This has been the longest walk you've ever been on. Even the hike to Black Mesa wasn't this long. >Avon: Alright, we're here. >FINALLY! >As you walk in, you are hit by a smell that you didn't expect. Lots of other people. There were many characters going to and fro, asking for permission to go to certain worlds, chatting with each other, and other various things. Good guys, bad guys, humans, monsters, they were all there. >Wow, busy day, eh? >Avon: This is actually the least busy day we've had in a long time. >Really? That seems hard to believe. >Avon: Yes, but it's true. Now, if you'll follow me, I need to take you to training. >Training? >Avon: You think I would let you go to worlds without knowing what that thing on your wrist even does? >Well, no, but...... >You can't think of a single comeback. She actually has a good point. You just make a frown and cross your arms, wondering what the training is going to be. >Avon: Now, you see that gate over there? She points to a white gate in the corner. >Yeah? >Avon: That's the training world. Walk through when you are ready to train. I will be there waiting for you. >She suddenly vanishes in a flash, blinding you for a few seconds. It's almost like the time you accidentally caused a box of flash bangs to open and set them all off. To this day, you still wonder what Black Mesa even had those for. You look at the gate, and decide it's best to not waste any time.   >You start moving towards the gate when someone calls out behind you. >Eli: Jordan, is that you? >Hey! I see you died in there too! >Eli: Yeah! I thought I was going to just be a ghost when I died, but I never thought I would end up in a place like this. >You both share a friendly hug, then you notice he has a wristband just like yours. You ask him, and he tells you that he got it from the exact same person as you. Then you talk for a few minutes, getting to know what each others' day has been like. >Eli: Then, I got slapped in the face when I started doubting my reality. She is one good convincer. >Yeah tell me about. Well, it was nice to see you and all, but I have to go to training. >Eli: Really? Me too! Hey, maybe we could train together. >That sounds great. See you in there. >Not really. >You both walk in the gate at the same time. Suddenly, everything goes black, then suddenly brightens in a way that blinds you for a few seconds. You are in an open field, feeling very dizzy. You feel like you just went through a spin cycle. >Avon: Hello Jordan, Hello Eli. >Eli: Hello Avon. >H-H-Hello. >Avon: Well, now that you're both here, we can start the training. And Jordan, you might want to sit for a bit. >That sounds like, ugh, a great idea. >You pass out on the ground, not caring what it's made of. You don't wake up for an hour.   >The training was actually not that hard. Nothing was overly complicated, the only thing hard being the space-time continuum application, which no one ever uses. You learned how to spawn items for yourself, warp the world around you to your liking, even how to take control of people. You feel like you're fairly comfortable with you new wrist-controller. >Damn, this is going to be fun messing with everything. >Eli: Hey, hey, hey! If you're going to be messing with stuff, count me in too! >Ok, but I doubt you could keep up with my messing skills! >Eli: Oh, it's on! >Avon: Ok, ok, you two! Stop bickering and let's go back to the Hub. Remember, you can use the controller to return to the Hub at any time. >Girl, you sound like a tutorial voice in a video game. >Eli: Dude, do you want her to kick you out? >No. Sorry Avon. >Avon: It's ok, I know I can be a bit boring sometimes. Now, lets go back to the teleport room. >You both press a few buttons on your wrist-controllers, and you are suddenly whisked away by some force. She chuckles as she hears both of you scream at the sudden sensation. >Avon: These two are very interesting. They are funny to watch. And I think this is just the beginning.   End of Chapter 4.
