>You are on vacation right now, near the Neighgagra Falls
>A nice old pony pointed you to the direction of a quiet lake
>As you stroll through the woods, the small beams of sunlight tickle your nose.
>The sun's almost down you see, you start to hurry to reach the lake in time
>About half an hour later you reach the lake, the sun's set by now.
>The lake is reflecting the pale moonlight and a few meters away you can make out the shape of something that looks like some kind of small boat.
>Inspecting it closer it turns out to be definitely a boat although made for ponies so a bit small.
>You don't mind and push it out on the water
>Hop in and start puddling to the center
>Lying down with your back to the water you slowly drift to sleep in the light of Luna's moon
 
>You awaken to a faint glow.
>Slowly opening your eyes you can see that it is certainly not the moonlight as the moon is covered by thick clouds by now.
>Sitting upright you look around yourself and can barely believe what your eyes are seeing
>A bloom of shining jellyfish swim around you, illuminating the water of the entire lake
>Looking closely though....
"W-wait a second"
>You come closer to the water with your face, inspecting the water animals
"Are those.... Ponies?"
>The Jellyfish do indeed seem to have pony body's on top of their bells
>Spectating them closer you also see that many of them aren't just swimming around randomly as you're used to by Jellyfish
>Instead they seem to be playing games of Tag or just generally communicating with each other
>You almost drop in the water as a voice next to your head startles the shit out of you
 
>Turn your head
>One of the jellyfish ponies came to the surface, looking at you
>A smile on her face appears as she starts to inspect you thoroughly
>You give a weak smile back, not sure if the creature has any malicious intentions towards you
>She rises one of her tentacles and slowly moves it towards your head
>You don't dare to mouth, and, truth be told, you also don't really want to move away from the small thing
>Her tentacle is now directly in front of your face and.....
>She boops your noose before starting to giggle
>"Gotcha", the mare says before diving underwater again
>You watch her vanish in the bloom of Jellyfish
>Suddenly you hear a splash on the other side of your head and as you turn around you now stare her directly in her eyes.
>"Hi!", she squeaks
>You don't really know to respond at first, so you simply give a weak smile
"He-hello, miss."
>"I haven't seen someone like you around before, what are you?"
>A questioning look on her face starts to show
"My... my name's A-anon"
>You respond real smooth.
>"Well, nice to meet you, Anon! Name's Water Blossom by the way!", she dives again and now appearing in front of you
>You get up, now sitting in your boat looking around
>By now other Jellyfish Ponies also started emerging from the water, watching you and Water Blossom curiously.
>You look back at Water Blossom who now looks around as well
>"Oh, how rude of me to not greet you! Welcome to the Lake's bloom, do you like our show?"
 
"I... yes. I actually did quite enjoy it"
>A huge grin appeared on Blossom's face, she seems quite content with your answer
>"We didn't have any visitors in a long time, what brings you here, Anon?"
>You take another glance around, the Jellyfish Ponies still watching you curiously, following your every movement
>Thinking for a few moments you answer the small Jellyfish that you are on vacation from your usually busy days for now
>Water Blossom splashes around the water a bit before trying to take one of your fingers with her tentacles, dragging the hand down into the water
>Immediately a lot of Jellyfish Ponies started circling it, touching it with their tentacles
>They tickle a bit but it actually feels quite comforting in a weird way
>You watch a few of them putting their tentacles together, nodding at each other from time to time while others started changing colors rapidly
>You can only begin to imagine what they might be doing right now. Some kind of communication maybe?
>Another Jellyfish swims over to Water Blossom, nodding at her as she nods back.
>In a blink of an eye, all the Jellyfish Ponies in the lake start to circle around you, forming geometrical formations of all sorts, glowing brightly in the colors of the rainbow
>They start to perform a dance of grace and precision, the entire lake now a giant pool of colors
>You can't help yourself but smile at the display, Water Blossom swimming next to the boat looking up to you excitedly
