It was a requirement to be able to see gore and brutal flesh wounds and not let it impair your work. >You’re grateful you can’t catch human diseases, or you’re sure you would have keeled over by now. >That still doesn’t stop the fleas or the ticks. >They keep you up at night, scratching and tossing over. >This place is a nightmare. >Every day you watch humans roll a cart out, pilled up with dead. >You’ve learned that these humans are omnivores, and will eat whatever they need to in order to survive. >That includes their very own horses. >Every day you have to do your best to heal humans, in order to prove your worth keeping around. >you’re not sure what you will do when you get your heat cycle. >You’re not even sure how many days you can keep going on. >You work too hard to think about getting home. >you just hope that someone misses you enough to bring you back.
