1. Part 2
2.
3. ~
4.
5. The morning is your favorite part of the day. It‘s refreshing, really. You look forward to all that you can accomplish with…. Well this actually doesn’t apply to 3 in the morning.
6.
7. You had escorted the crying Rainbow Dash to your bedroom. You brewed some coffee for her, and made her some toast. She ate and drank, but the sadness was still there. She continuously sniffled while she drank her coffee. You felt like she was going to break down at any moment.
8.
9. You sit next to Rainbow Dash and rub her back gently. Her cries subsided, but her eyes were still bloodshot. You felt like she wanted to keep crying. A billion thoughts were running through your head. You were worried, scared, angry. You had no idea what could have happened to Rainbow. But you wanted to help her,  that you knew for sure.
10.
11. It must have taken a lot to make her cry like this. To be perfectly honest, you didn’t even know she COULD cry. The sight of this Rainbow makes you fear that she really isn’t as tough as she makes herself seem.
12.
13. No. That’s pushing it. Someone wronged her to the point where it broker her heart, that’s what it must be.
14.
15. Or maybe… she’s conflicted with some choice? Perhaps she hurt herself doing some awesome trick?
16.
17. What do, Anon?
18.
19. >A) Keep quiet, let her talk when she is ready.
20. >B) Try to comfort her more.
21. >C) Comfort her, but ask some questions, too.
22. >D) Lay down and try to sleep, it’s getting late.
23.
24.
25. CHOICE C
26.
27. You give Rainbow a bit more attention. You proceed to pull her closer, letting her lay her head in your chest. She does it almost instinctively, and you feel her nuzzle your chest. You put both your arms around her. She lets out a deep breath. You were relaxing her. You feel her wrap her fore hooves around your midriff. You shut your eyes and enjoy the moment. Taking care of her in her time of need was what you needed to do.
28.
29. But you also needed to know what was wrong. You didn’t want to push it too much. Some preliminary questions should be ok.
30.
31. “Rainbow Dash, what happened?” You ask, while gently stroking her mane. She gave another deep breath.
32.
33. “I… I had a fight… with m-my friends.” she replied in a soft tone. She began to sniffle again, but she wasn’t crying…. Yet….
34.
35. What do?
36.
37. >A) Ask another question.
38. >B) Leave it at that.
39.
40.
41.
42.
43. CHOICE B
44.
45. It would be in your best interest to leave it at that. You don’t want Rainbow to have to relive it if it was truly that bad.
46.
47. “I’m sorry to hear that Rainbow Dash….” you say, still holding her tightly. You hear her sniffle some more.
48.
49. After a few minutes of silence, Rainbow Dash lets out another deep breath. It made your heart jump a bit.
50.
51. “I didn’t know that Twilight could be so mean….” she says quietly. “But she was… so mean to me….” Rainbow Dash buries her head into your chest again, still sniffling, but not crying. Who is this Twilight character? What could she have possibly done?
52.
53. What do?
54.
55. >A) Inquire.
56. >B) Comfort.
57. >C) Leave it at that.
58.
59.
60. CHOICE A
61.
62. You push Rainbow away slightly so that you could see her face. Her eyes looked a tad better, but she was still in deep grief. You lay her fore hooves on your lap and you place your hands on them.
63.
64. “Who is Twilight?” you ask. “What did she do to you?”
65.
66. Rainbow Dash doesn’t answer immediately. Her eyes shift away from yours. She is still ashamed to say. You give her some time. Some time to recollect her thoughts.
67.
68. She takes a deep breath.
69.
70. “Twilight Sparkle.” She starts. “She is one of my best friends. She was the one I had plans with earlier. I went over to her library…” She stopped for a bit and took another deep breath. You sit there anxiously awaiting what she has to say. “I went to her library to have dinner and talk about… you….”
71.
72. “Me? Really?” you ask, dumbfounded.
73.
74. “Yeah, Anon…” she replies. “I’ve been telling Twilight about you since I met you. I’ve been trying to convince her that you weren’t a… a… uh.. A danger to our town.” Rainbow fiddles with your hands.
75.
76. Twilight Sparkle… that wasn’t who… no it can’t be…..
77.
78. What do?
79.
80. >A) Press on.
81. >B) Leave it at that.
82.
83.
84. CHOICE A
85.
86. “Why would she need convincing that I’m not a danger?” You ask. Rainbow Dash still is looking away from you.
87.
88. “Well…” she starts. “None of us had ever seen a human before… According to her, there is absolutely nothing on your kind. No books, no scrolls. No history. She wrote to our Princess in fear that you may be a threat.” Rainbow Dash looked up into your eyes. Her lovely cerise irises were a refreshing sight. “I went and saw the Princess immediately and begged her not to take any immediate action against you. I told her that I had met you and that you were in no way a threat.”
89.
90. That was unexpected. Rainbow Dash did really care about your life. Enough to defend you against the head honcho of this crazy pony-filled world even. You rub her fore hooves a bit more.
91.
92. “Is there more?” You ask. She nods her head.
93.
94. “The Princess told me that I would have to report everything about you to Twilight. Who, in turn, would report to her.” She rubs her eyes. “It’s been hard, Anon. Convincing Twilight? She wanted to meet you and see for herself that you really were as great as I said…”
95.
96. You fear that you may have fucked up, Anon.
97.
98. “T-twilight Sparkle…” You say. “is she a unicorn?” Rainbow nods. “And… is her coat… purple?” Rainbow nods again, this time pushing herself away from you a bit.
99.
100. “How do you know that, Anon?” She asks, her eyes studying you carefully.
101.
102. What say?
103.
104. >A) Lie. Say it was a lucky guess.
105. >B) Claim that you overheard other ponies talking about her.
106. >C) Tell her the truth. You yelled at Twilight and her pink friend yesterday.
107.
108.
109. CHOICE C
110.
111. You had to tell her the truth. Lying never helps.
112.
113. “I… saw two ponies yesterday while we were napping.” You begin. “I saw them laughing at us and saying things to each other. I assumed they were saying hurtful things about you and I.” Rainbow’s face becomes a bit more strained. “I headed over and… well I overreacted. I yelled at them. I was angry at the fact that they may have been teasing you for no good reason.” At this point, Rainbow has pushed herself away from you.
114.
115. “A-anon… please tell me you are kidding…” she says. You can hear anger in her tone.
116.
117. “I was wrong for doing it, Rainbow. But… I just didn’t think properly.” You look down in shame. “I was tired of being made fun of. I was tired of others talking behind my back. And worst of all, the thought of others picking on you makes me so angry!”
118.
119. Rainbow Dash gets up from the bed and rubs her face with her hooves.
120.
121. “When I went to Twilight’s…” she says. “The first thing she said was that she was going to have you sent away. I asked her why, and she tells me what you told me. I said. ‘No, not my Anon. He wouldn’t do that to you!’ Looks like I was wrong, huh!?” She is glaring at you know. “So she spent the next couple of hours yelling at me and fighting with me, telling me I was dumb to have ever trusted a monster, that I was dumb to even CONSIDER defending him.
122.
123. “I was really hoping that she was lying, Anon.” she says bluntly. “I really was. It’s too late now. She still wants to write to the Princess and get you banished. She wasn’t… she wasn’t listening to me when I said not to…” You could tell she was holding back tears. “I don’t know w-what to do, Anon…”
124.
125. Fuck.
126.
127. What do?
128.
129. >Free Response
130.
131.
For those that are unfamiliar with this, I pick a few good free responses from my fellow anons and combine them as a choice. No, I will not pick stupid ones, so don‘t waste your time.
132.
133.
134.
135. “Rainbow, you know I would never want to intentionally hurt any…pony…” you say. “I was just so tired of the mocking and teasing… it just sent me over the edge. I don’t want to leave here… or you…” Rainbow’s demeanor relaxes a bit. She looks at you waiting for more. “I’ll do whatever it takes to prove that to you. What if… what if I apologized to Twlight?”
136.
137. Rainbow Dash returns to the bed. She looks at you with stern eyes.
138.
139. “I don’t know if that will work, Anon.” She says. “It’s worth a try, but you’re going to have to apologize a lot. Twilight is very… peculiar about who she trusts. And it’s clear that she doesn’t trust me anymore.” Rainbow looks saddened at this.
140.
141. “Then let’s go there now!” You say. Rainbow punches you.
142.
143. “You dummy, it’s 4 in the morning.” She says in a condescending tone. Well, she was right.
144.
145. What do?
146.
147. >A) Gently insist on seeing Twilight now.
148. >B) Rainbow is right, we should sleep on it.
149. >C) We’re seeing Twilight, whether you like it or not.
150.
151.
152. CHOICE B
153.
154. “You’re absolutely right, Rainbow.” You say. “Let’s sleep on it then. First thing in the morning, we’ll see Twilight. I’ll fix everything. Ok?”
155.
156. “I sure hope so, Anon. Promise me you’ll make it right.” You nod and put your fist out.
157.
158. “I promise, Rainbow Dash.” You say. Rainbow Dash stares at your fist. She doesn’t bump it.
159.
160. Instead, she wraps her hooves around your waist. Tightly.
161.
162. “You know,” Rainbow says. “I don’t know what I would do if I had to pick between you and my friends.”
163.
164. You sit there and take the hug from Rainbow. You aren’t even sure if you should hug her back, push her away, say anything. You are unsure of a lot of things. What if you are banished from here?
165.
166. What if you never see Rainbow Dash again?
167.
168. No.
169.
170. Don’t think like that. This is why you had to make things right. For Rainbow’s sake. You would do anything for…
171.
172. SNORE.
173.
174.
175.
176. …Rainbow is asleep….
177.
178. What do?
179.
180. >A) Put her in your bed.
181. >B) Carry her to the couch.
182.
183.
184. CHOICE A
185.
186. You pull the comforter back and lay Rainbow underneath. The poor mare. She went through far too much tonight. You’ll make it up to her soon.
187.
188. She starts to snore heavily. A good sign that she is nice and cozy. You can’t help but think she looks cute.
189.
190. Hmm.
191.
192. You glance over at the clock.
193.
194. 4:34am.
195.
196. You actually aren’t tired anymore.
197.
198. What do?
199.
200. >A) Sleep, you need it Anon.
201. >B) Watch over Rainbow for a bit.
202. >C) Find the library.
203. >D) Explore Ponyville.
204.
205.
206. CHOICE C
207.
208. It couldn’t hurt to go see Twilight now. Rainbow’s asleep an cozy, you’re ready and willing to make everything right.
209.
210. You tuck Rainbow in, being sure to make sure she has enough blankets.
211.
212. You throw on a shirt and your sweater.
213.
214. You head out of the apartment quietly, being sure to lock the door behind you. The wind is cold and harsh, quite unlike yesterday. Your face hurt from the cold, but no matter. You had to find the library.
215.
216. …What does a library look like here anyways…?
217.
218. You walk briskly up the path toward town, being sure to keep silent and hidden. No need for anyone to find you sneaking around. You didn’t know how unfamiliar you were with this town until you were lost in the middle of it. The air was getting colder by the second it seemed. You arrive at what seems to be the center of town. You sit by the fountain in the middle and take a break.
219.
220. What do?
221.
222. >A) Continue searching for the library.
223. >B) Head back, it’s not worth it.
224.
225.
226.
227. CHOICE B
228.
229. Maybe it’s time to bail. You can do this tomorrow with Rainbow by your side. You get up from the fountain, but you almost fall over. Your head is feeling very light.
230.
231. “Ugh…” you grunt. You should have slept for a bit, gotten your energy back. You walk slowly toward where you came from… you think… you can’t really see anything.
232.
233. You press forward, but air is getting unbearable. Your breathing is becoming heavier and heavier. Your throat feels like it’s being constricted by a snake. You can barely see anything in front of you.
234.
235. “What… is going on?” you say…. This wasn’t normal. Something is happening.
236.
237. You fall to ground slowly, clenching your throat. You start to cough, you feel like you are drowning!
238.
239. You hear footsteps all around you, like you’re being surrounded. A faint purple aura forces your eyes shut.
240.
241. Suddenly the footsteps get louder and louder….
242.
243. Whatever is doing this is right in front of you! You fall all the way to the ground, still clenching your throat.
244.
245. “Why are you out here, Anon?” you hear someone ask calmly.
246.
247. What do?
248.
249. >A) Try to fight; swing wildly.
250. >B) Attempt to respond.
251. >C) Give up, the pain is too much.
252.
253.
254. CHOICE B
255.
256. You struggle to make a sound, to give up a signal of peace.
257.
258. “P-please… please, I was looking for some…” Your throat gets tighter.
259.
260. “Looking for who?” The voice asks again.
261.
262. “Ugh… ugh… T-twilight… Sp-sparkle….” You spit out. The clenching of your throat remains. You feel like simply dying, this is worse than any kind of torture. You hear the… thing… get closer to you. The air is getting colder and thinner still. You open your eyes slowly, the ground around you is frozen. You see that the ice is surrounding your body now.
263.
264. “And what did you want with Twilight Sparkle?” the voice asks.
265.
266. What say?
267.
268. >Free Response
269.
270.
271. “I… I wanted to a-apolog-gize…” you manage to say. “…t-to Twilight for…”
272.
273. Suddenly, you find that you can breathe again. The air returns to a slight chill. Your throat is open.
274.
275. Everything feels better!
276.
277. You open your eyes wide and look up to see Twilight Sparkle… knocked far backwards… and Rainbow Dash at your side.
278.
279. “R-rainbow!” you say, not used to an open throat. She stands at your side, ready to defend you again. She is glaring at Twilight.
280.
281. “What do you think you’re doing, Twilight!?” Rainbow shouts. Twilight gets up and glares at you.
282.
283. “This monster was coming into town to find me. I had to protect myself and the town.” She says, her voice full of spite.
284.
285. “Rainbow, it’s not true!” You say. “I was coming to apologize to her!” You look up and see Twilight’s eyes ignite with purple fire. Rainbow stays at your side ready to protect you.
286.
287. “Twilight…” Rainbow says. “What is wrong with you!? You’re not acting the same.”
288.
289. Twilight doesn’t respond. Instead she continues to glare at you.
290.
291. What do?
292.
293. >A) Stop! We need to calm down and figure this out.
294. >B) Fight. I think….
295. >C) Bail!
296.
297.
298. CHOICE A
299.
300. You get up from ground. The ice around you has started to melt away.
301.
302. “Twilight…” You say. “Wait a minute, ok? We don’t need to fight. Ok? I’m sorry, I’m absolutely sorry for yelling at you and your friend yesterday.” Twilight still looks like she will take you down at any second. Rainbow Dash stands closer to you.
303.
304. “Twi… what is wrong with you?” Rainbow asks desperately. “You aren’t acting like yourself!”
305.
306. Twilight looks at Rainbow angrily.
307.
308. “You abandon us, to be with him! You knew this would happen. If I don’t stop him, then the Elements will slowly fade away!”
309.
310. You don’t know what any of this means. Elements? Stopping you? What does this…?
311.
312. “We can work this out, Twilight!” Rainbow exclaims. “Just give him a chance!”
313.
314. Twilight’s eyes slowly return to normal. She looks at you angrily, still examining you carefully. You stand your ground, but you still want this to be resolved. Twilight walks toward you. Her eyes still retain a bit of their flame. Like she doesn’t want to trust you.
315.
316. What say?
317.
318. >Free Response
319.
320.
321.
322. “Twilight… I’m truly sorry.” You say. “Please believe. Don’t take any of this out on Rainbow.”
323.
324. Rainbow Dash gets closer to you. She is emanating a warmth you haven’t felt before. Twilight glares at you more. Her eyes look as if they will ignite at any second.
325.
326. “Anon…” Twilight says. “I’m sorry, but you can not stay here anymore. I have already told the Princess of what you are doing to Rainbow Dash. She has ordered me to send you away.”
327.
328. “NO!” Rainbow yells. She charges full speed at Twilight. Knocking her backwards into a street lamp. “You can’t… you can’t send him away!”
329.
330. Twilight gets up quickly and blasts a spell at you. You manage to dodge it.
331.
332. “Stop!” You shout to Twilight. This is getting far out of hand. You notice Twilight’s coat… lose it’s color? It was a subtle shift, but her coat definitely wasn’t as bright as it was. Her eyes become more fiery. You walk up to her slowly, with your hands up. “I’m your friend Twilight. I mean you absolutely no harm.” You step up next to her. She steps backwards.
333.
334. “I… I… ARGH!” She swipes a hoof at you and hits you square in the face. You fall backwards. The force that hit you was otherworldly. There was no way she was that powerful! You shake it off and get up. You notice her horn was glowing. She must have made her punch much stronger.
335.
336. Rainbow Dash charges at Twilight again. Twilight hits her with a much stronger spell. Rainbow is flung backwards, completely frozen.
337.
338. What do?
339.
340. >A) Fight.
341. >B) Run.
342. >C) Give up.
343. >D) Defend.
344.
345.
346. CHOICE D
347.
348. You run over to Rainbow. Her body is stiff, but she is ok. She won’t be able to do anything else. You stand next to her side, ready to defend her with your life.
349.
350. “Twilight, just stop this! Rainbow has done nothing wrong!” You yell.
351.
352. “You’re right! You’re the one who has done everything wrong!” She yells back, her eyes full of furious flames. “The more you do for her, the less she cares about us! You are… you are just so…!” She sends a blast of magic your way. You put your arms up, protecting Rainbow. The magic hits you hard, but you are remain standing. You look over and see the spell wear off of Rainbow.
353.
354. “What…!?” Twilight yells. She sends another blast of magic your way. You put your arms up and the spell is deflected again.
355.
356. “What is going on?” You think to yourself.
357.
358. What do?
359.
360. >A) Continue to defend.
361. >B) Grab Rainbow and run.
362. >C) Attack Twilight.
363.
364.
365. CHOICE A
366.
367. Her magic is becoming weaker somehow. Twilight continues to barrage you with magic, yet you block each one. Rainbow Dash slowly returns to normal as you continue to defend her.
368.
369. “Ugh… A-anon?” You hear Rainbow say.
370.
371. Twilight stops the barrage of spells. She is breathing heavy, her magic aura fading. Rainbow Dash gets up and stands next to you.
372.
373. “Twilight?” You ask gently. “Are you… are you ok?” She stalls for a second and falls slightly.
374.
375. Suddenly, she gets up and charges a final spell. You stands strong, ready to defend against her.
376.
377. “I’m sorry, Twi…” You hear Rainbow say. She darts at Twilight at full speed, crashing into her before she can release the final spell. Rainbow’s hit sends Twilight flying far backwards. You stand there in awe as Rainbow dealt the final blow to Twilight.
378.
379. You run over to see what Rainbow had done. Twilight’s coat returned to normal. Her aura faded, and she was breathing slowly.
380.
381. “Rainbow… what did…” you say. You can’t even form a proper thought right now. Rainbow Dash is breathing heavily, but she is ok.
382.
383. “What do we do now?” You ask Rainbow. “This can’t be good for either of us.” Rainbow just stands there looking at Twilight.
384.
385. “We… we need to hide for a bit, Anon.” she says calmly. “We need to figure out what do about this.”
386.
387. What do?
388.
389. >A) Try to wake Twilight up.
390. >B) Suggest hiding at your place.
391. >C) Suggest hiding elsewhere.
392.
393. CHOICE C
394.
395. “We should hide somewhere where safety is guaranteed.” You say. “At least until we can figure out what is going on.” Rainbow Dash nods.
396.
397. “Maybe we should stay with another of my friends…” she suggests. “Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, or… well… probably not Pinkie Pie…”
398.
399. What say?
400.
401. >A) Choose a pony [free select]
402. >B) No way, we need to avoid your friends, Rainbow.
403.
404.
405.
406. “Fluttershy.” You say. “She will keep us safe?” Rainbow thinks for a second.
407.
408. “Honestly, Anon…” she begins. “I can’t say for sure. With Twilight acting like this, there’s no telling what could be the deal with the others.” She kneels over Twilight. “She’s kind of a doormat… but she’s the best choice we got right now.” You nod in agreement.
409.
410. “I’m willing to do anything at this point.” You say. “I just need to sleep at this point… anywhere…”
411.
412. Rainbow Dash gets up and trots over to you.
413.
414. “I’m sorry that you’re in the middle of this, Anon…” she says, looking down in shame.
415.
416. What say?
417.
418. >A) Positive response
419. >B) Negative response
420. >C) Let’s just get out of here.
421.
422.
423. CHOICE C
424.
425. “Let’s get out of here, Rainbow.” You say coldly. There’s no time for niceties. Especially with this giant mess here. You need to bail, and you need to bail now. Rainbow trots next to you and nods in agreement.
426.
427. “Alright… let’s go.” she says, leading the way. You follow closely behind her.  The sun starts to rise in the sky. It’s rays hurt your eyes slightly.
428.
429. “Dammit, I’m tired.” You say. Rainbow punches you playfully.
430.
431. “Nopony told you to go sneaking out in the middle of the night, Anon.” replies Rainbow Dash.
432.
433. Damn.
434.
435. She was right.
436.
437. You hear a small pop noise from behind you. You look back.
438.
439.
440. Twilight is gone. You face forward immediately. You start sweating slightly.
441.
442.
443. “L-let’s hurry up, Rainbow.” You say. She nods and picks up the pace.
