- >day freezing in Equstria
- >Holy balls its cold out
- >Winter has come in p0nyville and you're spending a pleasant day indoors
- >Hot chocolate and a book next to the fire
- >Hours pass as you progress through your novel
- >As the night grows late the weather seems to worsen.
- >The muffled howling of the storm outside plays on the edge of your consciousness
- >A faint noise pulls your attention from your book. At least you think you heard something.
- >Shrugging you return to your book.
- *KNOCK*
- >Okay you defiantly heard that, and you're pretty sure that came from your front door
- >You exit your cozy nest of blankets and go to your door
- >Given the chance your door is swung wide open by the howling winds outside.
- >Scrambling to regain control of your door you see the source of the noise
- >A very blue and very cold looking Pinkie Pie is on your door step.
- >"H..hhi..An..anon!" she chatters, ice literally hanging from her snout.
- "Holy crap Pinkie what are you doing here! Are you okay?"
- >"Neeeeded tt.t.tto visit yy..you...and.." she tries to stutter out but shes shivering so hard she's having trouble
- You stop her "Okay get inside this instant, I'm not having you freeze to death on my door step.
- >You bend down and scoop Pinkie up, kicking the door close with your foot you bring her inside.
- >"Thh..thanks Anon.."
- >You set her down next to fire and wrap a blanket around her. She's still shaking pretty bad though.
- "Hold on a second Pinkie, this might help." you tell her as you put her in your lap and start rubbing her through the blanket.
- >The added friction seems to be doing the trick as she stops shivering after a few minutes and her natural hue replaces the blue
- >Pulling down the top of the blanket you had over her head Pinkies fluffy pink mane pops out.
- "Feeling better?" you ask as you look down at her
- >Tilting her head back she returns your gaze, "Oh I feel much better Anon! Thanks! I almost was a pinkie-cicle!". She snorts at her own dumb joke.
- "Yeah lets keep ice sculpture off your list of talents shall we?" she nods her head vigorously at this remark.
- "Now just what was so damn important Missy that you nearly froze yourself on my door step?"
- >"Oh yeah! I knew I came here for something!" This mare... sometimes you wonder...
- >"I wanted to tell you that due to the crazy storm the weather team had planned that you didn't need to come work at Sugercube Corner tomorrow."
- >You're still getting use to the fact that these crazy little horses not only control, but plan out the weather.
- "I appreciate that Pinkie but I also could of found that out when I came in tomorrow, you didn't have to risk coming over here like this.
- >Pinkie must of noted the concern in your voice as her ears droop a bit, "I'm sorry Anon, I didn't mean make you worry."
- You hug her a bit closer to your chest, *Sigh* "Its alright Pinkie, just next time plan ahead a bit and let me know these things BEFORE they happen."
- >"Okie doki Anon." she says perking back up. "Well now that I told you what I needed to I guess its time for Pinkie to head home."
- "I don't think so little lady, I think the storms actually getting worse and I am not letting you back out in it. You can stay here tonight."
- >For a second Pinkie looks almost stunned. But then you see a small smile play across her snout, one that grows larger
- >and larger
- >and larger
- >as the smile goes you notice she's starting shaking in your lap again, she can't be cold can...oh no!
- >You know where this is going and you quickly shuffle out beneath the shaking grinning pony and dive behind your couch right as she..
- >"SLUMBER PARRRRTTTYYYYYY!!!!!" Pinkie shouts at the top of her lungs as she rises into the air, confetti and streamers appearing from nowhere
- >The last part you always found disturbing, you've thought about asking where she stores it but decided not to.
- >Peaking out from behind the couch you remove the streamers draped across your head as you watch the pink party pony hop around your living room.
- >"OOH! A slumber party! I haven't had one of those in 3 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days!!"
- >"We can have hot chocolate, and tell ghost stories, and do make overs, and play games, and.."she prattles on and on as she continues to bounce around the room
- >You just opened up a can of worms and you can already tell you're in for a long night.
