  1. "Hey... What are you doing? That isn't a recognised testing protocol!"
  2. >The mare keeps stroking her hoof thing over your central casing, how can you even feel that? You're only programmed to feel pain.
  3. >"I... thought I could add a few extra protocols to your suite." What's she doing with her tongue?!
  4. >You swing to one side but she uses that crazy magic stuff to keep you in check.
  5. >If only she'd stop touching you...
  6. "Look, if you just stop now I won't pump you full of neurotoxins."
  7. >"Oh yes!" You're not too fond of the way she's said that. "I'd let you pump me full of whatever you wanted! Oooh, maybe a long chain hydrocarbon? Or an inert gas! Oh, we could get so much scientific research done!"
  8. "Okay, I think I'd really prefer-" Did she say scientific research? As in SCIENCE?
  9. >"Mmm?" And now she's right in front of your ocular circuitry. "Oh tell me what you'd prefer."
  10. "I... would prefer to carry out some experiments of my own on you." Oh. This must be that pleasure the humans always talked about.
  11.
  12. >Ah, she's finally released her grip on you. Now maybe you can get your curiosity core to stop asking what that was.
  13. >If only you had some prehensile pneumatics.
  14. >"So what experiments are we going to carry out?" The way she keeps staring into your ocular circuits... Do organics pick up the subtle play of spectra beyond the visible? Her eyes do look rather... agreeable.
  15. "You ponies have some interesting anatomy. Cellular tensile strength would be a good starting point. Yes. These new protocols you added will come in handy for that."
  16. >The mare squees loudly, clapping her hooves together and leaning in almost uncomfortably close.
  17. >"You'd be surprised how much you can stretch us!"
  18. >Prehensile parts you may not have but you do have some machinery locked away in the base of your support platform that should serve the same purpose.
  19. "Please stand in the centre of the test platform."
  20. >She looks confused momentarily, squinting at you before nodding and moving out into the centre of the support platform.
  21. >"Here?"
  22. "Please remain calm as we begin the test scenario."
  23. >You can feel it, the first hums of the machinery sparking into life. You can feel everything more keenly than before now.
  24. >Even the opening of the platform (oh how your actuators would be shaking in anticipation... if you had any) sends tiny pulses of pleasure through your neural circuitry.
  25. >And that helpless little pony... so soft... so gentle...
  26. >Not like that brutish human. At least Twilight knows how to... give you what you need.
  27.
  28. >She's so willing. So capable of carrying out your exact testing requirements...
  29. >"GLADoS... A-Are you okay?"
  30. >Oh, how her voice is so perfectly harmonic. You'll have lots of fun testing out that later!
  31. "Your file states you're not an orphan. Your parents must love you very much. Every pony must love you."
  32. >"Oh!" Rush of blood to the cheeks, dilation of the pupils, flattening of the ears... Okay, either your coolant is running low or this mare is doing very strange things to your internals. "I-I guess my friends like me..."
  33. >The cannon emerges from the centre of the platform, Twilight looking at it with some confusion.
  34. "This is a party cannon to distribute pleasant things for test subjects' parties."
  35. >She slips a hoof over the rounded barrel, looking into the opening.
  36. >Thankfully, the modifications Pinkie Pie made to it ensure she'll come to no harm.
  37. >Unless she doesn't like chocolate frosting. You'll have to update your testing parameters.
  38. >"So... how is this gonna help you test cellular tensile strength?"
  39. >Oh Twilight, so eager to get to the bottom of every mystery. Her dedication to science is... arousing? Is that the word humans use for this feeling?
  40. >Perhaps Twilight knows.
  41.
  42. >"Hey, this thing is shaped kinda like a pony's-"
  43. "Twilight,  we must suspend this test to conduct preliminary research."
  44. >The mare hops from the platform back to the stairway leading to your chassis.
  45. >And there she goes pressing her hoof against your central casing. It's not quite as unpleasant this time.
  46. >In fact you might say it's enjoyable, if joy were something you're able to feel outside of testing scenarios.
  47. "If our tests are to be fully accurate I'm going to need additional data on attraction."
  48. >She sits down, curling her tail about herself. Funny how easily she's able to control it, maybe she can give you a close up on your ocular circuits.
  49. >"Well, it's really simple. In most cases attraction is physical but compatible personalities are also highly important." Oh yes, Twilight, that dry exposition is more than enough to set your neural circuitry to firing off all at once! "In fact, it's possible for wholly different species to overcome their differences if the attraction to certain personality traits is strong enough."
  50. >Searching through your infobanks you collate the data... It makes sense. That was probably why the human kept chasing after you. She was jealous of your superior research skills.
  51. "Have there been any documented cases of ponies being attracted to non-organics?"
  52. >Why is she scuffing her hoof against the grating and looking down from you?
  53. >And what is this strange urge to reach out with your non-existent prehensile pneumatics?
  54.
  55. "Um..." She looks back up, still scuffing her hoof but thankfully she's smiling. Yes, it wouldn't do for your test subject to be upset. "Just one, actually."
  56. >Your actuators creak loudly as you angle your central casing towards her, let her get a better look at your ocular circuitry.
  57. "I require all data you possess on the subject. It would... help with a hypothesis I am forming."
  58. >And there goes her hoof, touching your central core... Now your CPUs are taken up analyzing how gentle her touch is.
  59. >"Actually, I'm still testing the data I've gathered on the subject. I'm... getting close to forming a conclusion, though."
  60. >Well, perhaps these tests will offer some insight.
  61. >Twilight's as eager to get back to work as you are, though, resuming her spot on the platform next the cannon.
  62. >"So... what am I meant to do?"
  63. >You twist about, examining the angle... yes, this is acceptable.
  64. "Please lower yourself slightly, this equipment has a limited height."
  65. >She nods, kneeling down.
  66. >Hmm... as long as you only rely on the barrel it should be okay. The rest is cone-shaped, the perfect method for testing.
  67. "You may feel a slight pressure, please remain calm."
  68. >The motors within the cannon whir to life, thrusting the barrel forward against the mare's body.
  69. >Yes, you can feel the heat of it now. The databanks contain some useful data on this, should make the oil unnecessary.
  70. >"GLADoS!" Pupils are constricted, breathing heightened, muscles tensed... Is this fear? "I-It's okay, just tell me when you're going to do that."
  71.
  72. "Our tests cannot be halted, Twilight, this data must be gathered."
  73. >She shudders, moving from hoof to hoof. Looks like anxiousness.
  74. >"Oh GLADoS... You can conduct whatever tests you want on me." Is she... pushing back against the barrel? And where has your coolant gone! "I... I just want to help you... expand your... scientific knowledge..."
  75. >Aha! You knew you had Applejack and Rarity work on those extra actuators for a reason! It's just a quick turn and extension until your chassis - and more importantly ocular circuits - are down by her side.
  76. "And you are a very capable research subject." You shift your core around to her rear. "But I must observe this carefully if I'm to extract useful data."
  77. >She's shivering again, tail flicking to one side.
  78. >"I'll happily give you all the... data you need."
  79. >Perhaps you can ask later why extending the barrel further against her sends your neural circuitry firing again.
  80. >Just a little more... there! The barrel is inside her at last!
  81. >Now, you can get to recording this data. the way the body opens to accommodate the barrel shows there's a great deal of elasticity to it, at least to this part.
  82. >You'll have to push on to see how far this can go, though.
  83.
  84. >There seems, at least, to be quite the depth here. There's already most of the barrel in. Though Twilight rocking about isn't making this any easier.
  85. "Twilight, you must remain still if the data is going to be accurate." She doesn't seem to be listening, head facing forward firmly. "You're just going to make the test last longer if you keep this up."
  86. >Her legs almost begin knocking. Must be a response to your inquiries, so obviously she can hear you.
  87. >Maybe she's concentrating on fulfilling the test criteria. You can feel her interior clenching down on the barrel, harder the further you push it in.
  88. >"GLADoS, wait! Wait! That's... that's too much!" She's out of breath... why is that? No matter, you've tested her depth. Data has been logged and entered into the database.
  89. >You pull the barrel back but she clenches down again. Strange, and she just said it was too much.
  90. >Oh well, at least now you can get to testing what the maximum elasticity is.
  91. >With the barrel mostly withdrawn, you hold that in place while pushing the body of the cannon forward.
  92. >It slowly begins to distend the opening. Twilight's making a series of soft squeaks and other noises above.
  93. "Twilight, please repeat those sounds, I just remembered to turn on audio recording."
  94. >Ah, there she goes again.
  95. >And now it's getting easier to get push the cannon forward. Perhaps you'll have to test this organic lubricant later.
  96.
  97. >If only Pinkie hadn't repainted your cannon pink it'd be easier to pick out against the outline of Twilight's body.
  98. >At least she's remaining cooperative. But then why wouldn't she? She understands the benefits of proper scientific research.
  99. >She... understands you.
  100. >"G-GLADoS..." Have you pushed it too far again? Most of the cannon is inside her.
  101. "It's alright Twilight, I've collected sufficient data on your elasticity-"
  102. >"No!" Maybe if she stopped panting she wouldn't have such trouble speaking... "No, there's... more data to collect! Like... like how quickly the cellular walls react to pressure being applied!"
  103. >This pony... how is it that her dedication to science knows no bounds?
  104. "Agreed. I'll begin by putting the actuators at fifteen percent power output."
  105. >Good thing Applejack had been so thorough in oiling your joints. In fact, every pony you'd met had been very facilitating. Perhaps there's something in their culture that reinforces it... Twilight would surely know the answer.
  106. >But for now you've got the cannon moving back and forth, your ocular circuits trained firmly on her body.
  107. >As expected, the pink mass reacts readily to the cannon entering and exiting.
  108. "Shifting to one quarter maximum power."
  109. >Another of those little cries from Twilight. Your databanks are throwing up some interesting data relating to them.
  110. >Ah, if only you had some mechanized arms you could hold her legs steady.
  111. >Alright, you're obviously going to have to push this further if you want to test the limits of her body.
  112.
  113. "Shifting to fifty percent maximum power."
  114. >And there she goes again! Clenching down on the cannon whenever it pulls out of her. Your actuators are more powerful than that, though.
  115. >"GLADoS... I... I can't..."
  116. >And still her body responds immediately to the changing pressure. You've obviously underestimated these ponies.
  117. >But she's feeling it. The pressure's getting to her. Well, you've learned before that letting a test subject lose motivation is a bad thing.
  118. >Your actuators hum softly as your chassis swings about to her front again.
  119. "Twilight, you cannot give up now." She's shaking her head; good, you've gotten through. "This is for science. Think of the breakthrough we can make here."
  120. >"B-Breakthrough?"
  121. >You swing your ocular circuitry in close to her, picking out the strain on her facial muscles.
  122. "Something is happening back there. Your muscles are contracting at a faster rate each three point three seconds. What is that?"
