Welcome to CanterU: Kiyo's last day edition

Well, this is it. The last day of this decent spin-off is about to being. Anyone who joins me today, this is for you:

>With a glance at Luna, you notice she seems to be a bit… irritated.

>If you are, you’re gonna feel really bad.

“You’ve met Crescent, Luna?”

“Club. About a week ago.”

>Errr… so you and Kiyo know each other, Luna?

>Her hair seems a darker shade of blue than before.

>The lunch rush has started, and the now packed restaurant is looking right at your table.

>You can feel the crowd’s eyes boring into you and Luna.

>Where could she be?

>You run around the building and down the block in hopes of finding her.

>As your run past an empty park, you hear crying.

>You’ve grown accustomed to that sound these last few days.

>But this is a different kind of cry.

>It’s one of extreme, authentic anguish.

>And you hate it.

>Not only do you hate that, but you hate yourself too.

>You know who those sobs belong to…

>You eventually locate the Luna’s hiding spot.

>She’s alone in a childrens castle based playground, sitting inside the top tower.

>There’s a small window on the side, allowing you to see her.

>She looks a mess.

>Her face is wet from her tears, and her now darkened hair is all strewn about.

>And you’ve never felt more lost.

>You sure as hell are gonna fix it.

>You cast aside your feelings for those other girls for a moment and begin climbing the tower.

>You sort of wish fairytale knights had it this easy.

>Or hard, considering how winning the girl was inevitable.

>You enter the playset from the top, and climb inside, following the sound of Luna's tears.

>Eventually, you find where Luna is.

>However, your path is blocked by a door.

>And your inventory is empty, save for a pen and a paperclip.

>You knock on the door.

>Is she okay in there?

"What the hell do you think, you piece of trash?! Do I sound all right?!"

>No, she doesn't.

>And that's the problem.

>You want to fix this. Not hurt her further.

>She's speaking through sniffles and tears.

>It makes you sad to see her like this...

"You just don't get it, do you? Men! Why can't they ever just-"

>Will she just tell you what's wrong?!

>She looks at you, shocked that you yelled.

>You're a little shocked too.

>But you only did it because... well... you care...

"Oh, right. Now you care about me. After you slept with Sea Swirl-"

>It was at a club. Stuff like that was bound to happen...

"Whatever, dick."

>You've never heard her talk like this to you, or anyone before.

>It's like she's a totally different person now...

"I have all the reason to be mad, Kiyo! I can understand Sea Swirl. She's liked you since Day 1! But... Thursday..."

>She calms down a bit, but more tears come down her face...

>What happened on Thursday?

>You took her out to the show and you-

>She nods, as if she understands your thoughts.

"I saw you with Minuette, you bastard."

"But you went along and screwed around with other girls. How do you think I felt about it?! The one guy I thought I could be with in a long time, going for so many others! Do you know how much that hurt? Do you kno-"

>She stops speaking as you grab her and hug her close to your body.

>She struggles against you for a bit, but eventually she stops, the only sound being her last few tears.

>You pull back and look her in the eyes.

>Those beautiful, blue eyes.

>And you realize that, this whole time, you should have been with her.

>That Luna has been the one you've looked for for all your life.

>At least, till now.

>But what matters is that you found someone who you could say that... that you loved.

>And even though you hurt her, maybe she'll forgive you for what you've done to her.

>And then you can be her knight, rescuing her from the tower.

>Because you found love.

>And it feels right.

 

End Day 7

 

Epilogue

 

>You and Luna drive through the nearly empty streets near CU.

>She's saying a word to you, and every time you meet each others gaze she turns around.

>Maybe she's blushing. Maybe she's still angry at you.

>At least it wasn't a hassle getting her into the car.

>You pull up to her apartment.

>As you open the door for her, she finally looks you in the eye.

>And, finally at her front door, she hugs you.

>And that hug eventually becomes a kiss.

>It's not a long kiss, or a passionate one.

>But it means everything.

>Because now you now.

>And now she knows.

>That you have each other.

>And that's all that matters.
