  1. >A'Nown remained in darkness for many years
  2. >Just thinking, contemplating
  3. >He would get bored if he would just look out with the view of the statue
  4. >He was bound to it though, and soon he desired release
  5.
  6. >A collector pony walked into the mountains with his team
  7. >He had gotten a tip that something was here; that the strange tales of the pony lost in the mountains were true and that the mysterious idol in them lay in this mountain range
  8. >He was a scholar and collector, and this statue would no doubt be an important piece of his collection.
  9. >He instructed his miners to began the arduous digging
  10. >He would find this damn statue, his pride depended on it.
  11.
  12. >The diggers set up camp
  13. >They had several tents, all being funded by the collector
  14. >He was in his large tent, not to be disturbed
  15. >Pouring over a few scattered letters and leaflets
  16. >The mare who had gotten lost up here so many years ago was long since dead, but the tale had not been forgotten
  17. >It was not the most well known p0ny's tale however, and thus there wasn't too much information about it.
  18. >Where exactly it was in the mountain was very hard to pinpoint
  19. >But when he saw the area, he had a strong hunch
  20.
  21. >One night while digging, he soon finds out his hunch is correct
  22. >One worker screams out
  23. >Everyone comes over
  24. >He's shaking, in shock after uncovering the last bit of stone
  25. >He just uncovered the thing's terrifying face
  26. >He's dragged off to the medical tent
  27. "...Damn superstitious laborers. No matter, I'll dock his pay every day he keeps up the ridiculous fit." The collector said before returning to collect his prize.
  28.
  29. >Down in the hole was the statue
  30. >Looking up, staring
  31. >The Collector smiled nervously
  32. >He walked down to the statue and inspected it
  33. >The workers stayed away, standing back
  34. >They were still scared of this thing
  35. >After the quick inspection, the collector reached out a hoof and stroked the statue
  36. >He felt the strange, slimy sensation even though the thing was completely dry
  37. >He then cleared his throat
  38. "Alright men, get this statue out of here!"
  39. >The workers don't move
  40. >They don't want to get near it
  41. >The Collector sighs
  42. >He pulls out a white sheet and drops it over the statue
  43. "Now, get this out of here and onto the wagon."
  44. >The workers are still nervous but it seems they are no longer as afraid of it
  45. >They get down and slowly move the statue
  46. >They hear the p0ny who was terrified by the statue earlier start to scream from the tent
  47. "That's... strange..." The collector said to himself, before overseeing the move to its completion.
  48.
  49. >The workers quickly got the statue on the wagon
  50. >The sheet was kept over it, but it still stood ominously
  51. "Alright boys, back up camp. We leave at dawn."
  52. >The workers groaned but walked off to their tents for some sleep
  53. >Nobody got any sleep that night
  54.
  55. >The next day, the collector checked on the statue
  56. >The sheet was still in place, everything was fine
  57. >Then he looked in front of it
  58. >In front of the statue was a spider
  59. >It seemed to be bowing of some nature
  60. >Then it did something unexpected
  61. >The spider seemed to lean forward and bite off one of its own legs
  62. >After a quick shake, the leg fell off, it really did it
  63. >It kept doing this, biting off its own legs in a little pile
  64. >After about a minute though, it seemed to slow down and stop, it was dying
  65. >Soon, it laid dead
  66. >The Collector blinked nervously and left it alone, getting his crew organized
  67. >Soon, they were off.
  68.
  69. >The wagon traveled down the road
  70. >It had a roof over it, to protect the goods within
  71. >The crew alternated between walking alongside the wagon and pulling it
  72. >The collector sat in the driver's seat of the wagon and seemed to pour over his notes while another laborer did the real directing
  73. >Not that much was needed
  74. >Soon, they saw a lone figure walking up the road towards them
  75. >It was a p0ny but it was wearing a ragged cloak and seemed off
  76. >They prepared themselves for this stranger
  77.
  78. >The stranger kept coming closer and closer
  79. >The crew became on edge
  80. >Once he got close, he kept going
  81. >The whole crew watched as he just kept walking by, not talking or stopping
  82. >In fact, he didn't even say hi, which is rather rude
  83. >They shrug and keep going
  84.
  85. >Later, a crew man runs up to the collector
  86. "Hey boss, we're leaking!"
  87. >The Collector stops the cart and gets off the driver seat
  88. "Shit, we're losing water?"
  89. "Uhh... Not exactly..."
  90. >the Collector looks at the back of the cart
  91. >He sees a trail of blood
  92. >It was coming from the wagon
  93. >He gulped and slowly opened the back curtain
  94. >The sheet was gone
  95.
  96. >The statue stared out malevolently
  97. >Before it, thousands of dead bugs and a few rats
  98. >They had all pulled off their own limbs and the blood had seeped through the cracks of the wagon, dripping onto the road
  99. >The crew looked over this sight without saying anything, just walking in place nervously
  100. >A p0ny approached the Collector
  101. "Boss... let's just leave this thing... This is bad."
  102. >The collector stopped staring at the statue and whirled to face the p0ny
  103. "No! This must be added to my collection! I paid good money for this!" he said, fuming
  104. >the p0ny looked at him concerned
  105. "Money ain't worth being dead, boss."
  106. >The Collector shouted and screeched at his crew, and soon they all looked at each other and started to walk away
  107. >All of them
  108. >The collector was alone
  109.
  110. >The collector fumed
  111. >He was too stubborn to leave
  112. >He began to push and pull the cart himself
  113. >Little kept him going other than his stubborn nature
  114. >He soon found himself in a forest
  115. >While pulling the cart up a hill, the reign suddenly snapped and the cart rolled away
  116. >It rolled off the path and into the woods a little ways
  117. >Not too far away, but not too close to the path either
  118. >The collector screamed and ran after it, and once it stopped he hoped inside and looked at the statue in disgust
  119. >He was ranting, slamming his hooves against the wooden floor of the cart
  120. "Is this what you want!?" he screamed, frothing and foaming
  121. >Soon, he was convulsing so hard in anger and hatred
  122. >He suddenly felt a sharp pain in his mouth
  123. >Then, he screeched out, blood flowing from his mouth
  124. >He had bitten off his own tongue
  125.
  126. >The slimy thing laid at the feet of the statue
  127. >He spit blood out, some of it landing on the statue
  128. >when the blood touched the statue, it seemed to just slide off it, pooling beneath the thing's feet
  129. >The collector ranted and raved, but he couldn't speak anymore without his tongue
  130. >He soon laid at the feet of the statue
  131. >He began to see his vision blacken, and he was finally scared
  132. >He tried in terror to fight back, but the pulling sensation only became stronger
  133. "I'm going to add you to my collection."
  134. >He screamed, but no sound came out as he was pulled into horrid darkness.
  135. >And there, the statue stood.
  136. -------------------------------
  137. >A'Nown took in his cosmic sights
  138. >He felt around and yawned, looking over what he had done so far
  139. >In the massive slurry of his conciousness, he looked at what he had gained thus far
  140. >A three-headed dog monster and a tongueless loony
  141. >also a little blood and some animal parts?
  142. >Not much, he'd have to step up his game
  143.
  144. >A young filly walked to school slowly
  145. >She hated school, everyone always made fun of her
  146. >She was an Earth pony, but she wasn't any stronger then the Pegasus or Unicorns in the class
  147. >She had one passion: Art
  148. >But she was fucking terrible at it
  149.
  150. >The little filly walks into the classroom
  151. >She sits and waits
  152. >Nobody talks to her
  153. >Eventually she gets out some paper and starts to draw
  154. >Using her mouth, she takes several minutes to draw a picture of herself
  155. >After that ordeal is over, she looks back, satisfied
  156. >A unicorn that sits next to her snickers
  157. "What!?" She cries out at her
  158. >The unicorn smiles and takes out her own paper
  159. >Her horn glows and the pencil flies across the paper quickly
  160. >She finishes the drawing in less then ten seconds (flat)
  161. >It looks better then the Earth p0ny's drawing
  162. >She starts to cry and the unicorn laughs
  163. >She runs out of the classroom and then runs home
  164. >At home she throws herself on her bed and cries for a little while
  165. >Soon though, she calms down and does something strange
  166. >She prays.
  167.
  168. >Praying was an ancient, died out p0ny tradition
  169. >The tribal p0nies did not understand Celestia and Luna when they first arrived in Equestria and took command
  170. >They originally thought to them as gods, and that praying to them would allow them to hear the calls of the mortal p0nies
  171. >They dispelled those rumors quickly, but it is still remembered and done on rare occasion
  172. >She wasn't expecting a response as she spoke to herself in her head
  173. >She asked for guidance, and for... revenge.
  174. >She jumped back as she heard a voice
  175. "Hello, Child."
  176. >She looked around her room, but there was nothing
  177. "Who- Who are you?"
  178. "I am A'Nown. I am here to help you."
  179. >She smiled
  180. "You... you heard me?"
  181. "Yes Child. And I will help you."
  182. >She smiled with glee, how could her luck get any better?
  183.
  184. >The little filly asked the voice how to enact revenge
  185. >The voice spoke
  186. "All you have to do, to make anyone you hate disappear, just draw a picture of them and leave it on the porch."
  187. >She giggled and got to drawing
  188. >It took her over an hour, but soon she had a decent picture of that awful unicorn from her class
  189. >She nodded and waited until after dinner
  190. >After dinner, she went outside, and placed the drawing on the porch
  191. >She put a rock over it, so it wouldn't blow away
  192. >She then went to sleep, happiest little filly in the world
  193.
  194. >The next morning, she went outside and found that it was gone
  195. >She smiled with glee and got her things before walking to school
  196. >She sat at her desk and waited
  197. >The little unicorn wasn't there
  198. >She couldn't stop her joy when the teacher walked in
  199. "Hello class. Today-"
  200. >Suddenly the door opened
  201. "Sorry I'm late everyp0ny!"
  202. >It was the unicorn
  203.
  204. >The little earth p0ny fumed
  205. >Why didn't it work
  206. >She screamed out in her head at the voice, and soon it spoke
  207. "I'm sorry, Child. I forgot to tell you, it won't work unless you sprinkle some blood on the paper."
  208. >She was so mad she didn't even care
  209. >She just got through the day and stormed home
  210. >After doing her homework and such, she waited
  211. >Finally, it was time
  212. >She poked herself with a knife she stole from the kitchen and sprinkled it on the paper
  213. >Just then, she heard a noise
  214. >Looking at the window, she saw a monster standing not to far away!
  215. >She screamed and fell back, her paper flying across the room and sliding into a pile of other papers
  216. >She ran back to the window but the thing was gone
  217. >She went over to the pile and grabbed the paper back
  218. >She then put it outside on the porch and placing a rock on it again
  219. >She went to sleep, thinking it better work, or else she'd make that dumb voice pay!
  220.
  221. >The little filly woke up early that morning
  222. >She went outside
  223. >The paper was gone again
  224. >She smiled with glee, her problems must be over
  225. >She went back to her room, but noticed something
  226. >Her parents door was open
  227. >Looking inside, she saw it empty
  228. >But the window was smashed and a tiny amount of blood was on the sheets
  229. "Mom? Dad?"
  230. >There was no answer
  231. >She rushed into her room
  232. >She checked the pile
  233. >The drawing of the unicorn was still there
  234. >She had put the wrong picture
  235. >She suddenly looked around confused, scared, and terrified
  236. >She desperately tried to find her parents
  237. >But she never would.
  238. "Voice! Voice! Take it back! I take it back!"
  239. >It was silent, then the voice spoke again
  240. "I'm sorry, little one. But my pet does not like to share..."
