Those weren't the birth of PiE.

 

PiE started bofore those started. They were in a seperate thread and then they were disscussed in the original PiE thread about mergin here. (See line 4324 of the PiE pastebin) It unfortunatly appears that none of the writers from that thread showed up here. I do have some of the stories though, I'll post them here.

 

Fun fact: That thread inspired me to become a writefag and start posting in PiE

The whole thing started 3 months ago, in a "post ponies with clothes" thread. Someone posted >pic related and then posters there started liking it. (Pillow Case). In that thread they (we) had a brainstorming to create a story where that OC came to the earth.

As the one that started PiE,

 

A while back someone made a thread for "ponies with clothes". Someone posted that picture of Pillow Case. We all made up a backstory and name for her before the source of the image was found. Everyone kept saying they'd write a story about her but no one did. Another clothes thread was made way later, I posted that pic and some others. A few people brought up the first thread and that we needed a story for that character. I decided I'd write something. when I posted what I wrote I thought I'd try the idea of making it a thread for any stories about ponies on earth and called it PiE.

 

Then I sort of ran out of ideas for my Pillow Case story and haven't contributed to these threads in a while.

 

I'm thinking of rewriting it in prose and seeing if that helps me think of anything. If it does I'll try to wrap it up into a one shot because I promised someone on fimfiction I would and then I'd post it there.

 

Anyone else can use PC for their own fics. The idea in the first clothes thread was for her to be like the Anon in AiE, and the only requirements were her name and something to do with her liking clothes.

 

If no one does and I run out of story ideas... maybe I should make an ask tumblr for her? I don't even like those but feel like making one for the character.

Nope. I don't have anything there at this point anyway. I was going to post my story from the TF threads but had some trouble and need to rework it a bit.

But...has anyone given any real thought as to maybe writing a main story to focus these around?

 

Stuff like, the first ponies on Earth, why they came, how that was fixed, if ever. Challenges and such with a new sentient race on the planet..

 

I mean, I'd read the crap out of that.

 

I suppose, I could give it a try...but would I want to tell it from an Anon perspective...or pony...perhaps both? And which pony?

Glad to see this is still alive. Been sick for a while, but I should start Chapter 5 of Ponyville Apartments soon. The next one might be a little different from usual, but I'll try to maintain the slice-of-life feel.

 

That said, I'd love to see a a story with Lyra sometime soon. I believe she'd fit a comedy series fairly well.

Hey all, Im probably going to post the next part tommorow morning. But, that isn't the purpose of this post. I am here to pose a question.

 

I have been doing alot of thinking about the next set of stories I am going to write for this thread. I have alot of Ideas that I think would be good, but I want you guys to decide what you want to read. You are the intended audience after all...

 

so here it goes:

A:A boy and a pony make a wish at the same time, this wish brings the pony to our world. (Mixed percepective)

 

B:A boy discovers that one of his class mates is a pony in disquise (Anon Percepective)

 

C: A soldier discovers that he is guarding ponies that are being experimented on by the government (Anon pecpective)

 

D: A man is manipulated into helping an invasion of Earth by the changeling Queen (Anon percepective)

 

E: Mystery Box the contents of which shall be revealed if this option is choosen.

 

I'll leave this up over night and see what the results are tommorow morning.

For those of you that may be confused about what the reveal means, Ill break it down for you.

 

After Roseluck is competed the next set of stories I shall write shall be based apon the Slenderman Mythos. Or should I say the Slenderpony Mythos. it shall be told in a first pony percepective. It shall follow a pony who friend mysteriously disappears leaving behind nothing expect a series of notes. This pony shall try to uncover the myster behind his friends dissapearance. But as he goes deeper something evil shall start following...

"Maybe they're just not used to seeing ponies still. It's been a while, but I don't think the shock's quite worn off yet for either side."

"Hmmm." she nods to herself as she walks down the steps to you

"So, is there anywhere in particular you wanted to go?"

"Actually... I was hoping you might know somewhere. I spent most of last evening going over the scores."

"There's a coffee shop not too far from here, if that's alright with you."

"That sounds perfect. But, could we walk if it isn't too far? I'm still not quite comfortable with those 'car' things."

"Oh thank the princesses!" Octavia says, darting for the nearest empty booth. She climbs into the side and sits on her haunches

"I don't see how you can sit in those hard little chairs. Just the thought of it makes my back hurt."

"So, how was your first night here?"

"It was a bit disconcerting." she says, looking up at you from her food. "There were no stars out, and I couldn't see the moon anywhere. But the all the lights in the city at night... rarely have I seen something so beautiful."

"They were out, but those lights were why couldn't see them. Only way you'll see the stars in a city this big is if there's a blackout. Or if you go way out into the countryside."

"That's disappointing. The nights back home were always breathtaking."
