  1. >Day 782 in Equestria.
  2. "So, what? This spell is supposed to let me teleport anywhere I want?"
  3. >"That's correct. I've developed it into a scroll system, so anyone who just reads is should be able to cast the magic, pony or otherwise. Transferring the spell onto the scroll was the hard part, but casting it should be easy enough. All you need is a basic grasp of phonics."
  4. >Trixie has been working on a way to let you somehow use magic in order to help Pinkie and the Cakes with deliveries.
  5. >Turns out teleporting to wherever you need to go is WAY faster than just taking the train or a blimp.
  6. >"Before we test out the scroll though, I need to link up our minds."
  7. "Say what now?"
  8. >"Our minds. I'm going to open up a channel between them so I can communicate with you wherever you end up, just in case things go haywire."
  9. "I guess that makes sense. It's not going to hurt, is i-"
  10. >BALLS THAT SMARTS.
  11. >Trixie is casting some sort of purple sparkly beam at your forehead, and it stings like all hell.
  12. "Fuck me, THAT STUNG YOU SHIT."
  13. >"Oh hush up, it's not that bad. Now stop talking and try to communicate to me with your mind."
  14. "Oh...kay? What should I say?...think...you know."
  15. >"Anything, really. Just try to project something to me."
  16. >You're stupidly silent, like Helen Keller at a mime convention, and try to reach out to Trixie with the only thing that comes to mind.
  17. "..."
  18. >"Ah I'm getting something, now ju-... Is that a kitty face?"
  19. <Yes>
  20. >"Why are you... never mind. How do you feel?"
  21. <Pretty good all things considered. So can I project only words into your head, or other stuff too? Like images?>
  22. >"As long as the link is active you should be able to project anything to me, all that's needed is consentr- OH DEAR CELESTIA WHAT IS THAT?"
  23. <Pinkie's booty.>
  24. >"STOP THAT. THAT IS UNCOUTH AND UNNECESSARY."
  25. <What's your opinion on her flank? Here, I'll give you a close up.>
  26. >"I do not want a clo- CEASE THIS RIGHT NOW BEFORE YOU SCAR MY MENTAL PLAIN."
  27. <Kay.>
  28. >"I swear, why you insist on using the crude face of a feline as a main source of mental offense is BEYOND me.
  29. <Wanna see something neat?>
  30. >"No. No I do not want to see anything NEAT. I want you to just stop sending me mental images so we can focus on simply communicating via mi- I SAID STOP WITH THE FLANK NONSENSE."
  31. <Just LOOK at that marehood. Magnificent isn't it?>
  32. >"...I despise you."
  33. <Glad we're on the same page.>
  34. >"It's clear that you've grasped the basic concept of telepathy. Now, let's get started on reading that scroll."
  35. <So what is it, just a bunch of rhymy-whimey-jibber-jabber like Zecora does?>
  36. >"You don't have to use the mind link anymore, Anon."
  37. "Kay."
  38. >"And please, don't even compare me to that philistine zebra. This spell required months of research and practice. Without the aid of Twilight's library and frequent trips to Canterlot, I probably could not replicate a scroll of this potential."
  39. >You're shocked. You didn't think Trixie would go to this sort of effort just to help you out.
  40. "Thanks. I appreciate it. This should definitely help Pinkie and I out."
  41. >Trixie smiles and nods.
  42. >It's a sweet moment.
  43. >Then Pinkie Pie bursts into the caravan.
  44. >PP: "Hi Trixie! Heya Anon! Guess what I have!"
  45. "A terrific flank?"
  46. >Trixie shudders.
  47. >PP: "On no, silly, I brought a cookie!"
  48. >She then produces a massive cookie, drizzled in chocolate, from nowhere in particular.
  49. >That's your Pinkie Pie.
  50. >PP: "I was just busy down at the bakery making a ton of these fugey-cookies, when I realized that no one ordered me to MAKE fudgey-cookies. So I decided I would go around Ponyville and give them away! Where's Hush, I bet she'd just LOVE this thing."
  51. >Trix: "Pinkie, it's eleven o'clock in the morning, Hush is at school."
  52. >PP: "Oh... okie-dokie then! I'll just put it over on this table on that old lookin' place-mat you got there. What have you guys been up to?"
  53. "Oh man Pinkie, it's so cool! I can talk to Trixie with my MIND now, and I've been sending her images of your sweet plo-"
  54. >Trix: "PINKIE DON'T PUT THAT ON THE SCROLL!"
  55. >It's too late. The massive fudgey-cookie slams onto the scroll and oozes some chocolate onto it's surroundings.
  56. >All of you are ram-rod still, bracing for whatever's going to happen.
  57. >Nothing happens.
  58. >Fancy that.
  59. "...Huh. Well that went better than I expecte-"
  60. >LIGHTNING OH GOD LIGHTNING EVERYWHERE
  61. >The scroll blasts the cookie into nonexistence and glows with an otherworldly light, sparks and static running across the caravan's walls and floor, leeching onto the three of you.
  62. "PINKIE GODDAMMIT WHY?!"
  63. >PP: "HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW YOU WERE DOING WIBBLY-WOBBLEY-MAGICKY-WHACKITY STUFF?!"
  64. >Trix: "The scroll has become unstable! We need to get out of here before it overloads and-"
  65. >A tendril of energy connects with Trixie and she disappears with a loud SNAP sound.
  66. "Oh fuck that's not good."
  67. >SNAP
  68. "Pinkie? Oh fuck oh shit oh fuck oh fuck oh shit oh fu-"
  69. >SNAP
  70. >Suddenly you're twisting and turning through dark shrouds of black and purple wind, tumbling helplessly through space and time.
  71. >FUCKING PINKIE PIE AND HER SWEET, SUGARY SHENANIGANS.
  72. >You land on a hard, solid surface on your back, the wind knocked out of you slightly.
  73. >You stumble to your feet and look around.
  74. >What the fuck?
  75. >Buildings.
  76. >Huge, TALL buildings.
  77. >And... cars?
  78. >You hadn't seen a car in a long time.
  79. >In fact, you hadn't seen anything like this since you first came to Eque-...
  80. >People.
  81. >PEOPLE.
  82. >There were a massive amount of humans walking by you, some glancing at something at your feet, the rest just going about their business.
  83. >You to the ground, and see what you think is Trixie and Pinkie Pie.
  84. >Except their not ponies anymore.
  85. >They've turned into humans.
  86. >At least they're clothed, for some reason.
  87. >Pinkie looks like she did before when Twilight's spell backfired back in Chapter 6, but now she's wears a light pink blouse and a blue skirt.
  88. >Trixie's wearing a blue blouse and dark blue pants, but her wizard gear is still on her.
  89. >You'd make a zany comment or a one liner, but now's not really the time.
  90. "Get up. We need to move."
  91. >The two of them groggily wake up and look around.
  92. >Trix: "What... what happened? Did we make it out of the caravan?"
  93. "Not really, no. I need you to do something for me."
  94. >Trix: "What?"
  95. "Don't freak out."
  96. >Trix: "Why in Equestria would I... freak... out..."
  97. >She finally notices where you three are, her jaw dropping in awe and shock.
  98. >Pinkie is wide eyed at the sight of the gleaming towers of glass and steel.
  99. >You pull them to their feet and usher them forward to an alleyway.
  100. >PP: "ooh, I'm a human again! Neat!"
  101. >Trix: "What? What do you mean you're huma- MY HOOVES! Where are my hoo-"
  102. "DON'T. FREAK. OUT."
  103. >Trix: "B-b-but I don't- Where are- What's happening? What's wrong with my legs? Where's my tail?"
  104. >You're getting weird looks from the crowds now.
  105. "Trixie please for fuck's sake, SHUT UP and keep moving. We get somewhere quiet, you can panic all you like."
  106. >Once you're far enough into the alleyway you stop leading the two of them.
  107. "Okay, so I think that scroll misfired just a bit."
  108. >Trix: "Just a BIT? Where in Tartarus are we?! And why, in Celestia's name, AM I HUMAN?"
  109. >PP: "Teehee, I have boobies!"
  110. "Pinkie, please. Trixie, just calm down for a second."
  111. >Trix: "Calm down? Calm. DOWN? If you haven't noticed, Pinkie and I have been transformed into a completely different species! Being calm is the last thing on my mind!"
  112. >PP: "They're squishy!"
  113. "PINKIE. PLEASE."
  114. >Trixie rips off her wizard hat and begins feeling her forehead frantically.
  115. >Tears well up in her eyes.
  116. >Trix: "My... my horn... I don't have my..."
  117. >She backs into the wall of the alley and slumps to the ground, shivering and crying.
  118. >PP: "Trixie?... Trixie are you alright?"
  119. >Pinkie puts a hand on Trixie's shoulder.
  120. >Trix: "This... this is all YOUR fault!"
  121. >Pinkie is blasted back by a pulse of blue light as Trixie flares her eyes to her in anger and sorrow.
  122. >Trixie: "You, with your damned baked confection! I told you not to put that thing on my scroll! But you didn't listen! You just had to-"
  123. "Trixie!"
  124. >Trix: "WHAT?!"
  125. >You just did magic!"
  126. >She stops, her eyes wide for a moment, then looks to where Pinkie Pie landed in a pile of cardboard boxes.
  127. >Trix: "But... but I don't have a horn. How can I still cast my magic?..."
  128. >Pinkie springs to her feet and rushes to Trixie, a frying pan in her hand.
  129. >PP: "Hey! If you're going to play rough you should have told me! Don't make me go loopy on ya' now!"
  130. "Pinkie where did you get that?"
  131. >PP: "Where did I get what?"
  132. "The frying pan."
  133. >PP: "This frying pan?"
  134. "That frying pan."
  135. >PP: "I dunno I just, you know, pulled it out. Like I always do."
  136. >Trix: "We still have power... we're human, but we still have our abilities! Anon, show me Pinkie's plot!"
  137. >PP: "Say what?"
  138. >Trix: "If what I think is true, you should still be able to communicate to me via minds!"
  139. "Oh shit, you're right! Hold on, lemme think."
  140. >Trix: "...yes, perfect! That's indeed an image of... is that MY flank?"
  141. <Yup.>
  142. >Trix: "That is just absolutely-... perfect! That's perfect!"
  143. >She leaps forward and hugs you tightly, then releases you and looks triumphantly towards the alley entrance.
  144. >Trix: "The two of you are still able to defy physics, and I still retain my ability to use magic! Outstanding! Anonymous, Pinkie, follow me!"
  145. "What, wait, where are you going?"
  146. >Trix: "I built a fail-safe in the spell Pinkie ruined. It opens up a rift for us to go through that will take us BACK to Equestria. All we have to do is find it."
  147. "Trixie, from what I can tell we're in New York City. Do you have any idea how difficult it's going to be to find a temporal FUCKING rift in the middle of one of the biggest cities in the world?"
  148. >PP: "Is that it right there?"
  149. >You and Trixie look at Pinkie, then to where she's pointing.
  150. "Well... that could be a problem."
  151. >At the very top of the Empire State Building hovered a dark purple portal, pulsating ever so slightly in the New York sun.
  152. "How is no once noticing the freaky nether-portal at the top of the largest building in the city?"
  153. >Trix: "We're the only ones that can see it. It's part of my fail-safe, to ensure that no one but us can use it to get back."
  154. >PP: "Yay! Now we can get back home! Ohohoh, are you going to teleport us up there, Trixie?"
  155. >Trixie looks up to the portal and furrows her brow in concentration, only to let out an exasperated sigh.
  156. >Trix: "It's too far up for me to take all three of us up there. We'll need to climb the building to get there successfully."
  157. >PP: "But only Spider-Man could get us up there in time!"
  158. >...
  159. "Pinkie."
  160. >PP: "Yes?"
  161. "No."
  162. >PP: "Okie-dokie."
  163. -------
  164. >Tourists shuffle slowly around the entrance of the Empire State Building, taking photos with family and friends, seeing the sites.
  165. >The sites, which just so happen to include you apparently.
  166. >After all it's not everyday you see a girl with pink hair and another one dressed as a purple wizard.
  167. >The stares the three of you are getting are... unnerving to say the least.
  168. >Maybe it's because Pinkie refuses to stop mucking about with her breasts.
  169. >In public.
  170. >Goddammit.
  171. >The three of you enter the tower, only to be blocked by more tourists.
  172. >Trixie is starting to lose her patience.
  173. >Trix: "This is ridiculous! You there, fat one. Move your mass over to the side, we're on an urgent task and you are impeding our progress."
  174. >FatMan: "Shut the fuck up you faggy wizard, bitch."
  175. >Trix: "I... I beg your pardon?!"
  176. >FatMan: "Oh my god, are you deaf or something? I'm here for the tour, so stop bothering me you dumb broad."
  177. >PP: "Hey! You can't talk to someone like that! You should apologize, like a good pony!"
  178. >FatMan: "Oh you can go suck a dick, you pink haired dyke. What are yo-"
  179. >Your fist impacts into the man's fleshy, chubby "face" with all your might, sending him through the large crowd of tourists and into a couple of security guards.
  180. "Fuckin' great, so we do it the hard way. RUN!"
  181. >All three of you are off in a sprint into the tower, leaping over the bodies of groaning New Yorkers and guards.
  182. >You cut around corners and hallways, searching for an elevator to take you to the top floor, only to have more guards appear at the end of the hall.
  183. >Guard: "Stop right there! Quick, call up Mahonie, we have a break in!"
  184. "There's a Mahonie here?! Oh for FUCKS SAKE."
  185. >Trixie blasts a ball of energy at the guards, knocking them back and allowing you to pass.
  186. "Nice. Pinkie, get that frying pan ready. There's bound to be more of these guys."
  187. >Finally you find an elevator.
  188. "Get in."
  189. >Trixie: "What? Why would we just sit in such a tiny room? We have to reach the top of this spire!"
  190. >You grasp Trixie and shove her into the elevator, Pinkie just bounces on in, and you press the button for the top floor.
  191. >The elevator lurches upward sharply, and you're on your way.
  192. >Trix: "It... it's a moving room?"
  193. >PP: Oh boy! Does only go up or down, or can it go in ALL directions? I would make one that goes in any direction!"
  194. "You'd be a great Gene Wilder fan."
  195. >PP: "Who's Gene, and who is he wilder than?"
  196. "Nothing. It's going to take a few minutes to get to the top. There are 102 floors on this thing."
  197. >You glance at the LED screen showing the floors you are on.
  198. >Floor 20.
  199. >Trix: "Over one hundred floors? Is that even possible?"
  200. "Yep. They built this tower back in '31. Wasn't until we built the World Trade Center in '72 that is used to be the tallest building in the world. What can I say? Humans like to build our things big."
  201. >Floor 43
  202. "Looks like they sped these things up. They used to be much slower."
  203. >Trix: "How... how do you know all this?"
  204. "Because I used to live here."
  205. >Before Trixie or Pinkie can ask you further, the elevator comes to a sudden stop.
  206. >PP: "Uhm, is that supposed to happen?"
  207. >You're only on floor 70.
  208. "No, it's not. C'mon, we've got to get to a different elevator."
  209. >Jumping up, you bust through the emergency hatch of the elevator, and lift Pinkie and Trixie up with you.
  210. >Trix: "Do you hear that?"
  211. >You glance over the edge of elevator to see that one is coming up to where you are.
  212. >Grabbing Trixie and Pinkie, you leap and land on the incoming elevator.
  213. "Okay, all we have to do is get inside and we can-"
  214. >Bullets fly out from the roof of the elevator, and you lurch back in order to avoid getting hit.
  215. "Pinkie!"
  216. >She nods, and bursts into the elevator, frying pan in hand, and proceeds subdue the police officers within.
  217. >Trix: "What were those things they fired at us? They made holes in the ceiling, but I could not see what they were. Is it magic?"
  218. "They're guns."
  219. >Trix: "I suppose they're used to incapacitate undesirables. Does it stun you, or send an electrical sho-"
  220. "They kill you."
  221. >Pinkie and Trixie are speechless, and Pinkie has a look of horror on her face.
  222. >PP: "They kill you? So they were trying to KILL us? Why? We didn't hurt anyone, well not SERIOUSLY hurt anyone anyway."
  223. "Let's just say New York isn't the best place to appear as a threat to a national monument."
  224. >Pressing the button for floor 102, you again begin your ascent.
  225. >The silence that lingers is a bit off putting, to say the least.
  226. "Pinkie."
  227. >PP: "Mmhmm?"
  228. "I love you."
  229. >Pinkie widens her eyes in surprise and smiles wide.
  230. >PP: "And I love you too! It's just a little weird for you to say that now, is all."
  231. "Yeah, well I guess I want to say it just in case, you know?"
  232. >PP: "...in case what?"
  233. The elevator comes to a slow stop as you arrive at the top of the tower.
  234. >The doors crawl open and you're greeted by the site of the New York Skyline.
  235. >Trixie steps to the edge, looking out, a look of amazement on her face.
  236. >Trix: "Look at it all... how many humans do you think live here? It must be in the millions..."
  237. "No time to admire the scenery, we have to get to that portal."
  238. >The glowing orb just twenty feet above you is still pulsating with magic, but much more hectically now.
  239. >Trix: "That's not good."
  240. "What? What's not good?"
  241. >Trix: "It's becoming unstable. We need to go through it before it dissipates."
  242. "Why didn't you say so earlier, let's go!"
  243. >Suddenly you hear doors on the other side of the tower burst open, as the gruff voice of a police chief gives orders to capture the three of you.
  244. "Go! Go go go!"
  245. >You three start to climb up the tower as fast as you can.
  246. >PP: "This is that 'just in case' thing you were talking about, wasn't it?"
  247. "Just about, yeah. Move!"
  248. >You're almost there.
  249. "Pinkie, you fist!"
  250. >PP: "What? No! You go first!"
  251. "No arguments, silly filly. Get up there!"
  252. >You grab the back of her blouse and fling her up at the portal, dissolving away as she enters it, her form turning to it's original pony form as she disappears.
  253. "Trixie, you're up! Get in that thi-"
  254. >A bullet slams into the brick of the wall you're latched to, and you rip your hand away in defense.
  255. >Shit.
  256. >You lose your grip.
  257. >Oh SHIT.
  258. >You fall back and land with a thud, several members of the NYPD surrounding you.
  259. >You look to Trixie, waiting for her to leap into the portal and return to Equestria.
  260. >What she does instead takes you by surprise.
  261. >She jumps from the ledge above you, bringing a swirl of magical energy down on the cops around you, flinging them into the walls and guard rails around you.
  262. >You leap to your feet, cracking one of the cops in the jaw before he can get a shot off with his pistol.
  263. "Why didn't you go through?"
  264. >Trix: "What can I say, you've grown on me. Come now, we can still get to the portal and go ho-"
  265. >Suddenly a large flash of light bursts from the top of the spire, a loud crack ringing through the air.
  266. >You turn to look at the portal, but it pulsates a final time and blinks out of existence.
  267. "No..."
  268. >Trix: "Anon, there are more of these men on their way. We have to leave this area."
  269. "How.. how are we going to get-"
  270. >"We're not. That's it. Now come on!"
  271. >Trixie grabs your wrist and pulls you back into the elevator shaft, no empty after the elevator returned to the bottom floor.
  272. >She casts a spell on your arms and legs, as well as hers, for protection and you slide down the cables of the shaft for all 102 floors.
  273. >The two of you burst from the entrance of the Empire State building, only to be surrounded by a platoon of cops and swat teams.
  274. >"Hold my hand."
  275. "What?"
  276. >"Just do it."
  277. >You grasp Trixie's hand, and suddenly you're flying through a dark void of black and purple shadows, only to appear on the roof of an building a block away.
  278. >"Come on, we need to find shelter and lay low for the night."
  279. "Give me a minute..."
  280. >"Anonymous we don't have time to stall, we have to-"
  281. "GIVE ME A FUCKING MINUTE!"
  282. >You slump to the ground, holding your head in your hands.
  283. "Can... can you make another one?"
  284. >"Another one?"
  285. "Another scroll. Can you make another one?"
  286. >Trixie doesn't answer, looking down to the ground dejectedly instead.
  287. "Great... fantastic.. what happens now?"
  288. >"...we live. Or try to, at least. There must be something we can do to get by in this world."
  289. "We're going to give up? Just like that? Really?!"
  290. >"Anon, that scroll took me over a month to adapt with all the collective knowledge that Canterlot had at it's disposal! From what I can tell, this world knows NOTHING of true magic. If I'm going to make another scroll for you, it would take YEARS to develop."
  291. >Now you feel like a dick. Just a little bit.
  292. >"So until I can do that, we need a plan in order to live. We can't stay in this city. Have you come across any human settlements that could cater to you and I?"
  293. "What do you mean?"
  294. >"Anon, I'm a performer. If we find another caravan, I'm sure I could... I could start preforming magic to ponies again."
  295. "People."
  296. >"Right... people. Is there a place we could find a caravan anywhere close by?"
  297. "No, people in my world don't really use caravans or carriages. We have cars for that. Besides, I don't think you should waste your talents on street magic."
  298. >"Oh and I suppose you have a better idea?"
  299. >You ponder, then grow a massive grin on your face when you come up with a plan.
  300. >It's a long shot, but it MAY just work.
  301. "Come on, we're heading West."
  302. >You hop up and jump off the roof to the fire escape and down to the ground.
  303. >Trixie levitates herself down to where you are, a puzzled look on her face.
  304. >"West? You mean towards Appleloosa?"
  305. "FUCK NO. We're going to Nevada."
  306. >"Why? What's so special in Nevada that we plan on going there?"
  307. >You give her a smile and a wink.
  308. "Vegas."
  309. -------
  310. >Day 1,460 on Earth
  311. "Look I can't let you backstage, it's against regulations."
  312. >"Oh come on man, I just want to meet her!"
  313. "No can do, she's not available for meetings at this time. Get out."
  314. >The journalist you've been arguing with for the past twenty minutes gives a gruff sigh and shuffles off.
  315. >In the four years you've been back on Earth, Trixie has become a national sensation in the world of stage magic.
  316. >The two of you started small with some street magic on the streets of Las Vegas, and eventually you were able to convince some casino owners to let her try out for stage performances.
  317. >After the first year, she had tour dates lined up all across the country just to see "The Great and Powerful Trixie" preform her amazing feats of mystery and illusion.
  318. >And you just so happened to be her manager.
  319. >You walk into Trixie's room backstage at Caesar's Palace, a bouquet of roses in your hands.
  320. "From an admirer."
  321. >Trixie smiles, still putting on some of her make up for the show that started in a few minutes.
  322. >"Thank you. I have something for you as well."
  323. "Oh? Did I get a secret admirer as well? Tell me they're white roses, I love white roses.
  324. >Trixie gives a small chuckle and shakes her head.
  325. >"No I think, you'll like this much more than roses."
  326. >Trixie walks lightly up to you, her silk cape flowing behind her, holding a small piece of rolled up parchment.
  327. "What's this."
  328. >Trixie just smiles.
  329. "...No."
  330. >She nods, still beaming.
  331. "Really? You made a new one?!"
  332. >"Yes! Now you can return home!... I think.."
  333. "You think?"
  334. >"Well you see, without all of my old research from before I had to just go on memory to make you a new scroll. It WILL get you back to Equestria, but there's a side effect. A nasty one."
  335. "How nasty?"
  336. >"Like I said, you'll be back in Equestria, but I don't know WHEN in Equestria you'll be returned. You could be taken back to when you originally arrived, it could take you into the future. I don't know. It could even be a different Equestria, one where things have happened completely differently. Also, your memory has a 50/50 chance of being erased."
  337. "That's... that's pretty nasty, yeah."
  338. >She hands you the scroll, and you unravel it slowly.
  339. >You stop.
  340. "You're not coming with me?"
  341. >Trixie gives you a sad smile and shakes her head.
  342. >"It can only take one person; it's not as powerful as the original. Besides, I think I may have found my true calling here on Earth. It's sad to not have Hush with me, but if I know Pinkie Pie, she's most definitely taking care of her. I wouldn't trust my little Hush with anyone less."
  343. >You smile, and give Trixie a hug, squeezing her tightly.
  344. "Thanks Trix. I'll miss you."
  345. >"And I you, Anon."
  346. >Opening the scroll, you read the symbols and runes and blink out of existence in a flash of light.
  347. >Trixie was left standing alone in her room, her bouquet in her arms with a tear rolling down her face.
  348. >The card on the flowers read, "To The Great and Powerful Trixie, the Biggest Cunt, and Friend, In All the Land. ~Anonymous~"
  349.
  350. -------
  351.
  352. >You stood outside the doors to Princess Celestia's throne room while Twilight spoke with her within.
  353. >You're name is Anonymous, at least that's the name you gave yourself.
  354. >You knew all about this strange world you were in and the multicolored ponies that inhabited, but you knew nothing about yourself or where you came from.
  355. >Twilight brought you to Canter lot in the hopes that Celestia could help you understand where you came from.
  356. >You didn't have to wait long.
  357. >Only minutes pass when you hear a muffled yell emit from the throne room.
  358. >You couldn't hear whose voice it was, but it seemed deeper than Twilight's.
  359. >Celestia?
  360. >Why would she ye-
  361. >A third guard pony bursts through the doors and locks eyes with you.
  362. >Guard: "You. Come."
  363. >You stumble a bit, straighten yourself up, and quickly follow the guard into the Princess' chamber.
  364. >The scale of it hits you.
  365. >This room is massive.
  366. >The white marble and gems take the setting sun's rays and make them dance across the room in a brilliant display.
  367. >You follow the rays as they bounce from gem to gem, shimmering in their beauty, and find Princess Celestia waiting for you at the end of the room.
  368. >The look on her face seems...
  369. >Problematic.
  370. >Now you're only ten feet away from her, shadowed by her flowing mane.
  371. >She looks down to you.
  372. >Celestia: "Speak."
  373. >You pause.
  374. >You at least expected some form of greeting, but you brush it aside.
  375. "...Okay? What should I-"
  376. >Celestia: "Name."
  377. "I... well I don't really know what my name is. I don't even know if I have a name. So I just chose to-"
  378. >Celestia: "NAME."
  379. >This time she said it much stronger, cutting you off.
  380. >The tension in the room could be cut by a knife."
  381. "..Anonymous."
  382. >Celestia: Anonymous, what species are you?"
  383. >You look at Twilight, confused by the manner in which Celestia has been questioning you.
  384. >Her face appears slightly drained, and she fidgets slightly.
  385. >She looked scared.
  386. >Why was she scared?
  387. >Celestia: "Anonymous."
  388. >You snap your head back to the Princess.
  389. >Celestia: "What. Species. Are. You."
  390. >The knot in your stomach grows, and you swallow back your trepidation.
  391. "Human. I'm human."
  392. >Her gaze lowers slightly, and she pauses.
  393. >Celestia: "Human. Well. That's unfortunate."
  394. >Unfortunate?
  395. >Why are you unfortunate?
  396. >You look to Twilight again, meeting her eyes.
  397. >She turns her gaze from you.
  398. >What is this?
  399. >Celestia: "Anonymous. I'm afraid I have no choice."
  400. "What do you mean? No choice? What's going on?"
  401. >You take a step towards the Princess.
  402. >Those guard ponies are instantly on you, as glowing rings lock onto your wrists and hold you back.
  403. "Hey!"
  404. >Celestia: "You must understand, we have not had to deal with your kind for some time now."
  405. >What's going on?
  406. >Celestia: "The last time we did, there were many lives lost."
  407. >What is she talking about. Why did the guards hold you down?
  408. >Celestia: "For the safety of my kingdom, I will have to deal with you in a manner I have not used in a millenium."
  409. >You feel light. Like you're fading.
  410. >Celestia: "I am sorry. Truly. I do this for the good of my ponies."
  411. >Suddenly, light.
  412. >So much light.
  413. >You feel warmth spark across your skin, like static crawling along your entire being.
  414. >Wind.
  415. >And then nothing.
  416. >You drop to your knees, panting.
  417. >As you look up, your mid goes blank in disbelief.
  418. >The ground.
  419. >It's gray and dusty.
  420. >And it's so...
  421. >Quiet.
  422. >Dark.
  423. >As you look up to the sky, you realize where you are.
  424. >You stand there, gazing at a planet in the distance.
  425. >You're on your knees as you begin to break down.
  426. >Without warning.
  427. >Without reason.
  428. >Without explaination.
  429. >Princess Celestia has banished you.
  430.
  431. >To the moon.
  432.
  433. ~End~
