  1. >It was dark.
  2. >Cold.
  3. >You were sitting in a chair, your legs tied to its legs and your hands bound behind your back.
  4. >From what you guessed you were in the basement of the Manehattan police station.
  5. >Blood trickled down from your right eye.
  6. >Mahonie was having a field day with you right now.
  7. >"You know, I'm actually kind of glad you showed up again. I honestly thought you weren't coming back, what with you being gone for a good five years."
  8. >He slams a hoof across your face, and you spit up blood on the impact.
  9. >"But here you are, running through my city once more. I have to hand it to you, shithouse, I almost missed you."
  10. >Right hook.
  11. >"Almost."
  12. "Heh... hate to disappoint you, "Officer Marehood," but I could have gone a couple of life times without seeing you're fuckin' mug."
  13. >You give him a smile, a small trail of blood trickling from the corner of your mouth.
  14. >Mahonie promptly punches you straight in the forehead.
  15. >Everything is hazy again, and the blood from your right eye clouds your vision.
  16. >But you just give him another grin.
  17. "Do you treat all your prisoners this way, or am I just the closest thing to a special somep0ny you have around here?"
  18. >Mahonie grits his teeth and glares at you.
  19. "Actually that would probably explain the mustache you got going on there. Not a big hit with the mares, now are you? You prefer big, throbbing, colt co-"
  20. >He spins around and bucks you straight in the chest, the wind in your lungs escaping you.
  21. >You'd think that the chair would get knocked over by now, but you think it must be bolted to the floor.
  22. >You can barely breathe.
  23. >"I don't need to worry about a special somep0ny, not anymore at least. After all, you gave us a nice little present when we knocked your sorry ass out in that alleyway."
  24. >Your eyes widen and you grit your teeth.
  25. "Where's Pinkie? What did you do to her?!"
  26. >Mahonie lets out a cold, cruel laugh.
  27. >"Oh, wouldn't you like to know?"
  28. "If you touched her I swear I'll break every single bone in your bo-"
  29. >He strikes you in the neck.
  30. >"Watch your FUCKING mouth you piece of shit! You keep this up and I'll do things to you that you could never fucking comprehend."
  31. "*gack*...ha..hahaha..."
  32. >"What's so funny, shit-stain?"
  33. "You? *cough* Hurt ME in ways I can't *cough* comprehend? Bitch, I fell from the goddamn MOON. You aren't even close to my level, you fucking filly. Why don't you *cough* go suckle your mother and stop trying to play with the big boys, huh?"
  34. >Mahonie brings his hoof up for another strike.
  35. "Hey, Mahonie."
  36. >He pauses.
  37. >"What?"
  38. "I have a secret to tell you."
  39. >"Speak up, I can't hear you what with you wheezing like that."
  40. >He smacks you across the face and gets nose to nose with you.
  41. >"Now what did you want to tell me, you worthless pile of crap?"
  42. >You chuckle, and do the only thing that comes to mind.
  43. >You concentrate extra hard, in the hopes that what you're seeing will somehow make its way to wherever Trixie is. She'd appreciate the trip down memory lane.
  44. >You look at Mahonie, and spit in his fucking mouth.
  45. ":3"
  46. >"..."
  47. "X3"
  48. >Your vision cuts to black and Mahonie lands his hardest punch right in the middle of your forehead once more.
  49.
  50. -------
  51.
  52. >"...Anon? Anon please wake up..."
  53. >Your eyes flutter open, but your sight is still blurry from the beating your glorious face recieved.
  54. "P-...Pinkie?"
  55. >The pink blur in front of you nods, and you can hear her sniffling a bit and wiping her eyes.
  56. "Pinkie, where are we? I can't... really see all that great right now..."
  57. >"I think we're in the police station... Anon, are you alright? You're bleeding from your eyebrow and you were knocked out for a while.."
  58. >You sit up and rub your temples.
  59. "Yeah... yeah I think I'm alright. More importantly, are you okay? Did they do anything to you?"
  60. >Your vision is getting clearer, and you can clearly make out Pinkie Pie.
  61. >Her eyes are puffy from crying, and her mane is scraggly and messed up.
  62. >Her fur is scuffed with dirt.
  63. "Pinkie, what did they do to you?"
  64. >She looks down in shame and won't meet your eyes.
  65. >You reach out and bring Pinkie in for a hug, holding her in your arms tightly.
  66. >You just sit there with her, resting her in your arms, and you can feel her shoulders shudder as she begins crying again.
  67. >You just let her cry.
  68. >She doesn't need to say anything else, you know what happened.
  69. >You reassure Pinkie with your embrace, but inside a torrent of hate and fury swirls within you, fueling the vengeance you are soon to unleash.
  70. "Pinkie."
  71. >She turns her gaze to you, still sniffling.
  72. "I love you. With all my heart. Don't ever forget that, not for one second."
  73. >She croaks a little, but cracks a small smile at you.
  74. >"I love you too, Anon... you silly filly."
  75. >She kisses your nose, and despite the blood and hoof marks on your face, you blush as hard as you always do when she does that.
  76. >Pinkie lets out a giggle at your embarrassment.
  77. >"I'm actually surprised he put us in the same cell. You think Mahonie would learn, huh?"
  78. "Mahonie's a dense motherfucker. Ready to leave this shit hole?"
  79. >Pinkie jumps down from your hug.
  80. >"Absolutely."
  81. >You hop off the cot in the cell and walk up to the bars of your cell.
  82. >Now this brings back memories.
  83. >You take your cast iron fist and grasp the cell door, and promptly rip it the FUCK off of its hinges.
  84. "Ladies first."
  85. >Pinkie smiles, and trots out of the cell.
  86. >"Will they chase us all over the place?"
  87. >Your expression turns grave and convicted.
  88. "No. Not after I get done with Mahonie."
  89. >The two of you idly walk out of the cell block and into the main halls of the police station.
  90. >Police Ponies go about their business, trotting from office to office, escorting  prisoners and filing paperwork.
  91. >One police mare spots you.
  92. >Mare: "Hey, hey where do you think you're go-"
  93. >You spin around and stare at her, your eyes unblinking, uncaring.
  94. >She looks from you to Pinkie, her eyes widening.
  95. >Mare: "Are... are you the one that Mahonie..."
  96. >Pinkie nods.
  97. >Mare: "... carry on.."
  98. "Ma'am, a favor, if you don't mind?"
  99. >Mare: "Um, sure. What is it?"
  100. "Please escort Pinkie here back to the new nightclub that just opened up in town. She has friends waiting for her there."
  101. >PP: "Anon?"
  102. "Don't worry, I'll meet you back at the club. I have to... talk with Mahonie for a bit."
  103. >Pinkie nods in understanding, and is lead out of the station by the police mare.
  104. >But before she leaves, she turns back to you.
  105. >And mouths two words.
  106. >"Hurt him."
  107. >You continue down the halls, and eventually find an office with golden letters on its nameplate.
  108. >Lieutenant J. Mahonie; Narcotics Division.
  109. >You open the door and make your way inside.
  110. >"Jane? Is that you? Did you bring me the Johnson file?"
  111. >Mahonie turns from his paper work, but before he has a chance to yell for help, you're fist is clenched around his throat.
  112. >There would be no lighthearted hi-jinx, no zany antics or tom foolery.
  113. >There would only be justice.
  114. >You pick him up with ease, and slam him down on his desk, and repeatedly punch your iron fist into his face.
  115. >Again.
  116. >And again.
  117. >And again.
  118. >"Please! Please stop!"
  119. >Your face expressionless.
  120. >But your voice is laced with loathing.
  121. "Stop? STOP?! How many times did SHE say that to you?"
  122. >"I'm sorry! I am! Please, ju-"
  123. "NO."
  124. >You crack your fist against his jaw, cutting him off, and reach for something on his desk.
  125. >A stapler.
  126. >Adequate.
  127. >You raise the stapler above your head and begin wildly swinging it at his snout, tiny lines of metal appearing in his skin with every impact.
  128. "PLEASE STO-"
  129. "GO AHEAD. KEEP TELLING ME TO STOP. SEE WHERE THAT GETS YOU."
  130. >You fling the stapler across the room and pick Mahonie back up, and grasp the back of his head.
  131. "FACE, MEET WALL."
  132. >You crush Mahonie's face into the wall of his office, creating a small hole and leaving wood and paint chips hanging off his blood snout.
  133. >You throw him to the ground and begin to slowly crush his windpipe, as you whisper to him.
  134. "If you can still hear me, then pay attention. You're done. Finished. You're going to stay away from me. You're going to stay away from Ponyville."
  135. >You squeeze his neck harder.
  136. "But more importantly, you're going to stay away from Pinkamena Diane Pie."
  137. >He nods, wheezing and struggling for air."
  138. "If you're lying to me, Lt. Mahonie, I will kill you. Do you understand me? I will KILL you."
  139. >He nods faster, lightly pawing at your hands in a futile attempt to stop you from crushing his throat.
  140. "Good."
  141. >You release his throat, and he gasps loudly and hoarsely for air.
  142. >You grab his shoulders, and in one swift motion you headbutt him between his eyes, knocking him out.
  143. >You fling the door to Mahonie's office open, and meet the eyes of a dozen or so police ponies, all of them backing away from your bloody figure.
  144. "Word of advice. Stop trying to arrest me."
  145. >And with that, you leave for the club and Pinkie.
  146.
  147. -------
  148.
  149. >Twilight had tried to get answers as to what happened to you and Pinkie Pie, but Pinkie had silenced her with a whisper or two.
  150. >What the two of you went through would stay secret to you and Pinkie alone.
  151. >Twilight ended up teleporting all of you back to Ponyville, and you rested in bed with Pinkie curled up in your arms as the two of you drifted off to sleep.
  152. >For the entire night, she slept peacefully, no tears, nothing. Just her quiet breaths tickling your nose as she slumbered.
  153. >You couldn't sleep though, not really.
  154. >You eventually left the warmth of your bed and instead stood at the loft window, staring up at the moon.
  155. >You hadn't done that in a long, long time.
  156. >And soon enough, you found yourself singing an old, familiar song as you sat next to Pinkie, softly stroking her mane.
  157. >"Mmm.. Anon?..."
  158. "Mmhmm?"
  159. >"iss'it morning yet?..."
  160. "Nope."
  161. >"Oh... okay then.. *yawn* Can we play tomorrow?"
  162. >You give a soft chuckle.
  163. "Of course. Space pirates?"
  164. >"Doing pirate things in space. Yep."
  165. "Can I be the Dread Pirate Roberts?"
  166. >"Mmhmm.."
  167. >You lay down with Pinkie once more, and quickly drift off to sleep, finally at peace.
  168. >You wouldn't let what happened this night define you.
  169. >You loved Pinkie, and she loved you.
  170. >That's all you really needed, after all.
