  1. Knight Anon gets sent to Equestria by an evil wizard and needs to find a way back.
  2.
  3. >Flames Lick at the steel on your back as you charge through the hallway.
  4. >Stopping at a large ornate door you draw your sword which glows in the dimly lit hall.
  5. >You bash against the great oak door with the pommel of your blade and scream through the door.
  6. “YOU CAN’T RUN FOREVER YMOUS! THIS IS YOUR END!”
  7. >You take a step back and deliver a solid kick against the door where you guess the lock to be.
  8. >The lock breaks and the wood splinters.
  9. >Another kick and the door flies open slamming into the wall.
  10. >You saw him run into this room, he can’t be far ahead.
  11. >You march into the room, You sheild held at the ready.
  12. >You aren’t falling for his tricks twice.
  13. >Your sword ready to swing, you feel your grip tighten.
  14. >Your eyes scan every inch of the unlit room.
  15. >The sound of your steel boots hitting stone and the roar of the flames outside in the hall fills the air.
  16. >You take another step and the floor below you creaks and groans under the weight of so much steel and flesh.
  17. >You kick away the carpet and see a trap-door.
  18. >Flinging open the door you step down into the passage.
  19. >You look behind you as your head reaches the height of the floor.
  20. >The hallway behind you is filled with smoke and fire.
  21. >There is no way you are getting back out that way.
  22. >The passage you now stand in is completely dark, but your sword shines brightly showing you the way.
  23. >You would never have made it as far as you did without these tools.
  24. >Your sword, which you called ‘Firefly’ Enchanted with the ability to shine.
  25. >Your sheild, enchanted to absorb harmful magical spells and attacks that strike your body.
  26. >And your armour, enchanted to be lighter and gift you with great strenght and stamina.
  27. >All these items where both treasures and curses, for each one was taken form your dead commrades on your journey to kill this man.
  28. >’Ymous.’
  29. >A man that lusts over power he could never dream to control, once a wise man, great some may have called him.
  30. >But no more.
  31. >You exit the passage way and stand in a grand hall now deep within the bowels of this estate, the walls are covered in sacred relics and tomes and marble pillers reach up to the roof.
  32. >And at the centre standing arrogantly is the man you have hunted for so long.
  33. >"Anon! It’s so~ good to see you."
  34. >He doesn’t even turn to speak to you but you can tell he said it with a wicked smile that was dripping with sarcasm.
  35. “Oh the pleasure is all mine Ymous.”
  36. >You keep your shield held tight and the sword ready to swing, you know at any second he is going to turn and let off a bunch of spells that’ll fuck you up if they hit you.
  37. >Your shield was good, but it was never THAT good and it still hurt like a bitch when the spells connected.
  38. >You look around at what you can use for cover as you and he both continue to talk.
  39. “It’s over Ymous, you’ve lost and now it’s time to answer for the crimes you have commited, the lives you have destroyed and the souls you have taken.”
  40. >"Ha ha ha, Those souls are free now Anon, and they will serve a far greater purpose than you can ever dream."
  41. “And what of the families that they belonged to Ymous! All the mothers you left without sons and daughters, the wives and husbands that will never see their loved again and all the children that will grow up without Parents.”
  42. >You did strike a nerve there, he turns to face you.
  43. >"All necessary…"
  44. “And all in vain, not one more will die because of you. Not. One. More.”
  45. >You begin walking forward. one good strike should cut him down.
  46. >"Oh no Anon…"
  47. >Ymous raises his arm.
  48. >"…There will be one more…"
  49. >You break into a sprint as magic begins to draw into his hand, a powerful spell gathering power.
  50. >"… AND THAT ONE …"
  51. >You are too far, you can’t make it.
  52. >"… W I L L – B E – Y O U ! "
  53. >A thundous crack is heard as Ymous slams the spell into the ground, the stone floor tears away from it’self in the spells wake, fire erupting from the ground in great fearsome pillers that smash into the roof.
  54. >You roll to the side and crash into a marble piller while the flames lick around you and lightly singe the less armoured part of your body.
  55. >After an age the flames die back down and you look around the now blackend marble and spot Ymous looking quite tired.
  56. >He’s down on his knees and gasping for air.
  57. >That would have been certain death if you stood in it’s way, and it took a lot out of him to cast it.
  58. >Now was your chance.
  59. >You dart out from around the piller and begin running again, Ymous sees you and manages to stand up.
  60. >There is fear in his eyes as you charge forward.
  61. >You smile.
  62. >He has met his better, and because of his fetish for destruction his clumsy but devesating spell will be his undoing.
  63. >You are so close, you ready your sword raising it high into the air.
  64. >Ymous throws feeble spells to stop you, it’s all he can manage after that titanic fireball
  65. >You grunt as each one hits you but it doesn’t slow you down.
  66. >It will end here, the best outcome for Ymous is to pray he takes you with him.
  67. >You let out a primal scream, and the world seems to slow.
  68. >The faces of all those who fought beside you flash before you.
  69. >Ymous’s face fills with panic as he readies one last spell.
  70. >It’s White flowing with green energy.
  71. >You’ve seen this before…
  72. >A teleportation spell.
  73. >With one chance to end this nightmare you bring your sword down into his flesh and feel it connect as the spell casts, a white nothiness fills your vision.
  74. >You hear a yell of angish as you pull your blade free of his meat, you cut deeply but no idea where on his body
  75. >Magic flows through you.
  76. >Blinded by the spell’s white brilliance you feel the world melt away.
  77. >A thousand questions race through your mind as you are wrapped by magic and are sent off into the magical abyss.
  78. >Did you kill Ymous?
  79. >Was the wound deep enough to be fatal?
  80. >Why are You being teleported if he was casting the spell?
  81. >And did he escape?
  82. >You do the only thing you can.
  83. >Close your eyes and let the spell finish.
  84. >For a while your sheild arm aches, you feel the magic around you get absorbed into the sheild.
  85. >Then the magic around you fades.
  86. >And not long after you feel the ground beneath your feet.
  87. >You open your eyes.
  88. >It’s not the stone floor you where standing on before but soft and lush grass.
  89. >The sound of birdsongs echo throughout the trees.
  90. >Confused and physical drained you swing wildly with your sword.
  91. >You yell his name over and over.
  92. “YMOUS! Y~MOUS!”
  93. >You fall to one knee digging the sword into the soft earth.
  94. “W-where are yo-you Ymous, SHOW YOURSELF!”
  95. >Leaning back while swinging your shield you lose your balance and slam your back into ground with a thud.
  96. “Ymous…”
  97. >You let go of your sword and sheild and lie there in the grass.
  98. >You beg your eyes to stay open but they fall despite your pleading.
  99. >You can’t remember the last time you slept, you’ve chased Ymous for so long that days blurred into nights. >You’ve watched just as many sunrises as sunsets as you ran through forests after this man.
  100. >Ymous’s death, was your life. Everything else was second.
  101. >But with such a struggle behind you, you finally embrace the bliss of sleep.
  102. >So deep in magic undused sleep you couldn’t notice the three creatures that heard your yelling and followed it.
  103. >Cresting the hill they see you and talk amongst themselves as they carefully aproch you.
  104. >"…"
  105. >"——it.."
  106. >"——IS THAT?"
  107. >"Don’t go near it! --…"
  108. >"Seems to be a huge Insect, that hard shell looks like an exo-skeleton."
  109. >"X-O what?"
  110. >"Nevermind Applejack, Fluttershy could you see if it’s ok?"
  111. >Fluttershy nods and walks up to your sleeping form.
  112. >"Well?" Applejack asks.
  113. >"I’m no expert with Insects but it looks injured and burnt."
  114. >"Well we can’t just leave it here, I’ve never seen such a creature… Applejack could you go get one of your large carts, if you don’t mind we’ll take it back to Fluttershy’s and then we’ll see about fixing it up…"
