- >Day 1
- >Well fuck, we're actually in Equestria now.
- >But instead of just me.
- >That is me, Anonymous.
- >I am now a filthy mud pony.
- >A zebra, at that.
- >The panic waxes and wanes, but is easily evident when I take the time to notice my hooves.
- >Well fuck.
- >It seems we've - we being the countless amounts of other Anons - been allowed sanctuary in Equestria.
- >Outside of anywhere near other cities, of course.
- >I suppose Equestrian society has its own way of doing things and the show is a mildly different representation.
- >I'd come to learn things from the others, apparently we all had visited /mlp/.
- >We all had varying fascination with the show.
- >But most importantly, we were all ponies and we were now pitted against the elements.
- >Not of harmony, I mean nature.
- >Speaking of nature, I've decided that perhaps when I settle down I should take in my surroundings.
- >This is happening, after all.
- >Best to make the most of it.
- >In human life, I was still trying to make something of myself.
- >The only real passion I had was music, DJing, and working with technology.
- >Not a whole lot to be found at the time, if at all.
- >What else did I like?
- >The outdoors and exploration.
- >I guess I could try figuring out something along those lines tomorrow.
- >Night's falling and my turn to watch is over, luckily.
- >Guess it's nap time.
- >Day 2
- >I've met more of the Anons.
- >They all have started making names for themselves and banding together.
- >Some are still not used to the idea and seem unstable.
- >We don't talk about them.
- >Fortunately, no one seems to have bad OC syndrome.
- >Perhaps being thrust into this world meant there was no opportunity for people to be red and black with metal steampunk wings.
- >I have even less to worry about, as a black and white.
- >I look back at my ass to see what wicked tramp stamp I have.
- "Oh right, zebra."
- >All I have is some bizarre tribal swirlies.
- >Guess it could be worse.
- >Like some barbed wire muscle dude tattoo.
- >I'm hungry now.
- >Willing to munch on the grass and daisies, I prepare myself for the bitterness of chlorophyll.
- >...
- >It's shockingly decent and now I can see why they've made these into sandwiches.
- >Now to figure out how to harvest wheat and make bread.
- >If only real life worked like minecraft and I could punch or buck everything into what I want.
- >Which gives me a grand idea.
- >Become an alchemist.
- >I have a decent idea of cooking and what plants are safe or which ones are poisonous.
- >The plants of Equestria aren't too staggeringly different, either.
- >I'm going to go beyond our established borders and see if the plants vary at all.
- >And probably nibble on some more daisies.
- >Luck would have it that a patch of clovers and some other purple flowers lie beyond the town in great quantities.
- >I should probably inform the cooks of these things.
- >I don't really know any of the others by name or profession yet, I'm just going with the flow.
- >Asking around, I meet with Bacon Grease and let him know of the plant quarry.
- >He seems well aware and tells me of other locations to begin looking.
- >The farmers seem to be well aware of these things, also.
- >Time to explore even further, I guess.
- >After some rest.
- >Day 3
- >Zebrewster.
- >I met another zigger named Zen and realized the naming conventions for zebras should be consistent.
- >So I chose Zebrewster.
- >If I'm to mix up plants and make potions, I need a name to match.
- >I wonder how the shit I'm going to get a cauldron now.
- >Hopefully there are some Anons into metallurgy and smithing.
- >Zen happens to be someone I knew from the previous life.
- >Not surprising since I chatted with many of the Anons frequently.
- >He's glad someone will be around to make elixirs and salves, since he's going to be a medic.
- >I ask if there's anything he knows he'll need right away, but can't think at the moment.
- >Guess I'll take this opportunity to do the greater length exploring I wanted to do.
- >My body seems like it can handle trotting more than my previously out of shape form could, so off I go.
- >I make it some mile or so out of the group, trying to keep a straight line and spotting landmarks since I have nothing with which to breadcrumb.
- >Nothing of interest really.
- >I head back and choose another direction, using the sun this time so I can pretend I know what I'm doing.
- >I stop for lunch a mile out in what is north of the location.
- >I can see the shape of some hills or mountains in the distance and decide it may be smarter to gather a crew for that.
- >I come across a few different flowers and herbs on the way back so I gather them in my mouth and carry them back to work with later.
