- >You are Anon.
- >For some reason, you live in Equestria.
- >It's nice here, the sun tickles your skin with its warmth, and the birds sing their lovely song.
- >The idyllic scene soon is interrupted by none other than Twilight fucking Sparkle.
- >Oh man you hate the bitch. You hate her so much.
- >There's barely a joke that doesn't completely go over her head, and she takes everything way too serious for your taste.
- >"Anon! There you are. I need you to run some errands for me!" she greets you.
- >Good morning to you too, bitch.
- "Don't you have your little closet-homo dragon for that?"
- >Twilight seems confused by your moody response.
- >"Wow, did someone stand up on the wrong foot this morning?" she inquires.
- "Why would you care?" you reply.
- >Twilight sighs.
- >"Fine, be an unhelpful prick, not like I expected different from you." she concedes.
- >Twilight turns around the leave.
- "Then why would you even ask me for help when you know I'm not going to be your bitch?" you ask her.
- >She stops, looks back at you, and says
- >"Anon, you used to be a good person, and I'd like to imagine that some of that good is still within you, deep down. But it seems like I'm fighting a losing battle. You've changed."
- >Her face is left in a sad expression.
- >You intently stare at your feet.
- >"You know I've always defended you when you came up as a subject, but I don't know if I'll be able to do that anymore."
- >You feel your heart sink, but you don't want to accept that this just made you feel bad.
- >No, you're right. They're the ones who are wrong.
- "I'm not buying into your bullshit, Twilight. I know your tricks." you throw at her.
- >"Then so be it." she concludes and walks off.
- >You look after her walking away for a while, and then close your eyes.
- >Leaning back, you try to take a nap, but thoughts of remorse torture your mind.
- >No, you're not at fault here. You shouldn't have to change for them, they should accept you for who you are.
- >They're just being way too sensitive about everything. That's not your fault.
- >Tears fill your eyes, and you press your eyelids together trying to hold them back.
- >Like a dam you break and start to just let it out.
- >Sobs shudder your body as you try to understand why you're crying in the first place.
- >They're wrong, aren't they? You're right.
- >Conflicting thoughts race through your mind, and you'd love to open up to someone and just let it all out.
- >But there is no one.
- >Everyone you've considered to be a friend is now gone.
- >And it was your fault, not theirs.
- >You sit up and press your hands onto your eyes.
- >All that could've been, now out of reach.
- >What did you do?
- >You roll onto your stomach and wallow in your own pity.
- >Eventually you fall asleep, right there in the grass.
- >Sleep usually proved to be a nice way of escapism for you, but this time, dreams of remorse, loss and helplessness plague your mind.
- >With just one hand you're holding onto a root, twenty meters below roars a wild river.
- "Help! Anyone! Please!" you shout.
- >No answer.
- "Please, I can't hold on for much longer. Help me!"
- >Tears fill your eyes. You're going to fall and die.
- >And no one will mourn for you.
- >All because you couldn't swallow your own pride and admit defeat.
- >"I'm sorry, it's all my own fault, I'm such an idiot. I probably deserve this, but please give me just one more chance!"
- >Someone appears on the edge of the cliff and looks down at you.
- >It's Princess Luna!
- "Oh thank the heavens you're here! Princess, please, help me!" you shout.
- >"You've had enough chances already, Anon. And you've wasted them all." she says in a booming voice.
- "No, please, I am so sorry about everything!" you cry, tears running down your face.
- >Luna raises her left hoof and smashes onto the root you're holding onto, kicking you off.
- >You fall, and fall, everything goes dark around you.
- >You wake up screaming.
- >Phew, it was just a dream. But it felt so real.
- >Your heart is pounding and you feel sweat run down your forehead.
- >Night has fallen while you were asleep, and the moon paints the landscape around you in a soft silver.
- >Suddenly, you remember what took place this afternoon.
- >Tears begin to fill up your eyes again.
- >How could you be so stupid?
- >Looking over to Ponyville, you still see some lights in the windows.
- >Hoping that Twilight still is awake, you make for the long walk to the library.
- >You arrive in front of her door.
- >Light still shines through her window.
- >You feel a knot form in your chest, but you know you have to do this.
- >You knock on the door.
- >One.
- >Two.
- >Three.
- >And then you wait, listening for movement on the other side of the door.
- >Fear fills you as you hear hoofsteps from inside.
- >The door opens, and Twilight stands in the doorframe.
- "I'm so sorry about everything I've said and done, I just wish to apologize" you begin.
- >Twilight looks at you, her face set in stone, not revealing a single emotion.
- "I know I don't deserve it, but I wish to ask for another chance. A new start, so to speak."
- >Twilight remains silent.
- >You can hardly hold back your tears, and begin to scrape your foot along the dirt impatiently.
- >Finally, she breathes in heavily, and says
- >"No."
- "What?"
- >You're shocked by her response.
- >"No Anon. I've had enough. We all had enough of you. And you had more than enough chances to redeem yourself." she elaborates.
- >The reality hits you in the face, as cold and hard as it could.
- >"I don't have anything to say to you anymore. Good night, Anon."
- >You don't reply, standing there with your mouth agape.
- >Twilight closes her door in front of you.
- >And the world comes crashing down onto you.
