  1. Seals, Shields, and You!
  2.
  3. Log from #Classroom on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 8PM EST: “Seals, Shields, and You!”, hosted by Forge:
  4. [20:03] welcome to Seals, Shields, and You!
  5. [20:04] Little_Dragon1, I mean I am not really here to participate, just watch. Thats what the “if it matters” was to
  6. [20:04] this is going to be a class on barriers, how to create them, the different kinds, and how to get around them
  7. [20:04] why are you teaching us how to get around them?
  8. [20:04] sounds naughty.
  9. [20:05] Every man has to know how to penetrate barriers and get to the sweet spot of a target.
  10. [20:05] if someone/thing has you sealed it would be good to know how to break it
  11. [20:05] Sometimes psions are attacked by ethereal beings; it’d help wiuth convincing said being not to goa round atatcking.
  12. [20:05] ok, that sounded unintentionally naughty
  13. [20:06] Little_Dragon1: Okay, smartie, why are being taught how to target people?
  14. [20:06] Agreed. Such beings normally go after those who lack defensive knowledge and mechanisms/.
  15. [20:06] that too
  16. [20:06] forge: Oh, break seals around yourself?
  17. [20:06] first we can start with a simple definition. seals are designed to inhibit flows of energy from inside of its designated area to outside of its designated area
  18. [20:06] and one can bypass shields without penetrating them, if I am not mistaken.
  19. [20:07] it’s the same reason that the school bully generally stays awy from the star football player
  20. [20:07] where shields are designed to inhibit flows of energy from outside of its designated area to inside
  21. [20:07] Has anyone ever been sealed in?
  22. [20:07] i have
  23. [20:07] It seems people who practice psi are the ones targeted
  24. [20:07] I’ve had beings try to seal me; it lasted maybe three seconds before I shattered it.
  25. [20:08] DragonAtma: Wereyou out in astral or something?
  26. [20:08] student: others get targetted too, but because they don’t practice psi, they don’t notice it
  27. [20:08] no, it was a random troublemaker
  28. [20:08] DragonAtma: They aren’t affected either I guess?
  29. [20:08] they are, they just don’t realize it
  30. [20:08] Okay, what happens to them?
  31. [20:08] they usually feel the effect of “i feel really shitty today and i dont know why”
  32. [20:08] oh
  33. [20:09] What’s the purpose of that seal?
  34. [20:09] many of them never take up psionics; others eventually do, and are hampered because of the seal and such
  35. [20:09] or are the effects what the purpose was?
  36. [20:09] or in some cases suffer extreme misfortunes and find that people generally are more hostile than normal toward them…not all attacks are focused entirely on the person.
  37. [20:09] Mmm maybe I’m sealed then
  38. [20:09] xD
  39. [20:09] T-T
  40. [20:09] Only online, anyway
  41. [20:10] Some seals can be so powerful they actually inhibit the mind’s functionality.
  42. [20:10] yes\
  43. [20:10] or so well programmed.
  44. [20:10] bitchesb8in… but there are always people who say they don’t get what’s so bad about me
  45. [20:10] h8in*
  46. [20:10] xD
  47. [20:11] and many do not realize it but people often seal themselves. When you doubt things your subconscious does try to prove you are not crazy by manifesting what you expect.
  48. [20:12] mm?
  49. [20:12] this is true. its pretty close to a theory called the thoughtform theory
  50. [20:12] well, there’s also other effects such as obsession which can occur over time
  51. [20:13] the more you believe something is true, the more you subconsciously put energy and intent into that idea, thus making it happen eventually
  52. [20:13] which is when an entity messes with one’s emotional energy
  53. [20:13] in order to cause them to act differently
  54. [20:14] I wish that worked better for me T-T
  55. [20:14] lets get back to the main topic though
  56. [20:14] Yeah, back to shields and seals
  57. [20:14] uhm, shields and seals are thoughtforms as well, correct?
  58. [20:14] one thing that should be noted is that it’s not always entities, though it’s rare, sometimes other psions can take unfair advantage of their abilities
  59. [20:14] i planned on starting with shields, but it wont be your average overdone bubble-shield and marshmallow shield class that you have probably heard 100 times already
  60. [20:15] It’s my own belief you’re unlikely to encounter such however
  61. [20:15] Sometimes a person can just be vulnerable to a particular energy and being in an area with too much of that energy can affect him.
  62. [20:15] yay classtime
  63. [20:15] shields can be programmed just like any other construct, this includes being attached to an object, either energetic or physical in nature, or being pre-programmed into an object as well
  64. [20:15] And some entities try to get your attention and accidentally cause damage in the process without intending to.
  65. [20:16] back to the topic though, dragon
  66. [20:16] that second one is a little different than how it sounds, being activated once a trigger has been fufilled
  67. [20:16] shields can also do more than just slow down or deflect the energy that someone is using to attack with
  68. [20:17] and can vary as much as the attacks you might be getting hit with as well
  69. [20:17] one of my favorite shields is one that is programmed with the intent to shred any energy that comes into contact with it
  70. [20:18] so it not only blocks attacks, but shreds them
  71. [20:18] this can be combined with another shield that drains anything it touches to fuel both shields
  72. [20:18] How about sentient shields that can learn from the attacker and therefore adapt to attacks thereby in theory requiring little further programming?
  73. [20:18] o.O
  74. [20:19] >_> the class just started Little_Dragon1
  75. [20:19] I know, just curious about that type as well.
  76. [20:20] welcome Midnight-Kiss
  77. [20:20] okay so how you make seal
  78. [20:20] Hello forge
  79. [20:20] are you here for class?
  80. [20:20] patience guys he is going to get there
  81. [20:20] I suppose so~
  82. [20:20] * forge sets mode: +v Midnight-Kiss
  83. [20:21] but yeah, shields can vary, and dont necessarily have to be defensive in nature.
  84. [20:21] LOL ld
  85. [20:22] other types of shields can also include tracking systems, that track the energy of an attacker
  86. [20:22] I can make a fairly basic barrier, not sure about shields though.
  87. [20:22] I can’t make anything ^^
  88. [20:22] most of these shields can be created through the same process of creating a bubble shield, but with additional programming and adaptation to the intent you want the shield to have
  89. [20:22] if someone would practice with me…
  90. [20:23] there will be practice after the class
  91. [20:23] And filters, used when using your senses to block out or reduce things that would affect your senses negatively or used by empaths to prevent being affected too much by others.
  92. [20:23] that is another non defensive application.
  93. [20:24] thats it for additions to standard shields, it was mainly a public service announcement to not do the same bland shielding over and over when you can do some fun stuff that offers a lot more flexibility
  94. [20:24] * zacherys just had an idea
  95. [20:24] share it
  96. [20:24] mmhmm
  97. [20:24] IIRC my shield type is sued by exactly one being, including msyelf.
  98. [20:25] used?
  99. [20:25] …but I’ve always been a bit weird.
  100. [20:25] mmhmm
  101. [20:25] Perhaps one can make a construct to augment scaning by acting as a complex filter
  102. [20:26] the next part of the shielding lesson is using constructs for shielding purposes
  103. [20:26] * forge sets mode: +v zacherys
  104. [20:27] shields also dont have to be limited to yourself
  105. [20:27] you can program constructs to have specific shielding attributes
  106. [20:27] such as 4 balls that create a shield between one another wherever they are placed
  107. [20:28] Heh
  108. [20:28] uhm, those balls would have to be able to maintain and duplicate themselves and each other when needed if one is targeted during an attack.
  109. [20:28] huh
  110. [20:28] an application such as that can be used to create a wall of burning energy to keep something out while you fix yourself up, as it doesnt feed off of your system and can be flexible in size and positioning
  111. [20:28] * zacherys walks around that shield qland blasts forge
  112. [20:29] Why would they not simply also be protected by the shield
  113. [20:29] that they are creating, LD
  114. [20:29] that was the point Traveller
  115. [20:29] apparently that wasnt clear >_>
  116. [20:29] true, but what if something bypasses the shield and attacks the balls directly?
  117. [20:30] If thats the case, why wouldnt they just attack you, dragon?
  118. [20:30] then there’s really no point to the balls, since they’re only there to maintain the shield
  119. [20:30] Who says the balls are not shielded separately
  120. [20:30] And therefore aren’t worth protecting, if they can’t create a shield that isn’t bypassable
  121. [20:30] guys its an example lol
  122. [20:30] and you’re over-analyzing
  123. [20:30] you can make this pretty neat and complex, and i like how you are thinking about it
  124. [20:30] it’s a mere ex-beat to the punch by the teacher
  125. [20:30] But your example sucks so we are making it better
  126. [20:30] keep it in mind for practice
  127. [20:31] but it was just to show you a theory as to how it would work
  128. [20:31] And we are f8gureing out how it’ll work
  129. [20:31] multifunction constructs with built in shielding is also very useful as well
  130. [20:31] Hehe
  131. [20:31] don’t worry, I’m sure forge will show you some suitable examples.
  132. [20:31] Little_Dragon1: What would happen if someone attacked the balls?
  133. [20:32] how about an ever expanding set of balls that keep increasing in number and themselves form a barrier while filling in any gaps that are made?
  134. [20:32] what are they expanding with
  135. [20:32] settle down peoples
  136. [20:32] Energy obviously
  137. [20:32] You settle down
  138. [20:32] you guys have some pretty good ideas though
  139. [20:32] ok, let’s let forge continue :3
  140. [20:32] so i cant wait for practice
  141. [20:33] forge, can you do stuffs in practice now?
  142. [20:33] You said you couldn’t :(
  143. [20:33] we are goign to cover all of the topics first
  144. [20:33] ik
  145. [20:33] question: a shield using your energy vs the shield using outside sources of energy: what are the pros and cons?
  146. [20:34] you will be more familiar with your energy
  147. [20:34] thus you can work it better
  148. [20:34] outside energy will give you decent cover from tracking
  149. [20:34] but may not be suitable for shielding
  150. [20:35] Id imagine a shield using outside energy being slightly harder to control as well.
  151. [20:35] now that we have some different ideas for shields out there, we can either go on to sealing or do a little brainstorming
  152. [20:35] Of course there is always increasing the energy in your system to the point where attacks bounce off…
  153. [20:35] its up to you guys
  154. [20:36] sealing time forge
  155. [20:36] because i was really enjoying the brainstorming you guys were having about the ball theory
  156. [20:37] well, that is an interesting idea, Zach, and I’ve actually used something that works to that extent, but it would require there to be a gap between the amount of energy in the attack and the amount in the defense
  157. [20:37] I could see that being useful against smaller or more rapid attacks, but less so against a concentrated amount of energy
  158. [20:38] Agreed Traveller
  159. [20:38] Or an attack designed to pierce defenses.
  160. [20:38] Though if your dealing with a pest you pissed off…
  161. [20:38] brb, bathroom while you guys brainstorm
  162. [20:39] agreed, but I think we’re here more to worry about something more challenging…
  163. [20:39] braiunstorming is good!
  164. [20:39] * zacherys has to deal with inconveniences more than challenges
  165. [20:39] I realize an ever increasing number of constructs would only be effective to a certain point if one is using his own energy unless one can keep increasing output accordingly.
  166. [20:39] * DragonAtma will upgrade his shields aftre this class, so ideas are useful.
  167. [20:40] true, but I’m certain you’re already quite capable of handling inconveniences
  168. [20:40] * Little_Dragon1 is already using some ideas to upgrade his shields
  169. [20:40] Funny I was thinkg the same thing atma
  170. [20:40] Wel, if it draws on ambient
  171. [20:40] it’s intaking energy, which as a result makes it vulnerable to being filled with energy maliciously
  172. [20:41] yep
  173. [20:41] if the balls are going to pile up
  174. [20:41] Someone might add a bit of programming to the ambient it’s intaking, for instance
  175. [20:41] why not make them form an energetic system
  176. [20:41] to fuel themselves
  177. [20:41] Exactly
  178. [20:41] “Filled with energy maliciously” ROTFLMFAO
  179. [20:41] if you can multiply the balls so easily, why not just make a sheld out of the balls themselves :P
  180. [20:41] ok, what would you suggest for a shield that increases energy more than consuming it?
  181. [20:42] Filled with malicious energy*
  182. [20:42] zacherys: that is actually a problem with having constructs that run on ambient energy
  183. [20:42] its rather simple to feed it “bad energy”
  184. [20:42] I know.
  185. [20:43] so internalized energy systems with constructs is a good thing, at least in my opinion
  186. [20:43] I think he was more chortling at my horrible choice of descriptory words than the thing described
  187. [20:43] Exactly
  188. [20:43] it was just an idea that popped in my head when he said that
  189. [20:43] but yes, this is actually the reason I rarely use ambient
  190. [20:43] and i was pointing out that he gave me the idea
  191. [20:43] I think it’d be easy to ‘hack’ a construct running on external energy as well.
  192. [20:43] Though not horrible but rather highly amuseing
  193. [20:43] indeed
  194. [20:43] programming can be hidden in energy, to my limited knowledge
  195. [20:44] I suppose a scanning later for shields is required to make them able to adapt to attackers.
  196. [20:44] but the scanning layer could be messed with if detected.
  197. [20:44] there are also shields that can be used exclusively for retaliation as well that can be used in combination with other shields
  198. [20:44] Scanning layer’s are a possibility, but I’d rather rely on my own sensing for adaptation
  199. [20:45] since it’s harder to mess with
  200. [20:45] If I personally would make a construct run off of ambient energy I would spend a lot more time setting up filters and working out ways that it absorbed the energy without it being to noticiable
  201. [20:45] First strike is the preferred strategy
  202. [20:45] one example would be using the shredding shield to dispatch an attack, a shield designed to track the attack back, and a shield designed to follow the energy lines back to the attacker with harpoons of energy
  203. [20:45] using shields that synergise well will give good results
  204. [20:46] The best idea ive come up with is to make it run off of the same stuf you do
  205. [20:46] so, would this shield send the energy back in its current amount or store a certain amount before sending it back?
  206. [20:46] Havent quite got that figured oyt yet though
  207. [20:46] that depends on how you want to program it
  208. [20:46] that is just another example
  209. [20:47] how about making the shield absorb and use the energies after they are shredded for maintaining itself?
  210. [20:47] that is a possibility
  211. [20:47] hmm, I just thought of making multiple segmented shields that act kind of like ‘pong’ paddles. bouncing off the attack and sending it back at the attacker either with increased speed or power.
  212. [20:48] that shield system is actually one i used to use a while back, it was a good example
  213. [20:48] Same forge
  214. [20:48] forge: What’d you use it for?
  215. [20:48] We should have a story time room too
  216. [20:48] but where is the increased speed/power coming from, midnight
  217. [20:48] shielding
  218. [20:48] would you add your energy to it, or the shield’s
  219. [20:48] pong paddles? uhm, couldn’t the attack just go around them?
  220. [20:48] forge: That’s not very specific… is it a private incident?
  221. [20:48] from the shielding traveller.
  222. [20:48] you’re looking at it literally, LD
  223. [20:48] i used it for maybe 4 months
  224. [20:48] it was just a shield system
  225. [20:48] dragon, the paddles would move to intercept the attack.
  226. [20:49] Oh, in general, forge?
  227. [20:49] she was speaking of the mechanism rather than the application, I do believe
  228. [20:49] not because an attacker?
  229. [20:49] …
  230. [20:49] and how would they handle multiple attacks that outnumber the number of paddles?
  231. [20:49] they could always shift in space
  232. [20:49] Student alot of us walk around heavily shielded
  233. [20:49] it’s not as though one paddle only has to bounce back one thing either
  234. [20:50] simple, create more paddles :P
  235. [20:50] The more attacks are used
  236. [20:50] I say segmented, because focused areas are usually better for deflecting attacks than a full shield.
  237. [20:50] Hehe
  238. [20:51] ah, ok
  239. [20:51] Agreed midnight
  240. [20:52] should we move on to seals?
  241. [20:52] aye
  242. [20:52] I would enjoy doing so
  243. [20:52] that may be best
  244. [20:52] seals are usually much more offensive in nature than shields
  245. [20:52] yes
  246. [20:52] I know little of seals beyond the inverted shield
  247. [20:52] they are programmed similarly though
  248. [20:52] one example as Traveller stated is the inverted shield
  249. [20:53] others include things like blocks and siphons
  250. [20:53] same here except for causing massive amounts of energy build up
  251. [20:53] one that was used in our last FFA was chakra blocks and mirror seals
  252. [20:54] chakra blocks either inhibit the flow of energy or stop it completely in a chakra or other important part of an energetic structure, such as the meridians
  253. [20:55] a mirrior seal is an encompassing seal that has a reflective inside, designed to reflect attacks back at the person inside
  254. [20:56] other seals can be used for different purposes, such as slowing the natural flow of energy in a location, this would inhibit any feeding on ambient energy
  255. [20:56] they can also be used with constructs as the shield was, 4 balls that seal something inside of the perimeter, and shield outside of the perimeter
  256. [20:58] any questions?
  257. [20:59] Ayes, along these lines
  258. [20:59] if this is the case, would a
  259. [20:59] cloaking seal be possible
  260. [20:59] howso
  261. [20:59] that is, something that blocks the person from sensing any outside data
  262. [21:00] yes
  263. [21:00] in a similar manner as to how one creates a shield to cloak themselves
  264. [21:00] seals usually would do that simply because they inhibit the flow of energy form inside to outside
  265. [21:00] hmmm…could you elaborate a bit more on cloaking?
  266. [21:02] 4) Cloaking shield. As with all constructs, shields can do whatever you can psionically. If you?re competent with telepathic projection, you can program a shield to send this same message out. So you could program it to ?suggest? you?re not there, or that you?re a really uninteresting object. I?ll let you come up with ideas for it?s usage.
  267. [21:02] http://psionguild.org/education/articles/defense-combat/elementary-psionic-shielding/
  268. [21:02] from that article
  269. [21:05] seals can be large to encapsulate an area or small, like sealing someones foot to trip them up
  270. [21:06] any questions/comments/brainstorms?
  271. [21:06] or can we move on to breaking shields and seals
  272. [21:06] Not at the moment,
  273. [21:06] I’m not really thinking easily on the seals
  274. [21:06] For some reason, just feeling a bit less creative on that front
  275. [21:06] uhm, you seem to not touch upon the fact that not all shields are made entirely of energy and there are things besides energy that can affect them.
  276. [21:08] you can elaborate on that Little_Dragon1
  277. [21:09] well, mental projections are not entirely energy based, and there are those who do things with intent alone.
  278. [21:10] which still is effected through energy
  279. [21:10] Plus there is the fact that you have to have full faith in your defenses for them to work since your mind is the thing that can make or break you in a situation where the defenses are tested.
  280. [21:10] I’d disagree on the first point, to be honest… They’re not entirely energy based, but the energy’s still there and how it’s affecting things.
  281. [21:10] as for the second, that’s a bit basic to be covering.
  282. [21:11] i know, just thought that should be mentioned either way.
  283. [21:11] the point of this lesson is to inspire creativity and to branch out with shielding and seals
  284. [21:12] the basics can be found in hundreds of articles already, including the old logs of old classes on the PI website
  285. [21:13] now breaking shields and seals
  286. [21:13] this is very intent driven
  287. [21:13] even moreso than shielding and sealing in the first place
  288. [21:14] it also requires a good amount of creativity in the first place as well
  289. [21:14] one example of an easy shield to break is the bubble shield
  290. [21:14] a very focused attack on a single small location with a lot of energetic force will usually break them
  291. [21:15] but that is completely useless against the typical marshmallow shield
  292. [21:15] which are better suited to being taken out by covering it in energy that strips will from the surrounding energy, it will act as an acid and slowly eat the shield away
  293. [21:16] these are just examples of course
  294. [21:17] the method will drastically change depending on the shield you are up against, but these being two common and easy shields, those are the workarounds for them
  295. [21:17] testing how to break a certain kind of shield will also let you know how to strengthen it
  296. [21:18] such as programming a test dummy to produce the shield and you attempting to break it
  297. [21:18] any questions about breaking shields?
  298. [21:19] no, but I can think of another method
  299. [21:19] If a shield isn’t prepared for it, you can simply drain the shield’s energy until it collapses.
  300. [21:19] and what about bypassing the shield entirely?
  301. [21:20] that too, althoguh some shields are betetr prepared for it than others.
  302. [21:20] or matching energies with the shield in an attack consisting of the shield’s energy surrounded by the actual attack?
  303. [21:20] bypassing shields is a little more advanced than what i had in mind for this lesson
  304. [21:20] surrounding the actual attack*
  305. [21:20] but it is entirely possible
  306. [21:21] IS PRACTICE TIME???
  307. [21:21] AM I LATE?
  308. [21:21] no
  309. [21:21] we still have breaking seals and then its practice time
  310. [21:21] ok :3
  311. [21:21] but breaking seals is the same as breaking shields but from the inside
  312. [21:21] cool, I would like to discuss how to bypass a shield with you later, I could use some advice on that.
  313. [21:21] or if you have help, breaking seals from the outside is usually pretty easy
  314. [21:21] no problem Little_Dragon1
  315. [21:21] any questions on breaking shields and seals
  316. [21:24] ok, so what is the best way to break a seal if you lack the energy to do so due to the seal cutting you off from it?
  317. [21:24] lets do practice here
  318. [21:24] im going to ping those in the class, those who dont want to practice i can devoice
  319. [21:24] I am guessing having a construct for just that purpose could be useful?
  320. [21:24] mmhmm
  321. [21:24] DragonAtma: forge Little_Dragon1 Student Aerys Clovers GH Midnight-Kiss Traveller zacherys
  322. [21:25] Practice is always good.
  323. [21:25] hmm?
  324. [21:25] hmm?
  325. [21:25] F you
  326. [21:25] fortunately, my cold is going away; if anyone wants me to create shields for them to practcie on, elt me know (and what type and level… unelss youw ant em to decide)
  327. [21:25] hmm forge?
  328. [21:25] I’m here
  329. [21:25] if i pinged you and you dont wish to participate in practice please say so now
  330. [21:25] :3
  331. [21:26] Im unsure how to exactly practice, and Ive no experience with attacking, but Im sure I could be a shield for people to practice on
  332. [21:26] * DragonAtma just olunteered to create shields for others, so yes, Atma will be rpacticing ;)
  333. [21:26] well its a practice for shielding
  334. [21:26] I wanna practice my shields since idk how to do any
  335. [21:26] I won’t be practicing
  336. [21:26] * forge sets mode: -v Aerys
  337. [21:27] so yeah, Ill practice my shielding :P
  338. [21:27] hmph.
  339. [21:27] would dronebase be a good tool to use to practice the shields atma?
  340. [21:28] I’d have to program it into dronebase
  341. [21:28] I definitely need the practice, relying mainly on fortitude has proven unreliable.
  342. [21:28] so I’d be manually creating shields.
  343. [21:28] forge,,
  344. [21:28] …*
  345. [21:29] well student, your best bet is to start with basic shields like the bubble shield
  346. [21:29] brb
  347. [21:29] and Little_Dragon1, where would you like to start
  348. [21:29] ad well as you Midnight-Kiss
  349. [21:30] I would rather start with seeing how well I can maintain a shield under pressure.
  350. [21:30] the only shield I really have experience making is a basic celtic ritual shield, aside from whatever shielding sylph has already in place.
  351. [21:31] did you catch the link with basic shields in it earlier Midnight-Kiss
  352. [21:31] wo wherever you think we should start.
  353. [21:31] didnt.
  354. [21:31] so*
  355. [21:31] shouldnt be that hard to do though.
  356. [21:32] I tend to learn by doing anyway~
  357. [21:33] well i would suggest getting a few ideas and trying to build a shield with energy and intent
  358. [21:33] and let me know when you have something going
  359. [21:33] and ill start with Little_Dragon1
  360. [21:33] so fire hard enough to make it hurt a bit, and Ill use the incentive to create a chield that will work.
  361. [21:33] shield*
  362. [21:33] dem typos today e.e
  363. [21:34] I already have something going.
  364. [21:34] okay, going to put some simple drones on midnight until they can fend them off with a shield
  365. [21:34] and ill start with little
  366. [21:35] hopefully sylph will put down her shields for this <.<
  367. [21:39] have they already started?
  368. [21:39] o.O
  369. [21:41] ive started with Little_Dragon1
  370. [21:41] and yes i sent the drones not too long ago
  371. [21:41] ah, Im not feeling anything.
  372. [21:42] even once I put the shield I had, down.
  373. [21:50] I have to run so I’d like to be excluded from the remainder of the practice. Thank you for the lesson, though.
  374. [21:51] alright midnight
  375. [21:51] I’m back, sorry, I know I was gone a while
  376. [21:51] i can help now, i was helping Little_Dragon1
  377. [21:51] okay.
  378. [21:52] After all shields and shield damaging techniques have been practiced, we should set up people in pairs to spar.
  379. [21:52] eh, I dont really do attacks <.<
  380. [21:53] i exclusively spar defensively Midnight-Kiss
  381. [21:53] and in the last free for all i was in the final 2
  382. [21:53] there wasnt a winner
  383. [21:53] Either way, a spar where you do both would still help us to better develop our shields.
  384. [21:53] regardless, forge, if Im being fired upon, Im not feeling it. I dont think sylph deemed it safe enough to disable her shields.
  385. [21:54] i havent started personally yet
  386. [21:54] my drones failed me
  387. [21:55] they did? o.O
  388. [21:55] they are just standing here
  389. [21:56] did you give the order? or are they just not responding?
  390. [21:56] they were just standing here
  391. [21:56] they usually dont need a direct order
  392. [21:56] curious
  393. [21:56] regardless, please, begin.
  394. [21:57] Ive already gotten excited in anticipation.
  395. [21:57] bubble shields
  396. [21:57] well, first Id like to find out if I can feel the attack. then Ill put up said shield
  397. [21:58] there are bubble shields around you now
  398. [21:58] they arent mine.
  399. [21:58] probably sylph’s
  400. [21:58] well there were bubble shields up
  401. [22:00] well, do me a favor then, and test them :P
  402. [22:00] they are gone now
  403. [22:00] Oh, cool.
  404. [22:01] tell me when you’re starting then <.<
  405. [22:02] im not going to damage you directly
  406. [22:02] that isnt the point of this practice
  407. [22:02] * Midnight-Kiss sighs
  408. [22:02] fine.
  409. [22:02] my shield should be up now.
  410. [22:03] pretty well programmed
  411. [22:03] o.O this is just my usual shield.
  412. [22:04] and?
  413. [22:05] nothing wrong with having theusual shield be rpetty well programmed
  414. [22:05] Ive not used it much, if at all. and I made it with only a small metaphysical knowledge base.
  415. [22:08] can I put it down now? starting to get somewhat of a headache.
  416. [22:08] yeah sure
  417. [22:09] i would definately look into some creativity with the programming though
  418. [22:10] of course. it /is/ just a wall of blue/silver fire around me.
  419. [22:10] I did say it was a basic ritual shield if I remember right
  420. [22:11] yeah, it was just constructive criticism
