The moon slowly ascends into the heavens, joining its tiny, sparkling companions for another night together. >Roseluck, however, is awake. Very wide awake, in fact. And she's not in a very good mood. >To her sides are a colt and a mare, both wearing black so as to minimize visibility. Embroidered on the collars is a single rose. >One of them holds up a lantern to reveal a bound, trembling mare kneeling on the grass. She looks like she's going to make a mess of herself at any second. >After a couple minutes of silence, Roseluck tears off the gag, causing the prisoner to whimper a bit. >"Ms. Petunia, I'm very disappointed in you," she begins. "I gave you a simple assignment. All you had to do was to transport the cherry blossoms to me, yet I don't have them. Why is that, Ms. Petunia?" >"I-it wasn't my fault, boss," Petunia struggles to get out, her voice shaking. "I w-was robbed." >"That's what they all say," Roseluck says with a sigh, rubbing a temple with a hoof. "Yet it turns out that they always robbed the shipments for themselves. They stole from me." >"I didn't rob you, I swear!" she screams. >"Quiet!" Roseluck hisses. "Do you want to wake up all of Equestria?" >Petunia looks down and starts to cry, tears streaming down her dirty face. >"I can't believe I'm giving up sleep for this," Roseluck groans, taking a deep breath. "Very well. I'll play along." >She puts a hoof underneath Petunia's chin and raises it up, forcing her to look into her cold, unblinking eyes. >"So tell me. Who stole the shipments then?" >"It was the...the...the Bluebell Brothers!" >Roseluck raises an eyebrow. >"The Bluebell Brothers?" she says with a scoff. "The 'Blueballs' have been out of business for months." >"I know w-what I saw," Petunia says, sniffling. "I'd recognize them anywhere." >"You're lying, Petunia." >"I'm not. I swear to Celestia herself." >Roseluck smirks. Her henchmare comes up with a bound pony with a bag over her head. >"Oh really?" she asks. "Then why did I hear a different story from..." >She pulls off the bag, revealing another rather disheveled mare. >"...your little friend here?" >Petunia's eyes widen in shock as soon as she sees the other prisoner. >"V-violet? What did they do to you?" >"I'm sorry, Petunia," Violet says between sobs. "They forced me into the bunny cage." >"I'd love to let you two catch up to each other," Roseluck says. "But unfortunately it's getting rather late. Your reunion can continue...in the bunny cage." >"Not again!" Violet screams. >"Please, anything but the bunnies! Anything!" Petunia pleads hysterically, a fresh flood of tears pouring out of her eyes. >"Betrayal isn't to be taken lightly. You did this to yourselves." Roseluck responds curtly. "Take them away." >"Yes, ma'am." >The colt and the mare move the sobbing traitors onto a cart and head away from Ponyville. They soon disappear into the horizon, and Roseluck heads back into town. >"It's not easy being on top."   >The sun is beginning its ascent over Ponyville, its residents starting their usual morning routines. >Lily and Daisy drowsily descend the stairs in their shared home, their eyes half-open and their manes messy. >"Rise and shine!" a voice calls from the living room. "I have a surprise for you girls!" >The two sleepy mares reach the bottom and find Roseluck with a large assortment of beautiful pink plants around her. Their eyes open in shock as their mouths hang open. >"Are those..." Lily manages to get out. >"Cherry blossoms?" Daisy finishes. >Roseluck nods her head, a big smile on her face. >"Yep! They just came in this morning! I heard that this was the perfect time of year for them. Aren't they pretty?" >"How did you manage to get them?" Daisy asks. "Cherry blossoms are hard to find." >"Oh," Roseluck says with a wave of her hoof. "It wasn't exactly easy. We can set them up later, though. I made you all breakfast!" >"Aww, you're too nice, Roseluck," Lily says. "I don't know what I'd do without you." >"Anything for my bestest friends in the whole world!" Roseluck chirps as she enters the kitchen. >"Is it even possible for Rose to be mean?" Daisy asks as she and Lily start to follow her in, careful so as not to trample on the new flowers. >Lily laughs. >"Our Roseluck? Mean? Pfft. Yeah, right."
