- >Heavy panting.
- >Her breath against the skin of your neck as she clutched onto you in throws of passion.
- >The sweat of your skin mixing with the sweet scent of her fur.
- >Her blonde hair tickling your skin.
- >Silent passion crept through the house, your voices hushed to low whispers and moans, intensity reducing them to simple, silent gasps.
- >The innocence of two young teens was abandoned, left in its place the unity of two lovers as they intertwined with each other.
- >And as the moments of burning passion dimmed down to a softly burning ember, you held Applejack closer than you ever thought you'd hold her.
- "...Applejack?"
- >"mmhmm?"
- "I love you."
- >"…Ah love you too."
- >You embrace the mare you've grown to adore, never wanting to let go.
- >When the sensation of sunlight dances across your eyes, you realize that the visions in you mind were just that; visions.
- >Groggily you realize that you’ve been dreaming yet again.
- >You look to your hand and gently stroke your fingers through the hay you slept on.
- >It had been a few weeks since the family reunion in Manehatten with the Oranges.
- >You had a great time. You loved the family you stayed with. They seemed to like you too.
- >But for whatever reason, you just couldn’t get that night out of your head.
- >Mostly because the scene that kept popping into your mind never even happened.
- >It had been a dream you had while lying on that couch in Manehatten.
- >One that you still had to this day.
- >Rolling onto your back, you breathe in deep the air hanging in the barn, the scent of hay and earth mixing together with the faint hint of apples from the trees outside.
- >Rubbing the tired sensation from your eyes, you try to rationalize all of this.
- >Applejack was…
- >Well she was almost like family.
- >She’d taken you in when you were scared and alone, bringing you into her life out of the kindness of her heart.
- >You loved her for that.
- >But this other feeling you had…
- >It was different.
- >Time had grown on you.
- >Applejack had grown on you.
- >You’d spent time and time again with her, talking the nights away in the very barn you lay in.
- >You knew about her hopes and dreams, and she knew about yours.
- >You’d been there for her through good and bad times, never leaving her side.
- >So was it wrong that what started as the love of a friend slowly matured into… whatever this was?
- >You hoped not. After all, Applejack seemed to care for you in the same capacity.
- >She even said she loved you.
- >Love is a strong word. It’s not something you just throw around, like a catchphrase.
- >You knew that if Applejack said it, then she meant it.
- >You remember something Applebloom told you a few years ago, as you stood in the farm’s kitchen one night…
- >She had told you that you and Applejack would be nice together. You asked her why
- >"Cuz whenever she talks about ya, she smiles. She smiles a lot when she's around ya."
- >Ever since that day, you kept an eye out for those smiles. To your surprise, you found them quite often.
- >You feel like you could fall back to sleep, what with the warm sunshine on your body and the warmer thoughts rolling through your mind.
- >But the call of a familiar voice from outside told you that sleeping in wouldn’t be an option this morning.
- >”Anon! C’mon now, don’t make me come in there an’ shake ya’ awake. We got a lot of hard work t’day!”
- “In a minute, your highness!”
- >You roll to your feet, but Applejack still calls to you from outside.
- >”Yer highness? Don’t tell me ya went an’ woke up with an attitude, now!”
- >You can’t see it, but you know she’s got a smirk on her face as she says that to you.
- “Nope, can’t say that I did.”
- >You collect your shirt and clamber out the window of the barn, jumping down and meeting Applejack.
- >She’s ready for a long day of apple bucking, just like she always was.
- >As you pull the shirt over your head, you catch a smile from her out of the corner of your eye.
- “Where’s Mac? We’re bucking the Southern orchard today, right?”
- >”Sharp as a tack, you are. Yup, Southern orchard it is.”
- “So where’s Mac?”
- >Applejack sighs, shaking her head.
- >”He went and woke up sicker than broke-dick dog. Big lug can’t even get out of bed.”
- “Great. That means that we have to tackle that whole field by ourselves.”
- >”Just about, yup. Grab as many baskets as you can. It’s gonna be a long day.”
- >Cracking your back, you walk over to a bin filled with baskets used for apple bucking.
- >It was only seven in the morning, but you knew that with only the two of you, that field wasn’t going to get anywhere close to cleared.
- >Still, there’d be no arguing with AJ about it. That girl was determined as all hell to get a job done.
- >Returning to Applejack with a hefty stack of baskets, the two of you head off South through Sweet Apple Acres.
- >”So, sleep well last night? Ah tried findin’ ya in the farm house, but when I noticed ya weren’t in yer bed Ah just figured you’d snuck off t’sleep in the barn.”
- “Huh? Oh, yeah. Yeah I slept well. Why do you ask?”
- >”Well… no reason, really.”
- >You look to her, but her attention is drawn elsewhere in the distance.
- >Curious, you keep the conversation going.
- “Why are you so curious about how I slept?”
- >She says nothing, instead looking away from you as you both walked deeper into the orchard.
- >”…you talk in your sleep.”
- >This time you stop in your tracks.
- >She notices and stops a few paces in front of you.
- “I talk in my sleep?”
- >Nodding, she approaches you.
- “And how do you know I talk in my sleep?”
- >”Well I… I may have tried t’visit ya last night.”
- >She smiles sheepishly, tilting her hat over her eyes slightly.
- “You-… you came to visit me? In the barn?”
- >She nods again, her cheeks a light pink tint.
- “Well uh… why, if I may ask?”
- >She gives a small nervous laugh before clearing her throat.
- >“Well Ah mean, it was kinda cold in the farm house last night. Ah figured that if it was that chilly in the house, then the barn would be colder. So, Ah decided Ah’d give you a visit. T’keep ya company.”
- “Keep me company?”
- >”Yessir. Company. Nothin’ else.”
- >She gives a sly smile before turning around and walking back into the orchard.
- >As she walked though, you noticed she was walking with a slight swagger in her step, swaying her hips lightly.
- >When she glances back at you and winks, your cheeks fire up and you give a cough.
- “Uh well I, I mean that’s- yeah okay, thanks. Thanks for… uh… checking up on me. You… you never answered my question, though.”
- >”Hm?”
- “About my talking. In my sleep. How do you know I do that?”
- >She pauses, pondering it in her mind before answering you.
- >Her voice is soft and low, almost a whisper.
- >”You were sayin’ mah name.”
- >If your cheeks felt warm before, they were on fire now.
- >She notices this and laughs heartily before shaking her head.
- >”C’mon loverboy, we got work to do.”
- “Right. Yeah, yeah right we should- We should do that. Work. Yeah.”
- Many Hours Later
- >You send a fist into the tree before you, squinting your eyes when the shock of the impact rolls up your arm.
- >The apples above you shudder and the quick snap of their stems sends them neatly tumbling down into the waiting baskets below.
- >Rubbing your aching fist, you look at the long line of trees that you’ve bucked today.
- >There must have been nearly fifty baskets of fresh apples that would need to be sorted.
- >That would be a job for tomorrow, though.
- >For now, you had to keep bucking these god forsaken trees.
- >Stretching your arm and wiping the sweat from your brow, you make your way over to another tree as Applejack finishes off the one next to it.
- >Her breathing is heavy as she fans herself with her hat.
- “How many more do we have?”
- >”Well considerin’ we’re only halfway done, it looks like we might-“
- “Only halfway? Jesus… yeah, no. We’re done for the night.”
- >”Nah-uh, nope. We still have a whole half an orchard to-“
- “AJ look at us. We’re beat, we’re tired beyond belief, and the sun has almost set. We’ve been at this for an entire day, sweetheart. Let’s just call this one, alright?”
- >”…”
- “Applejack?”
- >”Alright. We’re done for today.”
- >She gives you a smile and puts her hat back on top of her head before turning and heading east.
- “Where are you going?”
- >”Just gonna go doe what you told me t’do. Ah’m gonna go relax.”
- >You scratch the back of your head, confused.
- “Uh, AJ? The house is back North. You’re heading towards-“
- >”The lake. Right.”
- >The lake?
- >It makes sense, after all. You both were pretty beat and a cool swim didn’t sound bad at all right about now.
- “Sounds good to me. I could go for a swim.”
- >”Ah knew you couldn’t say no. C’mon.”
- >As you walk through rows and rows of trees, you notice that Applejack starts to get closer and closer to you, eventually resting her head against your hip.
- >You bring a hand and rub one of her ears as she nuzzles into you happily.
- >”So… Ah was wonderin’. Why were y’all sayin mah name in yer sleep last night?”
- ”Why were you creeping into the barn in the dead of night?”
- >”Touché. But Ah already told ya why Ah was in the barn.”
- “That you did.”
- >”Sooo… ya gonna give in and tell me?”
- >You take a breath and give it some thought.
- >You loved her.
- >More than anything you’d ever encountered.
- >You suppose telling her about your dreams wouldn’t hurt all that much.
- >Even so, you were nervous.
- >Not everyday you tell the girl you like that you’ve been having… intimate, dreams about her.
- “Uh well… well I mean-…I was having this dream, right?”
- >”Right.”
- “Right. And in the dream you and me were- I mean you were there in the dream. With me. In the dream with me.”
- >”Right.”
- >This was a lot harder than you expected.
- “Yeah, right. So you were in my dream and… well I guess I must have been… uh… calling you.”
- >”Callin’ me?”
- “Yeah. In the dream. You know, ‘hey AJ, what’s up?’ Calling you. *cough*”
- >”So you were havin’ a dream with me in it, and y’all were just callin’ me?”
- “…yes?”
- >”Just seems mighty suspicious, what with your… condition last night.”
- “…my condition?”
- >”Mmhmm. You were a might stiff. Must have been sleepin’ on a bad patch of hay.”
- >She gives you a sly smile when she says the word “stiff”
- >Your face might as well have been branded red for the rest of you r life, and you dart your gaze away from her and cough.
- >A few minutes more pass by, and the two of you were greeted by the sight of a small lake.
- >You’d been here once before with Applejack for Hearts and Hooves day, so the place was filled with good memories for the both of you.
- >Applejack flings her hat over by tree and turns to you.
- >”Mind helpin’ a lady undress?”
- >Giving a small laugh, you crouch down and undo AJ’s ponytails, letting her hair fall freely around her.
- >In all honesty, you wished she let her hair down more often. She looked gorgeous when she did.
- >Well, more gorgeous than she usually was.
- “Alright, there we are. Ready for a swim?”
- >”Ready as Ah’ll ever be, darlin’.”
- >She quickly trots away, bounding into the lake and dunking her head underneath the water’s surface.
- >While she’s getting used to the water, you shed your clothes and follow suit.
- >The cold of the water nips at your bare skin, but it feels more refreshing than anything else.
- >You dive under the surface, turning over a few times while enjoying the sensation of swimming.
- >Applejack was right; this was exactly what you needed after today’s work.
- >Popping your head above the surface of the water and throwing what hair you have back, you let out a content sigh.
- >The relaxation is short lived, as Applejack jumps you in a sneak attack, dunking you back underwater.
- >Oh no you don’t.
- >You quickly grasp her waist and tug her underwater with you, tumbling beneath the lake’s shimmering surface.
- >Even though your vision is blurred underwater, you can clearly see Applejack’s smile as the two of you wrestle with one another.
- >You release her and surface, gasping for air in between laughs.
- >In a flash, Applejack bounds from underneath you and tackles you back into the water.
- >God she was determined to win this.
- >Tussling too and fro, you’re able to wrap your arms around her from behind, lifting her up with you above the surface of the water.
- >”Oh don’t you dare!”
- >A sinister grin creeps onto your face.
- >”Anon, Ah’m warnin’ ya, don’t you da-“
- >Her warning is replaced by an excited squeal as you toss her into the air, sending her plunging into the waiting water.
- “Gonna have to try a lot harder than that to take me down, Ms. Applejack.”
- >Applejack pops her head out of the water and glares over at you.
- >”So it’s a dirty fight now is it?”
- “Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t realize we set down the ground rules.”
- >You give a smarmy grin back to her, but she dons one as well before disappearing under the water.
- >The moon was already high in the sky by now, and you couldn’t see into the water to save your life.
- >You stand still, arms spread out from you in preparation.
- >Any second now.
- >…
- >Aaaany second now…
- >…
- >NOW!
- >You jump to your left and wrap your arms around Applejack as she attempts to sneak up on you.
- >”How in tarnation?!”
- “Like I said, gotta do better than that. C’mon, mix it up.”
- >You toss her back out from you, laughing heartily as you do so.
- >Sputtering, Applejack whips her mane back so you can see her glare a lot more clearly.
- “Aw what’s the matter?”
- >”This time Ah’m getting’ you, Anon. And you ain’t gonna do a thing t’stop me.”
- >You give a competitive salute.
- “Yeah, good luck with that.”
- >She stares at you for a while, and you catch a twinkle in her eye as she drops below the surface of the lake once more.
- >Getting back into your stance from before, you ready yourself.
- >She’d probably try the right this time, so-
- >You spot a hint of movement in front of you.
- >The front? That was a risky move; you had to admit that much.
- >She inches closer to you, but you allow it.
- >You wanted her to think she’d got you off guard before nabbing her, so you let her get closer and closer to you.
- >You thought that she was going to go for your feet.
- “Nice try AJ, but not good eno-“
- >Your breath catches in your throat and your eyes widen at the strange sensation you begin to feel.
- >The words in your mouth disappear, replaced by a small gasp.
- >She’d certainly caught you off guard, that was for sure.
- >Applejack peaks her head out of the water, just enough for her to catch her breath and gives you a smile.
- >”Ah win.”
- “I… you uh…”
- >Before you can say anything though, she returns below the water, and that sensation returns to you more than before.
- >Your legs give slightly as your body reacts to Applejack’s sudden… assertiveness.
- >A calm washes over you and you lean your head back, taking all of this in.
- >Pin pricks dot your spine, and your head gets lighter than you’d like it to be.
- >Your breathing escalates, but in the middle of it all you’re able to think a little clearly, and your giving nature takes over.
- >You dart your hands into the water and grasp Applejack’s head, gently tugging her off of you and pulling her back to the surface.
- >As soon as she releases you a gasp shoots from your mouth.
- >Too close.
- >Applejack gives a surprised, if not slightly annoyed, look.
- >”Now why’d ya go an’ do that?”
- “I was… too close for… just give me a second, okay?”
- >Your mind was all over the place, your thoughts addled and confused by mists of passion.
- >She was… she just up and…
- >You drop to your knees and take a deep breath, your face burning up now that you’re thinking the scenario over.
- “…why did you-“
- >Applejack silences you with a soft kiss, her lips meeting yours in a tender embrace.
- >She breaks from you momentarily and gives a soft smile.
- >”Ah just wanted to. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that, now is there?”
- “Hm… I guess not.”
- >”So… ya gonna let me finish what Ah started, or do ya have to make me beg?”
- >Her face is still being held in your hands, and you run a finger down her cheek while rubbing her ear with the other.
- “AJ, you’re not… are you saying you want to- that you’re ready to-“
- >She nods, nuzzling into your palm affectionately.
- >“Ah trust you, Anon. More than anyp0ny Ah’ve ever met in mah entire life. If Ah were to be with anyone, Ah’d choose you.”
- “I-… thank you, Applejack. I trust you too… I love you.”
- >”Ah know.”
- >Gently clutching the back of her head in your hand, you pull her in as she wraps her hooves around you shoulders, holding onto your neck as the two of you embrace yet again in a kiss.
- >Intensity soon takes over as both of you relish in each other’s closeness, deep sighs eliciting from Applejack each time she exhales.
- >Grabbing her in a hug, you stand up and walk with her out of the lake, not once breaking the kiss you two shared.
- >”What’re ya-“
- >Making your way over to the tree, you lay her down on the ground on her back, her long blonde mane splayed out along the grass.
- >Her eyelids become heavy as she looks at you, your body hovering above her as you get down on all fours to greet her once more.
- >Dotting her neck with pecks and kisses sends her into a light fit of satisfied giggles, a hoof lightly tracing circles on you back as you do so.
- >You kissing gradually trails down her body, starting at her chest and moving down to her stomach.
- >The care free giggles have ceased, replaced by soft moans as you explore her further and further.
- >You were going to make sure that what she was doing with you would be worth it in the end. She deserved that much, and you were more than happy to oblige.
- >Applejack’s hind legs relax as your mouth trails below her stomach, but they tense up once you find your mark.
- >A short, sharp gasp snaps from Applejack’s mouth, her breathing stopped and her head tilted upwards.
- >As you carry onward, her legs rest on your shoulders and your hands wander down to her flank, slowly caressing it as you continue to take Applejack in.
- >Everything about her envelopes your senses.
- >You felt it all, and you relished in knowing that you were making her happy.
- >Grasping her flank firmer than before, you increase your intensity as Applejack softly whispers out your name again and again.
- >You can feel her legs twitch, and you know she’s reaching her peak.
- >Her legs wrap around your head, your face now buried into her waist.
- >”Anon Ah… wait… yer gonna-“
- >Her body goes rigid and her voice cracks into a high gasp, slowly trailing off into a deep moan as her once stiff body relaxes and goes limp.
- >Applejack’s breathing is heavy, but steady nonetheless, as she lifts her head up to look at you with tired eyes.
- >”That… not fair…”
- >Finally parting your mouth from her, you grin slightly and ask.
- ”Not fair?”
- >”Did all that for me… ah never did that… for you..”
- >You make your way back up to Applejack’s face, her eyes shining in the moonlight above.
- >”Maybe Ah could… fix that…”
- >You feel a hind leg brush up against you in between your legs.
- >It was hard to ignore your current state, and Applejack wasn’t helping in the slightest with her teasing.
- “What did you have in mind?”
- >Her lips part into a grin, and suddenly you’re on your back, Applejack straddling you slightly.
- >Even now, with what the two of you were doing for the first time, she was still as confident as ever.
- >”Ah was thinking that you let little ‘ole me take care of ya now.”
- “But-“
- >”No buts. You’ve been more than… giving t’me, an’ Ah’m wantin’ to treat you right by me.”
- >Her tail flicks side to side, tickling your legs as she bends down to you, dotting your neck in kisses.
- >Your hands comb through her hair, the night air drying you both off slightly as time goes by.
- >Even after a hard day’s work and a swim to boot, she still smells as refreshing as ever.
- >Applejack gives a quiet laugh, reaching back between her legs to position herself over you.
- >As she sits herself up, just inches above you, you can see the red tint of her cheeks and the smallest of shivers wash over her.
- “Applejack…”
- >She wavers.
- “…I love you.”
- >The smile she gives you is the most beautiful, honest smile you had ever seen.
- >”Ah love you too.”
- >And with that, the two of you become closer than you’d ever imagined you’d be.
- >Time rolled by, slowed by the calming embrace of two young beings embraced within one another.
- >As the moon made its way across the star lit sky, the boy promised himself that he would stay by the girl’s side for as long as he lived.
- >And the girl promised herself that she would be his, to only be taken by time immemorial.
- >And in the later years, when the bang and crack of war surrounded the air the boy breathed, he would remember this night.
- >He would remember it, as a time he could always return to.
- >A time when things were right with the world.
