Schoolyard Blues (Part 2)

>Anon and Cheerilee are walking through town to go check on their favrorite trio.

Ok, so whats the game plan Cheerilee?

>"Uh, I dont know. I've only seen them like that only a few times. Maybe if we talk to them, they will perk right up."

Yeah, hopefully.

>They get to the area where the treehouse is.

>You and Cheerilee can see the treehouse. While you two approach it, you can see three objects sprawled out on the grass.

>As you get closer, you can see that it is there capes with their CMC mark on it.

>Your heart breaks a little.

>You and Cheerilee can hear sniffles coming from the treehouse.

>"Girls? Are you ok?" Cheerilee asks

>"No. We've given up on finding our cutie marks. Do us a favor and throw those rags away for us." Scootaloo speaks

>You clutch the capes in your hands.

>"Are they being serious?" Cheerilee asks.

Come on girls, dont give up! You can be talented at anything! Sports...

>"Tried it." Sweetie Belle says

>"Tried it."

Music?

>There was a pause. You think you pulled them out of their blues.

>"Tried it."  

>Nope, not even a little.

Come on, its not like you guys to give up. You need to block out the people who say you wont get your marks.

>"But Diamond Tiara is right. Everyone else has theirs. Snails has his." AppleBloom says

>"So does Twist." Scootaloo adds

>"And the rest of the class." Sweetie Belle finally says.

>"Were the only ones that dont have theirs. And we never will..." they say in unison.

>Your heart sinks. Your three musketeers are in a bind.

>"Diamond Tiara was right all this time." Sweetie Belle says

>Now, you'll do anything to put a smile back on their faces.

Cheerilee, lets go.

>You walk away from the treehouse. Still holding the capes, you make a promise to make them smile.

>"Where are we going?" Cheerilee says as she is following behind you.

We're gonna make those three very happy.

>She smiles confidently.

>"Im right there with you anon. Whats the plan?"

I have no idea.

>She stops in her tracks.

>You stop and turn around to look at her

>"Really?"

Look, I have no idea where to start, but ill do anything to cheer those guys up. It tears me up inside to see them this way.

>"She nods in agreement with you.

>"Well, we could get them a little something."

How about some food?

>"Oh, how about a pie? That's what perks me up if im having a bad day."

>You take a mental note of that.

Yes, off to Sugarcube Corner!

>After a few minutes, you and Cheerilee arrive at Sugarcube Corner.

>You both see a very happy Pinkie Pie bouncing around inside.

>Yeah, everything is normal here.

>You both walk in and are instantly greeted.

>"Oh! Hi Anon and Cheerilee! How are you guys doing. Im so excited you guys are here. Well, then again im always excited! But that makes me even more excited because I know im so excited!

>She releases a mad giggle as she is still bouncing around.

>"Thats...nice?" Cheerilee says

>Pinkie Pie giggles again

>"So whats up you two?

Not much pinkie, just wondering if you have any apple pies for sale.

>"Are you kidding? We have lots and lots of apple pies! They're so yummy and delicious I can hardly stand it!"

>She the zips back into the kitchen and back out as she places an apple pie on the ground.

>"See?"

>She then faceplants into a pie while eating it

>Cheerilee and anon exchange a funny look and look back at Pinkie Pie.

>"Mmmmm! Thats some good pie!

>She giggles again.

Pinkie!

>She instantly stopped and stood up with a smile.

>"Yes anon?"

Bring me an apple pie please. We kind of need it.

>Pinkie is wearing a bigger grin.

>"Why? Do you need it for your romantic date with Cheerilee?"

>There was alot of emphasis on romantic.

>She winks at both of you.

>You look at Cheerilee and you could tell she was blushing.

No, its not like that. Its sorta serious.

>Pinkie takes a step back and has a concerned facial expression

>"Whats wrong? Did something happen?" she asks.

>You pull one of the capes from your pocket and show it to pinkie.

>Man, these things are small.

Lets say that the Cutie Mark Crusaders are a little down. And we wanted to get them a pie in hopes that they will cheer up.

>Pinkie pie goes back into the kitchen and brings out another pie.

>She hands it to anon.

>"There you go, no charge. Anything to cheer up those three. Can you believe they tried to become the Cutie Mark Crusader party animals?"

>Pinkie laughs.

>"They were all tired after three hours! They look so cute when theyre sleeping!"

>All three of you laugh.

>After a brief moment you speak up.

Well, we better get this to them. Thank you so much Pinkie!

>"We really appriciate it." Cheerilee says

>You two walk out of Sugarcube Corner confident this will work.

>"Wait up!"

>You and Cheerilee turn and see Pinkie bouncing toward you

>"I want to come with you guys!"

>"Yay!"

But you promise not to overdo it. They're pretty sad.

>"I promise!"

>As you three head to the tree house, you hope to Celestia that this will cheer them up.

>Or do something.

>"Oh wait anon! Pinkie says.

>You and cheerilee stop and both look at pinkie.

>She then goes over to a nearby fountain and jumps into it.

>"What is she doing? cheerilee asks

>Then see pinkie toss something into the air.

>It hits the ground, bounces a couple of times, then rolls toward you and cheerilee.

>Its a ball.

>"Don't we need to save those? In case of an emergency?" Cheerilee asks

>"Nah! We'll be fine! I have a ton more stashed around ponyville!" pinkie replies

>"If you say so. Alright, lets go cheer up some fillys!"

>She heads toward the treehouse.

>Pinkie pie follows her
