>You look at the thousands of humans and ponies fighting each other and the worms

>"We need to make this sacrifice. For them."

>You consider it for a moment

>You decide

>Santa shouts, "Okay, everyone, we're in a ho ho whole lot of trouble, so we need to go to battlestations!"

>Rudolph nods at you

>You nod back and begin walking backwards

>He walks backwards too, looking at you until you both turn around

>You, the girls, Celestia, and Luna are on your world's side

>And Santa, Rudolph, the reindeer, and the elves on the other

>Celestia orders you all, "Everyone, attack on three."

>The ground shakes

>"One."

>You all take fighting positions

>The ground cracks

>"Two."

>You and Rudolph exchange a glance

>The Holeworm king bursts out of the ground

>That thing is hideous

>"Three!"

>And on that count of three, the Elements of Harmony were activated

>A rainbow starts to form around the king

>It screams in pain

>Santa sprinkles magic dust on the reindeer

>They all shoot out beams from their noses

>Rudolph's beam is bright red

>The elves are shooting magic bullets at it

>Celestia and Luna also help with their magic

>This causes all of the worms to retreat back between dimensions

>The king slowly inflates

>And with a kaboom, it explodes

>Its guts are spread out all over Canterlot and the North Pole

>Everyone's magic stops and you see Earth slowly fade away

>You have barely any strength left, so you can only mutter

I love you.

>Earth soon disappears from your sight forever

>You start to cry

>Twilight puts her arm around you

>"I'm sorry, Fluttershy."

I know you are, Twilight.

>You sniff

Let's just go home.

>The train ride home is quiet

>It's night and you can't sleep

>When you arrive at the train station, you all go your separate ways to your respective homes

>"Good night, Fluttershy."

Good night, Twilight.

>Later, walking to your cottage, you take a detour into the fields

>You look in the distance to the sight of fireflies making the shape of the left side of a heart

>You sigh and continue home

I guess I'm just meant to be lonely forever...

>Once home, you immediately go to bed and cry yourself to sleep

>It's late, and you're taking a walk

>It's snowing

>You reach an area with many lit up Christmas trees

>You hear giggling beyond the trees

>Peeking behind the trees, you see two reindeer slow dancing with one another

>A tear forms on your eye, and you let out an exasperated sigh

>Walking through some more trees, you see one decoration that catches your eye

>It's a heart

>Well, the right side of one, anyway

>You hold it up in your hoof

We'll be together again some day.

>Your tear falls on the heart

I just know it.
