- >It's been many days since the last time I visited my friends home. Believe it or not I do have friends despite being almost what you'd call a lunatic
- >They are the only people who can stand all my crazyness and the only ones who stood by me when everyone else left me alone
- >I was so surprised when they made me the best man in their wedding, despite being a stonerat that time. They even made me the godfather of their daughter
- >They are the only ones who had faith in me when I was poor and the only ones who don't ask anything from me now that I'm successful
- >Their unconditional trust is what reformed me and made me walk the right path; though I still act however I want whenever I want
- >When I knock the door, they heartily greet me and make me come in
- >Inside the house is the light of their life, the little girl that somehow made me notice that life is something valuable and that I shouldn't waste it away, my godchild, Fluttershy
- >As usual, she doesn't say many words but she pays attention to the things I and her parents speak about, my trips, their work, she carfully listens to everything we say
- >When the conversation starts becoming slower, Carl (Fluttershy's dad placeholder name) takes out a photo album and begins showing me pictures of his daughter; like he always does. The girl would be ashamed if she wasn't already used to the excessive pride her dad has in her
- >This time, however, I have another topic to discuss, so I cut the photo viewing session short by saying "I heard from your dad that you begun boxing Fluttershy"
- >"O-only to learn the basics" she says shyly as usual
- >"So, what made you enter such a risky sport" I cassually ask
- >My question hit her off of her guard it seems because she suddenly replied "Oh, Norman invited me" only to cover her mouth and blush
- >I chuckle and say "Watch out Carl, it seems someone is going to steal your little girl" he just glares at me with a deadpan look
- >I reply to it with a smirk
- >"I think that sport is too dangerous for her and it also unfit to a lady" says Donna (Fluttershy's mom placeholder name)
- >"Naah, boxing's good for her. You really need to stop sheltering her so much, or else she will never stand up for herself" I say with confidence
- >"Anyways, I brought the topic up because I have a little something for you" Out of my bag, I take out a set of boxing gear
- >"Do you like it?" I ask the smiling Fluttershy
- >"I lov- I mean, I can't accept it, it must have costed a lot" She says going bck to her shy self
- >"Take it, that's what godfathers are for"
- >"O-okay" She meekly replies with a smile on her face
- >"What are you wating for, go try it on" Carl says while readying his camera
- >"I really don't like this" states Donna
- >She complies and goes to her room
- >When she comes out of her room, Carl starts taking pictures from every angle, while asking her to throw punches or to raise her guard
- >I never get tired of seeing him do that
- >"So, do you like your gear?" I ask her
- >"I love it, but the gloves are too big"
- >"Oh, those are mine, sorry. Here, take yours"
- >"Yours?" she asks surpirsed
- >"Of course, you didn't think I waas going to bring you toys and not play with you right?"
- >She cowers and looks away from me
- >"C'mon, it will be just a playful spar"
- >"Okay" she says
- >"I'm must record this, let me get my video camera" says Carl
- >"Oh boy, here we go" adds Donna
- >On the backyard
- >"This will be a 3 minutes spar, no low blows allowed, and this will end whenever I say so. Hit my daughter too hard and you're dead" yells Donna, our referee
- >hahaha, this is just a friendly spar, of course I won't hit her hard, and no matter how hard she hits me shhe won't be able to make me feel it with her little hands
- >"Begin" yells Donna
- >Fluttershy sets a big distance between us, but I cover it in 2 steps
- >I throw a wide hook, just to scare her without actually hitting her
- >She flawlessly dodges and positions herself behind my back gaining control of our arena
- >That must be a very good boxing club
- >"Come on girl, throw me your best punch, I don't want to go home without seeing how hard you hit" I say this while opening my guard and moving my hear forward
- >"O-okay, please prepare yourself" she says
- >Hahaha, as if it was going to hit anyways, I'll dodge as soon as I see her moving
- >She throws an uppercut out of nowhere, I move so it barely grazes my chin
- >"Heh, was that it? I didn't even fe..."
- >"Mr. Discord are you alright?" the voice of my godchild gets me out of my dream
- >"Fluttershy, what's wrong?" I ask because of how worried she looks
- >"Hahahaha" Donna's laugh annoys me for some reason "you got knocked out in less than 20 seconds. I'm starting to like this boxing thing"
- >"What? that wasn't a dream?" I ask dumbfounded
- >"Not at all, I have it recorded on hd and 3d, I also recorded a slow motion version. My little champion really has future in this" Carl is filled with pride for his daughter
- >"I'm so sorry Mr. Discord, I didn't want to knock you out" she says with teary eyes
- >"Don't worry Flutters, I was the one who wanted to spar afterall" I reply reassuringly
- >It's good to see that this meek little girl won't be needing any of us to defend herself, I'll have to thank this Norman boy for that
