  1. >You regain consciousness from a dreamless slumber.
  2. >The first thing that hits you is the pain.
  3. >You audibly hiss as every muscle in your body assaults your mind with agony.
  4. >Seems that two days of nothing but physical exertion is bad for you.
  5. >You try to curl up, but something is restricting your movement.
  6. >Opening your eyes, you see that your pony acquaintance is no longer your mattress.
  7. >It seems that an actual mattress rests below you.
  8. >But what lays above you is far more concerning.
  9. >A blanket with 3 belts wrapped around it pins you to your comfy trap.
  10. >The large, shiny buckles reflect the morning sun into your eyes.
  11. >If you were healthier, this may have caused you to panic.
  12. >Instead you lay your head back down, eyes searching the room for your captor.
  13. >A quick glance near you reveal several empty packages of dried fruit and empty water bottles.
  14. >There go your supplies.
  15. >This moment to yourself was the last thing you needed.
  16. >Because it gave you time to think.
  17. >Specifically about you.
  18. >Alone, tied up, throbbing with pain without food.
  19. >You're an utter mess.
  20. >The tears waste no time in flowing.
  21. >Your situation comes crashing down on you as you sob into your bedding.
  22. >While you need to survive, bawling like a baby is a guilty comfort of yours.
  23. >The warm salt water your only familiar friend.
  24. >After a few minutes of letting out your frustrations, you come to grips with your position.
  25. “Hello?”
  26. >Silence is your response.
  27. “Can anyone help me?”
  28. >The walls seemingly absorb your voice.
  29. >You turn your head to the closest open window in desperation.
  30. “Please, I need help!”
  31. >Nothing.
  32. >You go back to laying on the bed in peace, hoping that pony you helped comes back.
  33. >Either to help you on your feet or end your flame of existence.
  34. >Anything would be better than dying alone.
  35. >Even if it was an alien creature.
  36. >A beam of light hits your face as the clinic doors open.
  37. >You turn to see a figure outlined by the sun.
  38. >A human.
  39. >Female, judging by the slim figure and long, blonde hair trailing out of the hoodie.
  40. >Stunned by this turn of events, you forget to talk.
  41. >Her head turns frantically, until she targets your immobile figure.
  42. >She sprints over to you silently, taking care not to step on the mess on the floor.
  43. “Hey, I gck-”
  44. >Is all you managed before a knife is produced from her sleeve and is placed under your chin.
  45. >”Look kid, I'm running low on supplies, and your loud mouth tells me you don't need them.”
  46. >She grabs a hold on your hair to pull your head back.
  47. >The blunt side of the knife runs across your neck as she presses it into you.
  48. >”Tell me where they are, and I'll give you a swift death.”
  49. >She flips over her knife, bringing it close to your neck once again.
  50. >”Lie to me, and I'll watch you bleed out myself.”
  51. “F-f-f-food, in the bag, there.”
  52. >You motion your eyes towards your opened bag.
  53. >She looks behind her momentarily before releasing you to rummage through your supplies.
  54. >Or what's left of it.
  55. >As begins to tear through your bag, another figure appears in the doorway.
  56. >Your eyes dart to the figure before the thief lets out a frustrated cry.
  57. >”There's nothing in here you worthless shit!”
  58. >She stands up as she raises the knife over her head.
  59. >A maddening look twinkles in her eye.
  60. >”You're done!”
  61. >A fierce cyan envelops the intruder before the knife makes its decent.
  62. >Time almost slows down as your savior emerges from the doorway.
  63. >The pony you helped yesterday moves behind the intruder.
  64. >She looks much healthier than you remember.
  65. >Her tame pink mane flows down her back and her bangs just barely fall short of her eyes.
  66. >The white body is spotless; not a dot of crimson stains her coat.
  67. >The teal glow of her horn appears much more intimidating.
  68. >With a stern look of her azure eyes, she turns the woman to face her with a flick of her head.
  69. >”You do not hurt my friends, young lady.”
  70. >”Well why don't you go to he-”
  71. >Is all she managed to let out before a distinct zipper sound finished her sentence.
  72. >”I shall show you why you do not hurt my friends.”
  73. >In seconds, the aura that consumed the woman peels her clothing off like a candy bar.
  74. >Revealing the burglar's bare skin and several sheathed knives strapped to her body.
  75. >Another jerk of the pony's head disarms the person completely.
  76. >The encased weapons hit the floor with a thud as they escape the blue glow.
  77. >Completely naked, the mare lowers her victim to head level.
  78. >She glances over to you as you watch the events unfold before you.
  79. >”I'm sorry for this.”
  80. >Refocusing on the human encased in her magic, she opens her maw wide.
  81. >The pony clamps down on the girl, taking her entire head and torso into her mouth.
  82. >The cyan glow disappears  as the person begins to thrash around violently.
  83. >Incoherent muffled protests emanate from the pony's head as she refuses to let go.
  84. >A dreamy look on her face shows enjoyment from devouring her catch.
  85. >”Mmmm...”
  86. >Despite the kicking and fists bulging from her cheeks, the equine appears to be in pure bliss.
  87. >You see her tongue slither out and cup the gap between the girl's legs.
  88. >Seemingly savoring her flavor briefly, she uses her tongue to pull her prey deeper into her.
  89. >A series of sickening gulps cause the human-shaped bulge to move down the pony's throat.
  90. >Your heart hammers at this scene.
  91. >You always saw the end result of this
  92. >Ponies trotting around as the squirming outlines of a struggle is highlighted by the round belly.
  93. >But this is the first you've seen it in progress.
  94. >And it chills your very core.
  95. >The last of the woman's feet disappear between the pony's lips as she finishes swallowing her down.
  96. >More small lumps travel down her throat, journeying to her stomach.
  97. >The pony does not appear much larger, but the involuntary belly twitches reveal the live victim.
  98. >She exhales a sigh of relief with a dopey grin on her face.
  99. >As she looks to you, her expression changes to one of worry.
  100. >You feel absolutely panicked right now.
  101. >”Oh... oh, I'm really sorry you had to see that.”
  102. >The past few minutes have done nothing to ease your mind.
  103. >”I'm... hoping we can put that behind us.”
  104. >You were just assaulted, robbed and almost killed by your own kind.
  105. >”Please, it would be nice if we can get along.”
  106. >Though you were saved by a pony.
  107. >”May I ask your name?”
  108. >The embodiment of everything gone wrong in your world.
  109. >”My name is Nurse Soma.”
  110. >She holds out a hoof to you, but its far too much.
  111. >You begin to softly weep in confusion.
  112. >Nurse Soma brings herself closer to you, unbuckling the belts from you with a glow of her horn.
  113. >Concern etched in her face.
  114. >”Oh please, I'm so sorry.  I know this must be so trying on you. So-”
  115. >Pain be damned, the moment the belts unbuckled, you threw yourself onto the nurse.
  116. >You sobbed into her snowy coat as your arms wrapped around her.
  117. >Despite everything that has happened.
  118. >Her voice was ambrosia, her presence a blessing in this wasteland.
  119. >The only creature to have shown you any semblance of warmth.
  120. “Please... don't leave me...”
  121. >Your hands grip her back.
  122. “I hate being alone... don't leave me...”
  123. >She gives you a gentle smile as she leans her head on yours.
  124. >”Don't worry, you won't be alone anymore.  I'm here for you now.”
  125. >She gently rocks you back and forth as you settle down.
  126. >You feel the struggles in her belly slowly calm down.
  127. >Her stomach starts to make unseemly noises.
  128. >Nurse Soma seems to take note of these noises as she starts to hum a melody to soothe you.
  129. >You know what she's done.
  130. >But the crushing loneliness has been too much in the past days.
  131. >Her compassion has been a bright light in this world of darkness.
  132. >So you choose to trust her.
  133. “Anon.”
  134. >”Hmm?”
  135. “My name's Anon... nice to meet you Nurse Soma.”
  136. >You lift your head up to meet with Nurse Soma's large eyes.
  137. >Once filled with a predatory instinct, is now filled with compassion.
  138. >”It's nice to meet you too.”
  139. >She lifts you as she stands on her hind legs.
  140. >”You need your bed rest right now though, your body is in quite a bad state.”
  141. >Her words remind you of the searing pain in your muscles.
  142. >You squirm a little as she lowers you onto the mattress with her forehooves.
  143. >”I've cooked you some breakfast in the building across the street, I was about to deliver it to you when, well...”
  144. >You look to her with a calm demeanor.
  145. “I know, and while I'm not really hungry, it is better that I eat now.”
  146. >Her smile is beaming at this point.
  147. >”You're quite the understanding patient.  If you could sit yourself up, I could feed you.”
  148. >You shift a bit as you bend your body.
  149. >Sitting up, you lay your back against the wall next to the mattress.
  150. >Nurse Soma turns away from you to levitate a tray of food onto your lap.
  151. >Seems that she placed the food right outside the doorway before confronting the thief.
  152. >You look at the wonderful spread laid out in front of you.
  153. >Bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes with a smidgen of melted butter, toast with strawberry jam and a glass of orange juice.
  154. >You stare at her in amazement.
  155. “How do you know to make human food?  This looks amazing!”
  156. >She titters a bit at your comment.
  157. >”I was trained a bit in human culture before coming here.  We have to be both accommodating to ponies and humans alike.”
  158. >She levitates a fork and spoon in front of you, cutting a generous piece of bacon, egg and toast.
  159. >”Now, ahh...”
  160. >You open your mouth as she places the fork of food into your mouth.
  161. >Removing the food from the fork, she begins to cut another section of food for you.
  162. “Why do you have to learn about our culture?  It seems that we're... not exactly on good terms.”
  163. >She looks to you with a bit of worry.
  164. >”Well, we have to take an oath to preserve those who deserve life.  While it seems that we're just rampaging through the streets, we were informed of good-hearted humans.”
  165. >She looks up at the ceiling, as if searching for an answer.
  166. >”This clinic used to serve both ponies and humans, until a misunderstanding occurred, and well, you see what happened.”
  167. >Nurse Soma's stomach gurgles quietly as she serves you another piece of food.
  168. >She blushes a bit at this as her ears fold down.
  169. >”I'm so sorry if that disgusts you, its...”
  170. “It's no problem, really. You saved my life and you're helping me get better.  I can overlook that.”
  171. >She gives a weak and embarrassed grin as her ears perk up again.
  172. >”It's the least I can do to the human who saved me.”
  173. >Breakfast goes by without a hitch, as you lay back down on the makeshift bed.
  174. >You do your best to smile at the nurse as your body is still in terrible shape.
  175. >She levitates your covers to you and tucks you in tightly.
  176. >”Now, I have regained quite a bit of energy now, so I can help accelerate your healing.”
  177. >You look to her massive paunch, no larger than when you first met her.
  178. >”So, just drift into sleep and I'll do my magic, okay?”
  179. “Yes Nurse Soma.”
  180. >She giggles a bit at you.
  181. >”No need for formalities, we're  friends, right?”
  182. “Yeah, I guess you're right, thanks Soma.”
  183. >She gives you a motherly look.
  184. >”Now, off to dreamland with you.”
  185. >You obediently close your eyes as you do your best to calm your body.
  186. >A refreshing sensation washes over you as time feels irrelevant.
  187. >Warmth slowly spreads from your feet up.
  188. >This state of utter bliss sends you into a deep sleep.
