stood over Spike, towering over him
  47. >He pointed a finger down at the dragon
  48. "This is a secret, understand?"
  49. >Spike nodded
  50. >Anonymous left the hospital silently
  51. >He returned home
  52.
  53. >As he walked up the old path, he heard shouting
  54. "...Anon? Anon?"
  55. >It was pipsqueak
  56. >He turned the corner and saw Pipsqueak outside his door, pounding on it
  57. "Anon?! Are you home?"
  58. >What the fuck was he doing here? Anon told him to wait a few "days" not a few "hours"!
  59. >Anon began to walk up, and was about to yell out to him, when he saw some movement around the house
  60. >It was getting to sunset, so he didn't see what it was, but he had a pretty good idea
  61. "Pipsqueak! Run towards me! Run!"
  62. >Pipsqueak scrambled and ran down the path, with three powerful figures right behind him
  63. >The manticores!
  64.
  65. >Anon saw the biggest one, the Alpha, and the burn on his eye
  66. >He smiled at that, he would have to put out the other one if he was to get rid of that stupid animal for good
  67. >Anonymous realized he was armed with a mace, and said FUCK under his breath. This was the wrong weapon!
  68. >He would have to make due
  69. >As the manticores charged right behind Pipsqueak, Anonymous readied himself
  70. >He jumped forward, now next to the startled young colt and bashed the first manticore in the head with his mace, jarring it and making it stumble to the side
  71. >He raised his mace and struck at the Alpha, but it was a glancing blow and the manticore turned and swiped with a paw
  72. >the claws lightly scratched Anon's face
  73. >Anon bashed with his shield, knocking the manticore off it's balance as the third one jumped around him
  74. >He raised his mace, which gave an opening to the manticore
  75. >Then pipsqueak stabbed the manticore in the leg with a newly forged dagger!
  76. >Anonymous was all a mix with pride and confusion, but he quickly smashed down on the manticore's head, causing it to flee
  77. >The Alpha, realizing his backup had left, ran off after them
  78. >They had been repelled!
  79. >Anonymous looked down at Pipsqueak, who held the bloody dagger in his mouth
  80. "I.. I wanted to show you before you left. I guess you were already gone."
  81. >Anonymous smiled
  82. "Not long enough, I guess."
  83.
  84. >Anonymous looked at the blade and took it, balancing it
  85. "..Not bad."
  86. >Pipsqueak smiled
  87. >Anonymous tussled his hair
  88. >They walked up to the cottage, and locked the door in case the manticores came back
  89. >They didn't, but the two enjoyed each others company
  90. >Anonymous told Pipsqueak some of the tales of his ancestors
  91. >They soon fell asleep
  92.
  93. >During the night, Anonymous awoke to a sniffling sound
  94. >He looked down and saw Pipsqueak on the floor, shivering in the cold
  95. >Anonymous glared at the sleeping colt
  96. >He was supposed to be stronger than that
  97. >He sighed
  98. >Getting up, he picked up the young foal and brought him over to his bed
  99. >The colt warmed up quickly thanks to the Warrior's body heat
  100. >Anonymous just rolled his eyes, no more freebie's after this.
  101.
  102. >The next morning, Pipsqueak was awakened by Anonymous
  103. >Anonymous jogged in placed and got the colt to follow him
  104. >They made a quick mile jog
  105. >Once they got back, Anon was perfectly fine, but Pipsqueak was panting pretty hard
  106. >He would need that stamina, soon enough anyway
  107. >Anonymous grabbed the wooden swords
  108. >Well, why he waited for the Princess, he could get something constructive done
  109.
  110. >Anonymous gave Pipsqueak a sword
  111. >They sparred for hours, with Pipsqueak never landing a blow
  112. >The colt's body on the other hand was battered with bruises and small cuts
  113. >Anonymous congratulated Pipsqueak on his progress
  114. "What progress? I still haven't hit you yet!"
  115. >Anonymous smiled
  116. "Yes, but did you get as beat up as you did the first time?"
  117. "...No."
  118. "Then you've made Progress."
  119. >Anonymous laughed, though Pipsqueak didn't find that terribly funny
  120. >Pipsqueak left later that day, thanking Anon
  121. >As he was leaving, Anonymous saw Spike running up the path with a letter in hand
  122. >How convenient
  123.
  124. >Spike handed off the letter to Anonymous the Warrior of the Ancestor Clan
  125. >Anonymous read it quickly
  126. >He sighed
  127. "Pipsqueak!"
  128. >The colt stopped, turned around
  129. "I'm going away for real this time. Run some miles, ok?"
  130. >Pipsqueak nodded
  131. >Anonymous thanked Spike and stepped inside
  132. >He looked through his gear
  133. >He wished he could just take all of it
  134. >Instead he settled for his sword, dagger, and leather armor and shield
  135. >As he stepped outside the door, he thought about the letter's message
  136. "Come to Canterlot Castle at once"
  137. >Simple enough.
  138. >And with that, he ran.
  139. ---------------------------
  140. >Anonymous picked up his feet as he ran through P0nyville
  141. >His gear clattered and smacked him
  142. >Too bad, ignore the pain and get there as quick as possible
  143. >Anon gets to the train-station right as the next train to Canterlot pulls in
  144. >Perfect
  145.
  146. >Anon jumps aboard the train
  147. >He sits, panting
  148. >A ticket-guy walks up
  149. "Where is your ticket, sir?"
  150. >Anon pulls out the letter and shows him the royal symbol
  151. >The man nods
  152. "Understood, sorry for bothering you."
  153. >Anon smiled
  154. >Having the god-queen of the land as your employer had some great benefits
  155.
  156. "ALL ABOARD!"
  157. >Anon waits patiently as the train surges to a start slowly
  158. "Wait! Wait!"
  159. >Somebody was screaming outside
  160. >Anon looked out the window, it was a small group of young colts
  161. >About 6 of them
  162. >They looked like punks, all of them
  163. >Anon just murmured to himself as the conductor stopped the train and let them on
  164. >They all sat around the cabin, being loud and obnoxious
  165. >Anon kept an eye on them, they didn't "feel" quite right
  166. >The others in the cabin were a couple of families and two scholarly p0nies
  167. >Anon just sat back, hoping the train would keep on uninterrupted
  168. >As time went on, he noticed some of the colts throwing odd glances back at him, and whispering
  169. >Anon raised an eyebrow, and when one looked back at him he gave him a glare
  170. >If looks could kill, that glare would have obliterated the colt's body into a billion pieces
  171. >The colt shuddered and whispered to his friends
  172. >Soon, the train approached a tunnel
  173. >Anon felt a bit odd, he tensed up
  174. >The colts seemed to tense up too, like they were about to pounce
  175. >Anon's hand drifted down to his sword as they entered the tunnel
  176. >All was dark, but the sounds of movements
  177. >Anon went for his sword
  178. >Suddenly, he felt a point touch his neck
  179. "Drop it"
  180. >As the light flooded back into the cabin, he saw one of the colt's had placed a knife to his throat
  181. >Anon let his hands up, showing he had nothing in them
  182. >The colt didn't even try to take his sword, but nodded to his leader
  183. >The colts were all over the cabin, weapons drawn and pointed at the stronger looking stallions
  184. "Listen up!" The leader shouted "This is a stick-up!"
  185.
  186. >The p0nies around the train looks confused and scared, a young foal cries
  187. "Everyone! Get out your bits, your gold, everything!"
  188. >one of the colts brings out a big bag
  189. >He goes over to a family
  190. >they hastily drop their bits inside
  191. >He moves on to the next one
  192. >The colts seem to be watching the bag moving around
  193. >Anon notices the colt that was holding him up wasn't watching him
  194. >Anon smiled
  195. "Fucking Amateur."
  196. >The colt turns to Anon as he spoke, but his fist was faster
  197. >Anon felt the satisfying crack of his teeth and horse-jaw breaking
  198. >He fell over with a howl
  199. >Everyone turned to look at Anon, who was already standing up
  200. >He drew his sword
  201. >It sang to the heavens
  202.
  203. >Anon stared hot death at these punks
  204. "Drop your weapons, all of you."
  205. >The leader laughs, and the others join in once they see how confident he is
  206. "Really? There's six of us, and only one of you."
  207. >Anon looked to the right, at the downed colt
  208. >He pointed to him
  209. "You mean five."
  210. "Whatever. You're just some lanky primate, sit down and give us your weapons and maybe we will spare you."
  211. >Anon laughed
  212. "Fine, have it your way."
  213. >Anon started to march towards the leader
  214. >He told his goons to attack
  215. >The ponies stopped watching the other occupants and advanced
  216. >Anon saw a stallion in the back stand up
  217. >He pointed at him
  218. "Don't be a hero!"
  219. >The stallion sat down
  220. >One of the colts that was coming up to Anon was looking back at him
  221. "Yeah! You heard the man!" he laughed, mocking the brave stallion
  222. "Don't be a he-"
  223. >His voice was cut short as Anon's sword slashed him across the shoulder, bringing him down easily.
  224. >The others snapped to attention, they had finally learned their lesson
  225. >Don't get distracted
  226.
  227. >Anon smiled
  228. "Two down."
  229. >Two of the colts charged down the narrows aisle, one with a knife and the other with a cudgel of some kind
  230. >Anon jumped to the side into the seats
  231. >Only one of them could attack him like this
  232. >The cudgel smashed out, cracking a seat
  233. >Anon sliced him across the hoof, making him drop his weapon and collapse in pain
  234. >He kicked him in the face, and then did a overhand slash at the other one
  235. >the other colt raised his knife pathetically in an attempt to block but it was much too little too late
  236. >Anon's sword cracked the knife in half and the blade sliced off part of the colt's face, before the sword embedded into his shoulder
  237. >He screamed in agony as Anon pulled his sword free and knocked him to the ground as well
  238. >The leader stood behind a big and beefy colt
  239. >this colt had an actual sword in his mouth
  240. >Anon smiled, pointing his sword forward and assuming a battle stance
  241. >the colt disappointed him by running down the aisle swinging wildly
  242. "You are no warrior!"
  243.
  244. >Anon waited until the last second
  245. >Then, he struck out with his shield
  246. >the force of the blow knocked the sword from the colt's mouth
  247. >But he wasn't knocked out, he growled and tried to bite Anon
  248. >Anon clobbered him with his fist, the colt fell down
  249. >Anon stepped over him, and advanced towards the leader
  250. >The leader was sweating profusely
  251. >He threw the bag of coins at Anon, who raised his shield
  252. >The coins flew everywhere, clattering about and making a mess and noise
  253. >The leader advanced towards the door
  254. >He opened the door outside
  255. >...Right as the train pulled onto a cliff
  256.
  257. >The leader looked down at the sheer drop, with Canterlot castle quick approaching
  258. >he shook his head
  259. "Your choice."
  260. >The leader looked up at Anon with fright, who was standing right behind him
  261. "Go to jail or die. Make the choice."
  262. >The leader seemed to think for a second and backed away
  263. "Good boy." Anon said in a mocking tone
  264. >Anon grabbed the leader by his mane and pulled him off the ground with one arm
  265. >The leader pissed himself with fear
  266. >Anon realized he could literally fling this fucker out onto the mountain
  267. >But Anon decided against it
  268. >He had a better idea
  269. >Carrying the colt inside, he showed him off to the families, who were cheering in triumph
  270. "Now now Mr.Colt, you are going to apologize to all of these families for the money you stole, under stand?"
  271. >The colt nodded furiously
  272. >Anon carried the colt around the room, and he apologized to each family, all of which gave him dirty looks and the kids threw things at him
  273.
  274. >Anon walked to the back of the cabin with him, sitting him in a seat
  275. "Do you like having teeth or genitals? Then sit still. The Equestrian Royal Guard will deal with you when we pull into station."
  276. >The leader sat there, defeated as the train began to pull to a stop
  277.
  278. >The Royal Guard roughs up the criminals a bit as they pull them out of the train and towards the dungeons
  279. >Anon hands over the leader to them, with a large stallion approaching
  280. >He was white with blue hair, and he had some sort of shield on his chest
  281. "Hello Anon!" He said
  282. >Anonymous blinked
  283. "Who are you?"
  284. "I am Shining Armor, Twilight's sister."
  285. >Oh, Twilight mentioned him
  286. >Anonymous suddenly remembered something
  287. "Your sister! Twilight! She-"
  288. "Is hurt, I know." Shining armor replied
  289. >Anon stayed quiet
  290. "The Princess has ordered me to escort you to the castle. But seeing your handiwork here I can see you don't really need one!"
  291. >Anonymous smiled at the compliment but remained a bit humble
  292. "Yes, well, it's my duty to take out the trash I suppose."
  293. >Shining Armor said nothing, but smiled as they walked towards the castle
  294.
  295. >They approached the doors and were let inside
  296. >Celestia was on her throne, talking to some noble or whatever
  297. >As per usual
  298. >Anonymous couldn't help but laugh, he found the idea that one of the most powerful beings in this world subjecting herself to the petty problems of nobles to be hilarious
  299. >But he guessed it was a bit more complex than that and he shouldn't judge
  300. >Celestia saw him coming and shooed away the noble, greeting Anonymous with a smile
  301. "Anonymous, glad to see you so soon! We have much to discuss."
  302. >Anonymous nodded, but scoffed internally. There was always much to discuss when you dealt with royalty.
  303.
  304. >Celestia saw him coming and shooed away the noble, greeting Anonymous with a smile
  305. "Anonymous, glad to see you so soon! We have much to discuss."
  306. >Anonymous nodded, but scoffed internally. There was always much to discuss when you dealt with royalty.
  307. >Celestia led Anon away, and back into the more private chambers
  308. >He passed at least two parties of guards
  309. >He absently began a conversation
  310. "Lots of security around here, recently?"
  311. >Celestia stopped and looked back at him
  312. "We'll talk about it soon."
  313. >Oh, it was also important
  314. >Anonymous stayed silent as he walked the hallowed halls of Canterlot Castle
  315. >This place always impressed him
  316. >Didn't beat his cottage though. Not by a long-shot.
  317.
  318. >Finally, they pulled into Celestia's private chambers
  319. >There was a big roaring fireplace and pillows with suns embroidered on them
  320. >It was also strewn with papers
  321. >Celestia shouldn't be this disorganized
  322.
  323. >Celestia turned to Anonymous and sighed before putting on her usual comforting smile
  324. "Anonymous, take a seat please? And take off that armor. You must get comfortable. Would you like some tea?"
  325. "No thank you. Water would be preferred."
  326. >Celestia nodded and left the room
  327. >Anonymous looked around at the comfy room and unstrapped his weapons, allowing them to fall to the floor
  328. >He also took off his shield, his arm seeming to spring up once the heavy weight was off it
  329. >Anonymous then unstrapped his boots, leggings and chest armor.
  330. >He wasn't wearing much underneath, just a kind of loincloth
  331. >He shook his head, the ponies were used to nudity all the time so they wouldn't be bothered by this.
  332. >He sat down with crossed legs, thinking and resting
  333. >Celestia came in with a tray of tea and some water in a perfect golden jug, she seemed to look at him for a second before placing the tray down on the ground, and then sitting down next to him
  334.
  335. >Anonymous reached out and took the water, drinking from the jug
  336. "That's quite Savage of you, Anon. But refreshing. You're really *supposed* to drink from the crystal glass."
  337. >Celestia pointed a hoof at the small glass cup besides the jar
  338. "Why?"
  339. "Just some stupid thing civilized people do."
  340. >Anonymous laughed and drank deeply, before setting the jar back down gently
  341. >Celestia sipped from a cup of tea daintily, as was expected of the Princess
  342. >Anonymous waited until she took a few sips, and she then spoke
  343. "So, the reason why there were so many guards outside was because the Canterlot Royal library was broken into last night. They stole some books on some ancient and dark magic, and with the information you sent about what happened to Twilight, I think I've figured out the identity of those attackers."
  344. >Anonymous listened in
  345. >Celestia placed a piece of parchment on the tray, showing an interesting symbol that looked like a dragon head with black thorns around it
  346. "They are an order called "The Dark Dragon". They worship black dragons, the evil kinds. They want to *create* a new black dragon overlord to rule the world with."
  347. >Anonymous nodded, studying the symbol for a few minutes
  348. >He noticed the Princess was silent
  349. >Anonymous looked over at her
  350. >She was just staring off into space
  351.
  352. >Anonymous tried to see what she was looking at, but she was just looking above the tray at the wall
  353. "Pri-Princess?"
  354. >Celestia snapped out of it, looking at Anon for a second before turning back to the wall
  355. "Oh, oh I'm sorry Anon. I just... just got lost in thought for a second."
  356. >Anonymous raised an eyebrow
  357. "About what?"
  358. >Celestia looked at him
  359. "About you, actually."
  360. >Anonymous blinked
  361. "I was just thinking about you, Anonymous. About how you just appeared here one day. How you're..."
  362. >Anonymous made a motion for her to continue
  363. "...How you're alone."
  364. >Anonymous was silent
  365. >Celestia turned to him, her face sporting a frown
  366. "You're the only one of your kind, Anon. You're totally alone."
  367. >Anonymous nodded slowly, not sure why she was just saying a fact.
  368. "...Like me."
  369.
  370. >Anonymous blinked
  371. "And I'm not talking about my race, I know their are more. Luna and Cadance. But I hardly ever see Cadance, and Luna I only see during the dawn and dusk. I'm either too tired to really talk, or she is."
  372. >Anonymous sat back, allowing the Princess to vent
  373. "And it goes beyond that! I can hardly even have friends! I am cursed with my immortality, I see all my friends die." She said, then spoke again softer
  374. "...All my lovers die..."
  375. >Anonymous saw a tear drop to the cushions below her, a look of great sadness on her face
  376. >She slowly turned her head towards him, a polite sob being heard from her as she looked at him
  377. >She leaned forward
  378. >Anonymous felt a bit confused, his body was on autopilot
  379. >He leaned forward
  380. >She moved her head closer to his
  381. >His mouth opened slightly
  382. >Celestia's lip quivered
  383. >Within a time that felt like forever, Celestia finally touched Anon's lips to hers, her hoofs coming forward and draping over his shoulders
  384. >The kiss was very light at first but she moved up, her mouth pressing against his. He could feel her tongue enter his mouth, her body heat was coming off
  385. >Everything felt so warm
  386. >Everything felt wrong
  387. >Anonymous was frozen, he didn't want to move
  388. >But he felt himself reach his hands around and wrap around the Princess, holding her body close to his
  389. >His tongue joined hers in the dance
  390.
  391. >Anonymous and her joined their kiss for over a minute, before she finally pulled away, panting
  392. "Wha-"
  393. >Before he could even speak, she kissed him again, her body seeming to melt into his arms and her mouth pressing against his lips
  394. >Anonymous felt a great warmth within him
  395. >...How long has it been?
  396. >Finally she broke the kiss again, her glorious white body in his lap and arms, her flowing hair all around him and her
  397. "...Anon."
  398. "Celestia."
  399. >Anonymous had his instincts, he knew what was happening
  400. >What *would* happen
  401. >I didn't sit well with him though
  402. "...Celestia you aren't a-"
  403. "A human, I know. I know that, alright? You don't need to explain it to me. Just..."
